I pirated this out of morbid curiosity. Couldn't finish it. Total fucking garbage. Slow, plodding, shit CGI. Shit characters. Shit action sequences. Shit all over.

Think about it, Act 1 is all about comparing themselves to the Matrix. How they don't want to make a sequel to spamming comparisons of the current terrible scene compared to the superior original. They pass it off as "meta", but in film making on the nose meta is found in the comedy genre.
Second Act 2 sort of repeats itself. Neo fights a blackman and relearns telekinesis. A half hour later and for a absolutely no reason Neo fights Smith and relearns telekinesis. The city of IO is just one huge trans metaphor, synthetics live among us and qe have strawberry cake. We're at peace... Except they are still hiding and just how many people are sacrificed to the Matrix to power their weather or preference for a halogram door?
Instead of fixing the bodies are power to brains are software, they doubled down on thermal energy with an even stupider approach. Instead of peak human culture we got the trans pursuit of never actually getting what you want. Instead of cool slow mo we have a glitchy frame rate. Instead of cool composed and in control white man, we got a raving lunatic French-focused Merovingian. Instead of a hero we got a cuckolded Keanu Reeves. Instead of a badass heroin, we got a women forced to choose between family and profession or criminal rebal life. Instead of system Agents we got Twitter mode. Instead of a big end fight we got suicide bombers. Even the big bad goes full sexist out of nowhere just so a women can snap her fingers at him while verbally and physically abusing him. Sigh
But Trinity can fly now, and Neo can’t! Isn’t that great? And Neo never really mattered, only the two of them did. Although that wasn’t true in any of the other films…
