OSHA is now really trying to implement that Biden mandatory COVID vaccine rule now (archive.is)

No surprise, OSHA already showed their true, bureaucratic face earlier in the year when they opted to allow employers forego recording vaccine related injuries for at least 1 year.

I'll probably not seek a religious exception if they are successful and it's not stayed by lawsuits. Not sure if they require regular testing as an alternative, but leaning heavily towards "no".

Go for the religious exemption, that is going to be a win/win for companies as a temporary way to 'skirt' the rule without paying the fine until this gets challenged in court.

Any reason why you wouldn't want to?

It's begging for permission to have bodily autonomy. Correct response to "are you vaccinated because we need everyone at our company to be vaccinated?" is "that is my private medical information that you have no right to request."

I agree, however look at it from the companies perspective.

It is an easy out for both sides, and doesn't put them in a shitty position of having to choose.

I'd say if you are in a relatively small company right around 100 people it would be difficult to make them choose, if you work for a major Fortune 500 company then fuck em they can stick it up there ass.

People taking an easy out around the rules lets the rules stay in place. I say, burn the whole thing down with blatant defiance.

"are you vaccinated because we need everyone at our company to be vaccinated?"

"Maybe . . . maybe not . . . maybe go fuck yourself!"

Not interested in continuing to play games, it's condescending. It's a Fortune 500 company - a massive one, you guys would give me a lot of shit if I mentioned the name - and I kept my mouth shut when they sprung a diversity lecture on us in the past.

Plus, I'm looking to move closer to family, unfortunately in yet another super liberal state...

But I don't do threats, so I'll keep my options / mind open. I do like the idea of throwing my hat into any permitted class action lawsuit based on principle (payout would be zilch), which would be more likely with religious exemption, but there are already enough reasons to leave so IDK.

Now I'm curious which one it is. I know a number of people that work at F500 companies (excluding my coworkers) and I don't give them shit...

My strategy is the agree & delay forever:

"Everyone needs vaccination"

Okay

"Did you get it?"

Yep sure did

"Where's your proof?"

I'm waiting for my copy

"Can you get it to us by Monday?"

Sure

"Hey where's your vax card?"

You said Monday

"It is Monday."

Oh I thought you meant this monday, not next monday

"Ugh, just get it to us by next week."

Sure thing

Etc. etc. etc.

Pop Quiz:

What happens when you make it mandatory that unvaccinated people get tested for a virus where the majority of people are asymptomatic, while simultaneously exempting those who've been vaccinated, but who can similarly be infected by, and facilitate the transmission of, the virus, just the same?

Answer: You get a narrative.

Make no mistake. The whole point of this is to reinforce their narrative that people who don't wish to be forced and coerced into participating in a disgusting large-scale pharmaceutical company experiment for a biological agent that we have absolutely zero conclusive evidence of what the long-term effects may be — which can take years to manifest — are "filthy and diseased vermin."
it will be used against us later in order to enact much stricter measures and isolate us from society.
Let's say, around the time of mid-term elections, perhaps?
Who can't see it happening now?
"If you're not vaccinated, you will not be eligible for voting in person at your local election site. You must participate by mail-in ballot," which, coincidentally enough, will probably never arrive if your party designation doesn't align with what they want.
Go ahead, screenshot this and tuck it away for later. This will happen.
In the end, this isn't about "Health & Safety™" as the so frenetically pretend it to be. The end goal of this is the same exact goal that it always ends up being when it involves Democrats: Power and Control.
This isn't a "prediction" — it's a guarantee.
If people don't start taking this shit much more seriously and realizing that they're not just being petty and vindictive but that there are actual objectives they're attempting to achieve involved as well, then we're seriously screwed.
I'd bet money that, for the majority of people, this thought never even crossed their mind.

Funny thing is that I have a minimal risk solution that I'm around 95% sure will solve this and get rid of mandates for good — which I'm also completely confident about the efficacy of working if the message was spread widely enough. The problem is that I don't have any platform and get the message out and spread it.
In order for it to work, it takes the cooperation of people doing some very simple things — but it would make this go away in no time.
It's exceedingly frustrating to know what to do and be completely helpless to execute it.

The judiciary shat on the constitution and walked away over a hundred years ago, the only thing they deserve is the completely legal practice of curettage.

The article was somewhat discombobulated by archive so here's the original - https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/osha-submits-vaccine-rule-to-the-office-of-management-and-budget-jump-starting-review-process/ar-AAPrfJ4

No link to the OSHA wording or any documentation.

The actual OSHA wording still won't be visible until it gets put in the Federal Register after it passes OMB according to lawyer Robert Barnes

As many entities have said, until the actual regulatory wording is known, no legal pushback can be mounted.

At this point I think the Xiden regime is afraid to release any such regulation knowing the mountain of lawsuits which will immediately be filed. They're stalling. They've had more than a month and crickets are chirping.

At this point the regulation is still smoke and mirrors without substance.

The original source for this article is CNN sooo...

With the latest news that over 4 million people resigned in August, and the WHs desperate attempts to talk about covid vaccinations over the border, the economy/shortages and Afghanistan, I wonder if they're just paralyzed.

I mean it's equally likely that setting fire to their own house and watching it burn was their plan, but I can't help but think that they didn't expect this massive cascade of problems all at once within a rough 6 month window. Now it's just gotten so out of control that they've just decided to not fight the inevitable and curl up in a ball and hide.

It's kind of felt that way ever since Biden had that vacation and Psaki screwed off to God knows where right when Afghanistan fell. More than usual, I mean.

That reminded me of the collapse of the soviet union when in Moscow the TV began to play Swan Lake in a continuous loop for three days, and when it stopped the government went AWOL and was gone. "My Perestroika" - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1557720/

The Afghan episode really scared me; the US government went AWOL. I've never seen that happen before.

A lot of people like to compare the current situation to the fall of the Roman Republic, but I feel like this is the end of the Empire. The question now, is whether we will be consumed like the Western Empire or fracture and continue to bear the torch as the Eastern Empire.

I'd say this whole presidency.. I'm worried ngl, from Biden having handlers and saying he'll get in trouble if he answers questions, to them going AWOL right when a president needs to take action.. It's like there's no one actually running things and the federal government is the equivalent of a headless chicken, and simultaneously there's a secret cabal of politicians and bureaucrats """"running""" everything from behind the scenes.

I don't know which should worry me more. Both have awful implications and clearly have awful results regardless of whether it's one, the other, or both of those.

And to think we aren't even through the first year.
