It may be annoying, but that is probably one of the things that keeps their church vibrant. If you spend two years of your life trying to convert strangers, that's a whole lot of sunk cost into your religion, and it's also very likely that it will have a great effect on how persuasive you find your religion.
They may appear happy at first glance but don't be fooled. They creepy fucking cult puts so much pressure on its followers there is rampant mental health and drug problems. Don't stick your dick on crazy. Don't go anywhere near a cult.
Utah has far less social problems than other similar states, not more. Speaks well of the 'creepy fucking cult', at least better than creepier fucking cults like the Unitarians, the UCC and the Episcopalians.

Ordinary Mormons are OK. It's their politicians who are garbage, and the Groomer Governor being the worst of them.

I have slowly become a monarchist as the west continues to atrophy. None of the modern political systems appear to be capable of producing leaders.
Don't expect monarchy to be better though, except at producing leaders who are less morally corrupt.
At this point I will settle for systems that produce leaders that don't hate their own people.
