Most tech companies are now openly discriminating in hiring. It will take a few prominent lawsuits to stop this shit. The last role I hired for was marked black only by HR. I never saw a white candidate.
Those law suits won't change shit. At most they will pretend to vet white men then never hire any of them. Hooters can discriminate and has stood up to law suits.
Hooters can do that because the law allows discrimination when necessary for the purpose of authenticity or genuineness for an actor or fashion model.
That doesn't apply to most jobs.
But I agree with you that lawsuits won't change much, if at all. They might try to be more sly about it but that's all.
Do they count Pakistanis as black? Because there were entire departments of Pakistanis who refused to hire non Pakistanis in my last company.
Imagine the S m e l l
Perhaps a good response to this kind of things would be to ask if they follow Günther's racial classification scheme. I need to know because I'm Slavic and so BIPOC in his classification.
No, this was specifically black only. Africa/African American/south and Central American.
There are already boatloads of Indians and Pakistanis at work.
HR departments need to be abolished.
And ask adults to resolve conflict like adults? That's crazy talk!
Deprive women of a lucrative career circle-jerking about feelings, imposing diversity quotas, implementing language policing policies and overall diminishing a company's efficiency and profitability?
Absolute madness.
Can you imagine how much toxic masculinity the productive members of a company would create if they weren't being henpecked to death daily by a bunch of highly-medicated femcels?
HR departments are there to ensure legal compliance
Nothing will change until "civil rights" legislation that abolishes freedom of association is overturned.
This is why we only hire for our dev team based on internal referral (we recruit them). HR only gets involved when we walk them over to fill out their "you're hired" paperwork.
This woman is such a caricature of a leftist.
I bet she had some interesting opinions about men that the (female) Libs of Tiktok didn't show us. Now the account is locked so we'll never know.
That would not surprise me in the least. White leftist women do tend to be extremely anti-men. I can bet that if she had a choice between a black man and a white woman, she would pick the white woman.
In my experience, pushes for diversity always equal white women with a token black man, or if it's centered on a race, a ton of black women.
I think is worse for the new generation as many will not get a chance. If you are above 30 and with decent knowledge of what you do they will not replace you for diversity reasons, although you may get replaced with someone from India for financial reasons.
It works out in the end. They call you back as a contractor to fix the mistakes the Indians made.
Dad did 40 years at the State doing sys-admin. He's been retired less than a month, and they're already trying to bring him back part-time at almost twice the salary as his Needful-Doing replacements have fucked the dog so badly it's an international security risk.
Companies that are run by these sorts of people will ultimately fail.
Sadly that's wishful thinking I fear. Because these companies are propped up & manipulated into successfull market positions by subversive global funding.
They also get government contracts. They also infiltrated companies that are practically monopolies on what they do. Google and Amazon have to do something extreme to fail. At worse they would be slow falling for decades.
They also racketeer against their competitors to stop any of them from becoming successful. This is what made Patrick Byrne of Overstock.com hire a WSJ reporter to investigate them and start Deep Capture. And from our research the Swamp turned out to be MI6 and the Rothschilds running Russian and Islamist operations with the entire PR industry, all of Microsoft, and several heads of the American Bar Association implicated in treason.
Google is Alphabet which is almost certainly controlled at the state level by the US government. Similar to how "news" outlets are now just state sponsored propaganda.
I think Google can fail quickly.
They really only have two things they're entirely reliant on, ads on search and youtube.
Search sounds like a sure bet monopoly, but it's in peril from their own research in AI. Anybody can generate any amount of realistic looking content written by an AI even about specific topics, and the AI can't tell the difference because it's made to sound like what an AI thinks is real.
They've already added rules that sites will get banned/blacklisted if they use AI generated content, but they'll have to hire people to determine that and good luck keeping up with spammers, who'll just click a button and generate new sites and content if they get banned.
Youtube is failing from self-inflicted policy wounds of showing people what Google wants them to see rather than what the person wants to see, so they are losing to Tik Tok, Rumble, and others because those sites are more fun and engaging. YouTube is becoming just a video player for things linked to from elsewhere, which means video can be put wherever gives the best return meaning that Google can't extract huge profit from it. Of course they could lift their bias filters, but their ideology prevents it.
They can't adapt because their internal systems are byzantine, taking half a year for new hires to be able to do anything, and with policies that prevent change. For example, for ten years they've been unable to add case-sensitive search because the UI team won't allow another button to be added.
So yeah I think they could fail in as little as 5-10 year timeframe -- not go bankrupt, but be completely dethroned.
There's a saying that the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent. This is similar. These parasites can destroy the company's value without killing it completely, especially when most competing companies are doing more or less the same thing.
Everything eventually fails, yes. While that statement is true, it's not entirely useful.
There are more people alive today than died throughout the entirety of human history. Though we have a good reason to believe everyone will die, something may happen yet that makes immortality possible.
Likewise with empires.
False. The condition known as "life" has an approximately 92%-93% death rate. Only 7-8% of people ever alive since we first evolved into humans are currently alive.
It is still as astronomical number, and a surprisingly high one, but it's nowhere near 51%.
I can't get over how effective just showing screenshots of these people's lives are. They're so casually racist, it puts us to shame.
Dropbox still exists?
'Bout vomitted when I saw it on my friend's linux desktop. Syncthing, ni🅱️🅱️a
As long as people keep entering in their payment information for a free trial.
like amazon it could be run for free.
Hmmmmm.
I find it quite funny that all these faggots who want 'less hwites' in their hiring processes dont start with themselves, lmao!

Interesting. Reminds me of the similarity between the gmail icon and the masonic apron.
She has panicked and made both her Twitter and LinkedIn private. Her personal website is even offline! Even her husband's personal website is now password protected. It would seem that her pretentious leftist bullshit has backfired spectacularly. Surprisingly, she doesn't seem to be verifiably jewish though.
Recommended Alternatives? Besides.. shudder the Gulag drive.
Just get a NAS and host your own stuff. Nextcloud is quite good, but pretty slow. Seafile is also quite good, is faster, but with less functionality.
Otherwise:
Free:
Paid:
I thought Dropbox was just storage, do they do anything else? You can get any cloud storage or your own. I run a NAS at home and use that.
It's storage plus file syncing.
Nextcloud has replaced Dropbox completely for me, and added functionality too. Everyone says it's too slow but recent major updates have overhauled its speed and I never had any issues to begin with, so whatever.
Box.com and iCloud. I believe Google, Amazon, and Microsoft all have similar services although I've not tried it. It might be worth checking out Amazon Drive if you're already paying for Prime.
Or do what everyone else is suggesting and roll your own.
Host your own.
Too bad, since it's actually a great product. Anyone have recommendations for alternates?
My university used https://www.box.com, which as far as I can tell does essentially the same thing as dropbox. Its probably woke though (as all tech companies are.) Also iCloud if you're in the Apple ecosystem.
What I do is run my own NAS with web access. Its more effort to set up, but once running, there's no monthly fees.
As others have pointed out, you can set up a NAS. I am using a smaller one and is been great. I use it for media sync on my phone and my wives phone, not to mention I also use it for streaming videos and other stuff.
Because depending on code written by a programmer that was hired based on their looks is always a good idea.
Don't use Dropbox. If you're forced to, encrypt everything.
I can totally agree with that feminist's message to all the people who follow her on Twitter: you've hanged. Preferably until they stop moving.
