I'd be more concerned about how this would effect triage or wait lists. In addition to focusing on the medical side of things, the doctor also has to think whether he's going to get cancelled for being "unconsciously biased".

"Corrupt warlord" is kind of underselling things. He was extremely vocal in the episode about a genocide he was causing which was the reason Chase cited when confronted by either Foreman or Cameron later on.
Like that black teenager who was pushed to the back of the queue because he'd demonstrated he couldn't be trusted to take care of his new heart, was brought to the front of the queue to quell outrage, then killed himself and the heart in a high speed chase.
You think that’s a joke, but I was forced to read a study by a “hospitalist” who claimed that hidden racism was the cause of black and poor peoples pain needs not being met. Not the fact that they didn’t have anything wrong with them or were actually grifting so they could either abuse or sell the pain pills, but hidden racism because somehow poor people receive pain differently.
I used to go to a ghetto doctor after Arizona got universal Medicaid. I was using them as an easy prescription pad but not for anything addictive (my DOC is alcohol so I don't need a doctor...) Anyways, guys would roll in right off the street and harass the doctors there for pain meds. I'd argue pain meds are the cause of poor people.
My advice is just shop around ahead of time. The older doctors are more based, and you can find them. White guys don't usually actively hate their own. I mean it's possible, but the odds are better if you find yourself a white man.
That's part of the problem with western hospitals too - most doctors only really exist to try and sell you whatever garbage poison the big pharma companies are shilling that month.
