The left has always been controlled by international capital. They have been actively subverted for a long time. Occupy Wall Street got distracted by pronouns. The CIA spread Marcuse and probably introduced drugs to the hippies when they noticed some real problems. One would think a bunch of violent anti-capitalists would want to target the Fed and banks, but the antifags just drive down property values for corporate real estate acquisitions.
What most people remember from OWS is the "we are the 99%" crap, but even that wasn't part of the original message.
Interesting how both OWS and the Tea Party movement started with exactly the same goal (opposing bailouts), and both were quickly derailed into irrelevancy after becoming umbrella movements for every political issue under the sun.

If I did, there's only two places I'd consider. One is the mexican mormon colony down there, basically a little slice of America, or the state of Michoacan where a bunch of cities have formed citizen militias to fight the cartels.
