That's okay, I delisted DDG as my default search engine.

I have been noticing again and again I have been having to go to google because DDG just isn't giving me obvious search results that it should so I have to go over to google [barf] just to find what I need.
I just don't know what to use instead that is better ;( HALP

I am using Brave Search (from the creators of the Browser) and it is good so far. Sometimes go to Google also.
Yeah I've been using that. It's quirky but I've got a higher degree of confidence in the Brave folks.
Yea, brave is good for 95%+ of my searches. Occasionally a search is too complex and I have to use Google but that was the case with DildoDiddlingGroomer, too.
I switched off of them a while ago because they started their "muh disinformation" spiel, Brave search is actually better in my use case. DDG was always shit if you were multilingual and wanted to search for something specific in that language, google always did it well but well, fuck google. Brave does it adequate at least.
Stands to reason that DDG will lose most of its users in short order. This should very negatively impact the finances of Mr. Weinberg. It probably won’t, though, and anyone who digs deep enough will probably discover who is paying this dude to destroy his own product.
They don’t care about money. If they did they wouldn’t be going this far.
