Not sure how Alaska could possibly invade Canada. Much more likely to petition to become an autonomous Canadian provence.
Ask politely, and then showcase a lack of default-authoritarianism in your own politics, and I bet you'd get a good half of Canada without firing a single shot. Alaskanada would be formed overnight.
I’m not sure how many Alaskans you’ve met but every singe one I’ve met would most likely hang a leader that suggested becoming a part of Canada.
Things change when your kids start going hungry. Can Alaska stand on its own? Would they join Califoniastan?
