vaccines are used to protect not just one person but a community of people by stopping the spread of a disease

Good to know we both agree the clot shot isn't actually a vaccine then.

Also find it funny that vaccines are not individual choices but abortions are; really outlines the divide in thinking.

I guess abortion = 1 less mouth to feed in the bread lines, vaccines = total party compliance?

Sure ... but with these experimental substances ... it'll be many fewer mouths.

"public health" is yet another commie magic word that means "whatever forwards my agenda"

note how they never talk about promiscuity, pornography, random faggot buttsex, trannies, fatties, illegals, etc as as "public health" issue

That's because it was never about bodily autonomy in the first place.

Even Roe didn't argue bodily autonomy. The Right to Privacy was in the decision to get an abortion itself with a medical practitioner. Roe never argued bodily autonomy of a woman. No one ever did. You just used it as rhetorical warfare, and when it became fashionable, you dropped it.

You never wanted women to choose (because you already oppose women who reject abortions as murder), and you never respected it as bodily autonomy, so you finally gave up and took off some of the mask: you just want population control.

The two primary arguments for abortion that I have heard are:

  • Eugenics: The poor and the disabled should be removed from society since their quality of life is below that of the upper-middle class.

  • School Shooter Mentality: You hate yourself and you wish you were dead, so you wish you had been aborted, and want to abort other children because you think the world is so bad they'll end up like you.

A non-argument for abortion they won't talk about:

  • Use promiscuity to destroy the family, community, and race. When a people is conquered, they must be destroyed as organizational unit, so the individuals thenceforth can be better enslaved. Turning the women into whores turns the men into cattle.

Sure, but it's not about conquest. Rouseau was the one who pushed this idea originally, and he didn't exclude anyone from the destruction of those systems. He wanted all of civilization to die.

a really savvy co-option

It's not savvy at all. Liberals today are so hypocritical you can just take any of their slogans and use them as-is against them.

It's really amazing how shallow the left's pro-choice arguments have been proven to be. To force people to take a vaccine THAT DOESN'T EVEN FUCKING WORK they approved of the violation of both privacy and bodily autonomy. You HAVE to take the shot and you HAVE to fucking prove it.

The best part is, it's not even intentional. The right just (and no, not exclusively) memes the truth.

We destroy the left's arguments without even trying.

NPR: 'My body, my choice': How vaccine foes co-opted the abortion rallying cry

singularly personal

Because getting pregnant and choosing abortion doesn't affect or involve anyone else in any way especially not a baby, bigot

And once again, the left's response is to show us they can meme ... by writing a novel.

I think it's because good memes rely on the reader's life experience. The actual meme isn't doing anything more than pointing out something the reader already knows, that's why they can be so short.

Leftie memes, with their focus on re-writing reality, have a lot more work to do, they have to construct the reality they're trying to place the meme in, so, novel.

Really shows how they view these things, this entire diatribe just shows that the words as shallow as a puddle to them, a slogan to hurl at people and then discard when it becomes politically disadvantageous. Stomach turning, I wonder if it'll be years or months before they deny all reality of having ever said the phrase at all.

marking a stunning annexation of political messaging

Which you were told was coming the moment you started forcing people to undergo an experimental treatment in what is, if not violation of the nuremberg code, REAL FUCKING CLOSE TO ONE. Now you can't say 'my body, my choice' without reminding everyone that you didn't want to extend the same bodily autonomy to others.

It's a really savy co-option of reproductive rights and the movement's framing of the issue

It's not 'really savvy' at all. It was glaringly obvious. Over a year ago, twitter randos were openly warning you that trying to force the vax on people would obliterate the notion of 'my body, my choice', because it is literally taking decision about someone's own body away from them.

You were warned, if you bully people into vaccines they don't want, don't expect your hyperliberal abortion rights to stick around after the pandemic.

framing the decision to vaccinate as a singularly personal one also obscures its public health consequences

There are a minimum of three people directly involved in a pregnancy. The child cannot speak, and for some reason that is completely beyond me, the father has no say in anything whatsoever, giving all decisionmaking to the mother, and the invisible parent, the state.

stopping the spread of a disease to those who can't protect themselves.

Yeah, such as babies in the womb.

This is a minor victory in the propaganda war, co-opting a leftist slogan "my body my choice" and applying it rationally to forced vaccination with an experimental drug that's proving to be . . . uh . . . problematic (to keep with leftist usage for a second). I'll take it.

Not surprising that NPR tries to rationalize the fact that pro-abortion activists are hypocrites and cherry pick their facts to suit their deceit.

You mean like saying abortion is a necessary part of the reproductive process? It’s amazing how they can conflate medical need with mild inconvenience. The medical community is in shambles, I remember quitting the last hospital I worked at because of the “believe in science” and pride flags. The medical community will not change this mass suicidal course until we tear down the ivory tower institutions of wokeology.

This is the truth and it's going to be a long time reforming, I think, unless something drastic happens in the meantime.

Except it doesn't even mean the same thing. In the case of anti-vaccine MANDATE (emphasis important) crowd, "My Body, My Choice" is actually legitimate. It's their body. And only their body. It should be their choice.

In the case of the pro-abortion crowd, there's the little factor known as the BABY'S FUCKING BODY.

AKA : If anyone here doesn't deserve the slogan, it's the pro-abortion crowd. Also, they're not pro-choice. If they were pro-choice, they wouldn't be torching natal care centers. They're pro-abortion.
