So how many of you actually want the United States to breakdown, and how do you imagine it happening? (media.kotakuinaction2.win)

The federal government has become too powerful. Regions with completely different realities on the ground are competing to install nationwide solutions. I don't know how you fix that without decentralizing power, and I don't know how you reduce a central governments power without its collapse. We had a pretty good blueprint, but when the fed began to ignore the 9th and 10th amendments completely, we were set on the path of ungovernability.

Want it? No. Think it’s inevitable because the leftists will never stop? Yes. As for how it goes down texas would be the first probably with a quickly followed suspension of voting rights for all non residents there for less than 5 years. The middle of the country will slowly follow isolating the coasts from each other with no small amount of conflict between the few blue voting states mixed in then Alaska will secede as their main industries will be under major attack prolly invade and take over a chunk of Canada to be able to trade with the other seceded states. After a while the states that seceded will probably reform into a new union governement most likely based on the original ideas for the republic. Assuming China or Russia don’t invade immediately after more than one state has declared secession.

They're very welcome to join us, we need the backup to hold off the Boise infestation.

The other Gothmog, famous in the Peter Jackson adaptation for being the ugliest motherfucker on Arda.

Also famous for such quotes, which are definitely not relevant to this conversation, as "Move into the city. Kill all in your path."

Canada has traditionally and historically had its OWN religional-rivalry issues that have been slowly wallpapered over by the introduction of mass immigration and "multiculturalism" as official policy since the PET era.

It is not unthinkable to older generations for Confederation to break down because of regional differences, with Quebec being the first to go, which would trigger the Atlantic provinces to separate and re-amalgamate (and/or join the US), and the Western provinces/BC would be next. The North would just say "fuck you, whites OUT."

And yeah, I read those Cold War thriller books by that army guy whose name I can't remember at the moment. 30-40 years ago ...

No, no, no. Canadian. Ex-General, I think. I'm still searching for his name, but Separation is the only book I can think of from him at the moment, though I know I read several. Basically, what-if stories from a Canadian perspective of the period. And that was one of his later books, iirc. I think most of his stuff was written between the late 60s to the 90s, and I'm pretty sure he passed away quite a while ago now. But the search engines are not being my friends

Not sure how Alaska could possibly invade Canada. Much more likely to petition to become an autonomous Canadian provence.

Ask politely, and then showcase a lack of default-authoritarianism in your own politics, and I bet you'd get a good half of Canada without firing a single shot. Alaskanada would be formed overnight.

I’m not sure how many Alaskans you’ve met but every singe one I’ve met would most likely hang a leader that suggested becoming a part of Canada.

I don't think anyone here actually wants America to break down, even the people who think they want it to collapse. Imperial collapses are horrifying things to live through so American loyalists should do what is in their power to prevent it.

The left can be beaten. Just not with Neocons. Get rid of them and you are on the right path. Remember, no matter how powerful they seem, the left goes to absolute pieces at the slightest bit of resistance. Because when they're up against someone they can't shame, they lose half their power.

There's not nearly that many of them, not even vaguely close. If it's in the millions it's less than ten.

A core part of communistic strategy is to make themselves seem more numerous than they actually are. They work by intimidation, and numbers are intimidating, hence they misconstrue their weak numbers.

However there's a bit of a distinction to make here. There are the real agenda-driven communists that do in fact need to be addressed, then there's simply groups of people who are complicit with their actions and agenda for reasons of personal weakness or ignorance.

Some good examples are the retarded monkies who chimp out at """""""""""peaceful protests""""""""""" because they get to loot free shit, exactly as mindless and instinctual as a shark smelling blood in the water. Then there's people in the school systems who are complicit only for job security. Then there's the ones, and I have a personal example of this one since my sister is one, who lap up the bullshit and follow the ideology like a trend, but when push comes to shove they'll fall in line because they're really just weak willed people who are susceptible to peer pressure.

These aren't the people you would have to worry about in a political reformation. The ones you would are exceedingly fewer than you estimate. Remember how antifa has to road trip around the country to spur on riots? If they were nearly as numerous as you thought that wouldn't be the case, the whole country would be in a chronic state like Portland is, more or less.

It's funny to me how animal like and instinctual communists are in their macro behaviors. Making yourself seem bigger, scarier or more numerous is a classic animalistic strategy. And just like with animals, you trigger the right instinct in them and you can get them to scatter and flee instantly.

No solution is actually a solution until it actually figures out what to do about the 50-60 million communists that the Left was able to breed inside our borders with their education system. They're here now, and something has to be done about them to where they are no longer able to exert any political power over the rest of us.

That one's easy.

Turn them out the institutions because they are politically biased against America and actively seeking to undermine it. In particular take the schools via enforcing a patriotic curriculum and unceremoniously booting out those who won't teach it.

Take the schools and the bastards can't replenish the ranks and eventually whittle away into nothing.

This is not always the case. Pakistan and India split with relatively little horror. The Czech Republic and Slovakia split with little trouble. Austria and Hungary split peacefully.

It only has to be horrible if one side or the other is unwilling to let go. If we had a velvet divorce, it would be annoying for most and existentially difficult for many, but we'd be ok.

Uhh...no...my god, that was a horror show. Muslims and Hindus killed each other in the streets as suddenly significant amounts of them were on the wrong side of the border.

There wasn't a big-ass war the way there could have been. But I did downplay it more than I meant. I actually have several friends both Muslim and Hindu whose families were caught up in it.

No I want the Constitution to be implemented as written. The federal government limited to the basic functions of common defense, printing a federal currency tied to gold reserves, and settling disputes between states.

None of this crap where the federal regulations and courts get to override state laws when they feel like it, or the commerce clause applies to activity that takes place entirely within the borders of a state.

I'm not sure republicanism can work at this level of complexity and naturally deteriorates into some form of oligarchy. The gains for corruption are just so high that any reasonable punishment for being caught can't possibly be a deterrent.

It's not even a Left/Right thing. I just don't think having nations this large and powerful are good for their own citizens.

Yeah, and there is a solution to that: federalism and subsidiarity.

Federalism: The majority of the power lies within the states. Federal government is mostly hands off on what the states do. The states act like loosely affiliated countries.

Subsidiarity: Within the states, the majority of power lies within the cities/towns/municipalities.

Yeah that's what we had but they managed to "progressively" errode it over time because Tocqueville was right.

The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money

And he was right because Adam's was right

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

Since we are not longer moral or religious in the major population centers, those who still are have no choice but to either live under secular tyranny or separate from them entirely

I don't want America to break, per say.

But if it does, a coalition of the midwest of Ohio through Wisconsin and Iowa, Texas Oklahoma through the Dakotas, Minnesota can presently figure it's own thing out. The south can make its Confederacy, colorado and Arizonia and Utah . A declaration of a return, and an open invitation to leave, free passage out. And then expel anyone who thinks of Marxism and BLM and stuff as that.

The left and more specifically the money and military supporting the left won't let it happen, it'll be full on 'military police action' the second a state says "fuck off we're on our own" and they'll use the military plus the UN to bring them back into the fold, most through assassinations of leaders and figure heads by spec-ops, which will cause infighting and fracturing of the groups in the state then they can justify rolling in tanks and planes to get rid of the "terrorist elements". You think the left went wild and used Jan 6th to its full limits, just wait until something like succession happens and what it'll allow those puppeting Biden to do. Look up what illegal and unconstitutional shit Lincoln did during the war and quadruple it WITHOUT the mostly giving back power part. There's reasons they're currently purging conservatives and Libertarians from the military and this is one of them, Waco's for everyone but this time it's drone strikes.
