What’s more, Google’s censorship covers a broad range of subjects well beyond politics as revealed by this leaked YouTube blacklist showing hundreds of topics that were removed from search results.
For example; the truth las vegas massacre, sandy hook crisis actors compilation, cancer cure, cure cancer, anthony bourdain murder, kate spade murder, anthony bourdain pizzagate, kate spade pizzagate, and AMLO (Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador) were all blacklisted from YouTube search results.
They're blacklisting the president of Mexico from Youtube search results.
This goes further than just American politics.
It is not AI we have to worry about, it's these tech tyrants. Ecrasez l'infame.
I noticed the same thing with random image search results. Where you can search for something non-political and see that they've injected political/news results into the mix, OR they've filtered hits for your keywords so much that only one page of images will come up when there used to be dozens. I got a "There were no results for your search." page the other day. I hadn't experienced that with Google in a long time.
To get around these filtered results, sometimes purposefully misspelling the result lets you get around the censorious algorithm. On top of that, sorting by "most recent" sometimes lets you catch new stuff before it hits their 1984 filter.
I've just today searched for some videos I saw years ago about censorship of an older game. Can't find it anymore, impossible to find in any way. Videos were around 6-8 years old but you'd think stuff to still be there. I might misremember the title but general search for it should find me what I saw years ago. No dice.
All the thought experiments and SciFi exploration about the dangers of AI and how to possibly restrain it were a complete waste of time. The weak AIs running the social media feeds are already effectively in charge. The engineer who writes them is himself manipulated by them in a self-agitating feedback loop, and, even if he is resistant to it, his boss isn't.
The AI is only as good as the data that is fed. If it's fed leftist data the AI will be a leftist retard. See: Youtube and how it auto-strikes videos for retarded shit.
This is great confirmation of stuff we already knew in pieces or suspected, sort of like wikileaks. It's good to have as ammo when leftist NPCs repeat their "There's no search bias. You're just being paranoid." and "Nobody is censoring conservatives, you all just break the rules more." scripts.
Though my favorite mantra from the more techy types is that Google's algorithms are all black box neural networks and even they don't know how they work.
Their algorithm can rig and election, identify less than a second of copyrighted audio or video, and push to you what keeps you engaged. It does all of this insanely well.
But they "can't" stop the rampant bot problem, from obvious scams posted all over to bots sponsored by Soros and our government to push propaganda.
They "can't" make their search results show relevant information. Nowadays if you search for something simple, all the results are utterly shit. You get nothing but shitty lists thrown together by someone mass producing shitty lists that repeat themselves for SEO. No useful information.
It didn't use to be this way. But these "blogs" figured out how to game the SEO. Google use to actively discourage this type of SEO, because it's obviously bad for their consumers. They actually worked to mitigate it. But now, they just gave up, and probably reverted all their work. I am 100% sure that Google is fully capable of giving good results again; they just don't.
Google figured out how to game themselves is all. Those bots are responsible for massive amounts of adsense revenue. They’re “giving up” all the way to the bank.
Exactly. The root of the problem is that Google is simultaneously a search engine and the largest ads provider for the internet. Google has a vested interest in showing you search results that have the most ads on their websites. I'm not saying they're propping up results directly that have more ads; but I'm saying there is a correlation between websites with aggressive SEO and a high number of ads. Where Google would, in the past, change their algorithm to lower the ranking of websites with clearly aggressive SEO (it's not even that hard to detect when someone is trying to game the system.), I speculate that because of this correlation with ads, they've reverted.
So instead of getting a website that's a page of text and images hosted on someone's home server somewhere that tells you exactly what you need to know in a clean way, you only get articles mass-produced by some "writer" somewhere (he's probably verified on Twitter, though), whose sole job is to write these horrible articles scavenging a minute amount of information from another website to fit in somewhere, mostly just so they have a vessel to attach their SEO onto.
The sad thing is that this minute amount of information they scavenge for now often comes from other articles written like this because they're what appears on Google for the "writers", so it's a huge feedback loop.
What ends up happening is you'll have one decent piece of advice for the problem you're searching for that will be the basis for all of the top search results, where the articles take that brief piece of advice and reword it, surrounding it in ads, and repeating the search query they're targeting over and over within their article.
But they "can't" stop the rampant bot problem, from obvious scams posted all over to bots sponsored by Soros and our government to push propaganda.
Sure they don't wanna get rid of the shill bots but even the malicious ones are fine. There's this shit about winning and joining some telegram going really big now on youtube if you comment under people's videos on youtube if they are sufficiently big enough. They just don't care and prolably don't want to make it harder for the shill bots so they keep all of em.
They "can't" make their search results show relevant information. Nowadays if you search for something simple, all the results are utterly shit. You get nothing but shitty lists thrown together by someone mass producing shitty lists that repeat themselves for SEO. No useful information.
It's actually worse btw. Try going back on Google searches or any search machine really. You can't go as far as you used to because they will pretent to have x miliion hits but only show you 30 something pages at all. I've tried this with controversial stuff(where you can't find anything not MSM bashing conservatives) and benign things which just end with nothing quickly. Internet is pretty dead, make the test yourself.
The specific problem I'm referring to isn't even controversial stuff. It's basic shit like looking up how to do a DIY repair on your car or whatever. The search results are orders of magnitude worse than they use to be.
It's because Google provides the ads on these shitty websites. Google has a vested interest in not deranking shitty websites with a billion ads and poorly written articles that are only written specifically to game the search algorithm.
It's not only google though. You can try this with Bing, Yahoo, any of tem really. You won't be finding the same stuff you did a lot of years ago. As I said before: Internet's dead and buried, the ones who did it are high up in google's heiarchy. There's this dead internet theory going about but I don't think people were expecting it to be proven this way. Seriously, for everyone: try searching yourself even if it's something mundane(like lettuce for example) and go back multiple pages on google. Not only will you see pages just repeat but you'll also see a sudden end with lettuce as an example (297.000.000 hits) going down quickly.
It's not just Google, but Google is the company that is most poised to stop it on their platform. They are completely capable. I'm pretty sure they've actually reverted algorithm improvements that stopped this type of aggressive SEO.

Google is undoubtedly The biggest evil when it comes to Big Tech. Which is why we shouldn't be using/supporting it. That means no google search or front for it and no chromium browsers or firefox. I know it's hard, but it is doable.
For search there's Brave search and Mojeek. For browser there is Pale Moon.
Many unknowningly and unwittingly use google sadly. Like Brave browser, or Startpage. Research your own setup and dig a bit deeper.
Sad that even if the GOP manages to overcome Google's election meddling and retakes both the house and senate they're going to immediately go into cuck mode as usual and let shit like this slide.
I firmly believe that includes most regressives, too. They'll just move from the "it's not happening" phase of denying the obvious truth to the "... and it's good that it is" stage of psychological manipulation.
I've said it before, but I wouldn't be surprised if eventually definitive and incontrovertible proof comes out that the Democrats rigged the 2020 election, and they just own up to it. They just had no other choice, you see; Trump would have destroyed democracy.
All those movies where the good guys hack the TV or whatever to broadcast the truth and then win as a result were silly. If all the evil people running the world went on CNN to confess the horrors they did for 24 hours and then the news went back to normal, the majority of the population would be completely unfazed.
They'll also say that it doesn't matter since there's nothing that can be done to reverse it anyway so we should just stop caring about it. It's the standard "the past is the past" bullshit that the left and those who have been brainwashed by it love to use when caught having done bad things.

Google is deleting itself. It's time to find where the internet actually is now.

Try searching '2020 election fraud' on Google and Yandex.
I first noticed this when trying to find the full Ray Rice video
AI is definitely something to worry about, but what is most concerning is those making the AI, and telling it what to do. Ditto for algorithms.
All the thought experiments and SciFi exploration about the dangers of AI and how to possibly restrain it were a complete waste of time. There is a search bias. Searches basically stop being useful after page five because they reset to page one.

There were a few articles about this, but most any mention has been purged.
Robert Barnes is the only person I've ever seen talk about this.
IIRC, Wisconsin had a respected retired judge conduct the inquiry and found all kinds of bullshit.
