I'm not totally convinced the US isn't the one instigating it myself

Biden? Meddling in Ukraine for political gain? That would never happen, would it

The President of Ukraine is publicly saying the US is instigating it, and he is a GAE puppet.

America should just should give Ukraine all of the thousands of nuclear warheads that they took away in the 1990s, if they can't actually guarantee the security (as they did promise) in other ways.

Just do it. It used to be thousands of warheads (all transferred to Russia or decomissioned by the clueless Americans), so just give them one hundred and also the means of delivery (all strategic bombers and missile systems have also been destroyed throught the American interference). That's all, with one move the crisis will be over.

How about we restore the legitimate elected government we overthrew in 2014 after all those 'color' revolutions.

The government wasn't overthrown. Only the president fled in the night like a thief (from his private palace and with stolen money), without telling even his closest supporters (and emerged 2 days later in Moscow). After even a third of his own party's deputies have voted in the parliament to impeach him, with the rest of them generally substaining from vote.

"You won't get that billion dollars unless you do as I say."

Yes, they've done everything to uphold their own integrity, and haven't been purchased by our acting puppet in chief, his son, and his associates. As for the fleeing, I probably wouldn't want a bullet in my head either. Sounds like he at least had some survival instincts.

The story of the golden loaf (besides the golden toilets): https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2014/06/30/mystery-man-who-gave-yanukovych-a-2-kilo-gold-bread-loaf-revealed-a36862

As mentioned, the mansion later housed war refugees before being turned into a musuem, and they didn't loot or damage it too.

They didn't even trash his Mezhyhirya mansion, just toured politely gawking at the literal golden toilets (someone did steal his bizarre golden loaf of bread). It's now the Museum of Corruption. https://youtube.com/watch?v=fSZOalfBX9Q

My integrity mention was sarcasm. Even so, he was the elected president and was overthrown in another US coup. He's lucky he wasn't raped with a huge knife before being killed, or burned in a building during the anti-Russian genocides/attacks by the new people.

– SupremeReader 2 points 4 years ago +2 / -0

It was more of "EU coup" if anything. We in Poland were particularly supportive.

No one "raped with a huge knife". The most that happened was things like an Ukrainian POW having his arm chopped off because of his patriotic tattoo. There were also no "genocides" (plural?) but all ethnic Poles have been cleansed from the Russian occupied areas (without murders too, just threats and some kidnappings, beatings and mock executions - and all their property was stolen by who you apparently call "the old people").

He's also now convicted of treason and would have to serve his 13 years in prison before having any chance could return to politics again. (He's already been in prison, twice, back in the Soviet times when he was a common crim not a political one - the recidivism on assault & robbery, which was later spun by one American later-convict Paul Manafort as "he was a goodboi, he dindu nuffin".)

Sheldon needed a pardon? Who are we talking about here?

Of course Trump didn't pardon the naive patriots. His job was to pave the way for everything happening now. No small part of his job was to demonize White people and promote the global homo. "I love the blacks." "I condemn White Supremacists" "I love the faggots." (okay, that last one was paraphrased, but still...) "I want the greatest number of legal immigrants this country has ever seen!"

He practically flooded the swamp 10 feet deeper on every day of his presidency. [grabs hand, Dr Strangelove style] Okay, I'll stop, but as a famous president once said, "there's a lot of material there".

First, we're going to war. It doesn't matter what anyone's opinion is.

Second, the moment some fake moral panic is manufactured by the MSM, zoomers will flip and demand blood.

"Trans feminists afraid of being raped if Putin's Russian troops invade Ukraine".

Done.

For what it is worth, the United States does not have the manufacturing capacity for a war. The supply chain is frazzled, and so much is produced in China now.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 7 ▼
– Killroyomega 7 points 4 years ago +7 / -0

Forget manufacturing, we don't have the troops or logistical support.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that the armed forces is a day day care these days. It's all staffed by women, faggots, and diversity hires. The only ones that climb ranks are those that suck the most proverbial, or real, cock.

We lost our edge on technological superiority, we lost the majority of our foriegn "buffer zones," and now there's many countries with decent power outside our sphere of influence that may well decide to fight against us.

Iraq was a shitshow that showed just how awful our military command is. I'm not even talking about the unwinnable bullshit war itself. The retarded micromanaging, terrible operations, insane rules of engagement, etc.

We're fucked if we actually come to war with China, which is exactly what happens if we go to war with Russia.

That's why they want to push the US and the West into a war. To finish it off because of the lack of manufacturing capabilities, at least compared to what both Canada and the USA had before the original FTA was signed.

It was the actual boomers (Clinton types) that have taken away Ukraine's huge nuclear arsenal, and given it to Russia, on the retarded premise that "the cold war ended" (and there's "the new world order" estabished with "our Russian partners/friends").

Now give them just some American nuclear weapons and restore the status quo.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– Xzal 4 points 4 years ago +4 / -0

"Give them American nuclear weapons".

This is what the whole NATO Vs Russia push is about.

NATO IS PUSHING, the Ukraine border, and wants US controlled missile silos there.

Russia doesn't fancy having a NUCLEAR WEAPONS SITE on their border and does have a legal reason for claiming Ukraine still. ( People may not like it, but it's still there).

The problem is people are comparing it to other situations like Hong Kong/Beijing and still under the auspice of "my team good".

I've never seen diplomatic relations between the west and the east fall so rapidly since Biden came in.

It went from Trump having cordial meets to Biden stone walling.

You can see these photos here:

https://www.rferl.org/amp/the-destruction-of-ukraines-nuclear-arsenal/29699706.html

Also Ukraine is "the east" (and is its second largest country, at least as far as Europe counts, in addition also the largest Europe-only country generally speaking). They do have an Orthodox church, a Cyrillic alphabet, all that.

The Americans literally pushed the buttons that destroyed Ukrainian missile silos over 20 years ago. LITERALLY pushed these buttons for the demolitions, posing for photos, smiling. After paying for that, purchasing them just so they could destroy them.

Just because the fucking Americans didn't "fancy having a NUCLEAR WEAPONS SITE" anywhere in the former Soviet Union except Russia. Motherfuckers.

Anyway it was the actual Americans boomers who have disarmed Ukraine at the end of the 20th century. Before that interference Ukraine had more nuclear weapons than China and in military terms would be a global superpower today with no need of anyone's help.

Without being a glorified political puppet since the beginning of WWII Ukraine may well have come to rival Germany for regional and economic power.

Instead the people were constantly abused and wrung dry by the rubberbanding puppet administrations who advocated entirely for the interest of their masters, not Ukraine nor even America/Russia.

The US constantly pretends it does nothing wrong while in the background entirely controlling nations as glorified slave states working for bankers and industrialists.

a glorified political puppet since the beginning of WWII

Keep on reading this story. The nationalists generally turned against Stalin AND Hitler at the same time by the mid war. Some even having deserted both of their forces. (That's in addition to having had deserted from the Polish army. 1939, 1941, 1943.)

That the Germans, let's say, mismanaged the Reichskommisariat Ukraine (very Stalinist style, including keeping the kolkhoz system, confiscating food to the point of starvation, and taking people away for forced labor) was only German fault and America actually didn't "entirely control" the Nazi polices.

Other than the fact that the GAE overthrew the democratically elected Yanukovych regime and installed this one, why is this America's problem? It will only punish the GAE's European colonies who depend on Russia for gas and throw away tax dollars. It's time cut our loses, especially since the only ones at risk of losing anything are people such as Hunter Biden. Ukraine is a made up country like Belgium anyways.

"This new one" was also democratic elected (as were the previous ones after Yanuk). Not sure what is "GAE", never heard such an acronym.

Give Ukraine their nuclear weapons back, Americans. Just repair what you broke.

As for the nukes, they'll have to ask Russia nicely to replace the last ones they gave them.

The Americans have paid Ukraine to give theirs to Russia. Now your "GAE" needs to nuclearily re-arm Ukraine and let them restore their sovereignty, if American nuclear weapons can't be used for their supposed purpose (defense by deterrence) from America as apparently they're literally useless (the weapons and the Americans themselves both).

Many of the current problems in Eastern Europe were created by the GAE, as Mearsheimer rightly pointed out back in the 90s. There is no reason to continue making things worse, and there is no American interests to be served by continued meddling, outside of marching some tranny battalions into a meat grinder. May the best slav win.

As I said, just restore the military situation before the interference - this means nuclear weapons back to Ukraine. Then you may just fuck off forever. (I guess they would share them with us and the Baltics and Romania and Georgia. And then Eastern Europe would be secured by itself.)

Why can't Ukraine develop their own nuclear weapons?

Maybe we should "secretly" encourage them to do that instead of blatantly pushing NATO.

I'd support Ukraine being allowed to keep the western 2/3 of its current territory. If Russia had any inclination to do the right thing, they'd have either rescued the eastern 1/3 along with Crimea, or actually gone in and restored the legitimate elected government that 'cookies' Nuland help overthrow.

My question: is Ukraine considered a US ally or part of NATO?

If we did pledge support to them, then we really need to make due on that promise after Afghanistan. I can see the US becoming isolated because no country in their right mind would trust us after abandoning 2 countries to the wolves in one presidential term.
