Gross.

Looked at a sub from my hometown. There was a thread about islamic caterwauling, which didn't exist when I left in 1998. There were words like "wholesome" in the replies.

Up until about the early 80s, the air used to be filled with the sound of church bells. The first to go were the bells at midnight on New Year's and Christmas Eve. Shift work town, people need to sleep. Even if it's a stat and there's no Sunday shopping and everything is mandatorily closed and no one needs to get up for work on Christmas or New Year's. Nope.

Then the Sunday and Wednesday afternoon bells sort of faded away. I don't recall hearing bells pretty much anywhere on my subsequent travels on Sundays, anywhere, anymore. Maybe I just don't notice, that ol' selective hearing and all. Why? Noise bylaws, probably.

Yet the same people dripping "wholesome" about some muslim wailing worse than a cat in heat, are probably the same people who would bitch about church bells on New Year's Eve.

I hate that city. Glad I left. Wish I had been born elsewhere as pretty much any other species.

Another Pope Urban, and ever man from Hispanola with the last name Martel should be naming their next boy Charles, just in case.

How quintessential Portuguese.

How big an issue is this though, a search tells me that there are 0.4% Muslims in Portugal. Looking at other countries I can see that Romania is at 0.65%, Hungary 0.50% and Germany is 5.7% (which is insane considering the population of Germany - is almost the entire population of Ireland, New Zeeland or Croatia).

Or are this more feverous Muslims? I assume central or eastern Europe has mostly Turks.

Don't believe those numbers. Portugal has been giving the nationality at a rithm of more than hundred thousand a year! The Iman from the Lisbon Mosque says there about 120 000 Muslims in Portugal, about 1.2% of the population. But I think it is too low, because we have about 700000 legalized immigrants in the territory right now and many came from Pakistan, Bangladesh and India.

Why though? Why in the world is Portugal so keen on immigration? Is this a trend of the ruling class?

For the life of me I can't understand why you would not bring immigrants from Brazil or other parts of Europe. Portugal is relatively small, how big can the demand for immigration be over there?

Is bizarre that having so many countries with similar religion and culture (I assume here that a lot of South American culture has similarities with Spain and Portugal) you would bring in people from countries with a total different culture, history, language and religion. I can only assume malice as no other logical reason is to be found.

Feminism -> collapsing birth rates -> lack of future funding for their welfare states

What do you do? Even if their birthrate jumped up to african nation's rates tomorrow, it's still going to be 20 years before they start contributing to the tax base.

Cut welfare? Enjoy your riots. Tax more? More people decide to just stop working and help themselves to the dole. Inflate the currency? You're just moving the timeline, not stopping fate.

The collapse of empires never happens at an instant, but stretched out for many years.

Poland is funding young Polish families to have more children.

I don't see how importing refugees who barely speak the language and will have difficulty integrating into the culture will increase tax receipts. In fact in Germany they are taking welfare.

I understand that, I do not understand why they get immigrants from Pakistan or India when you can get immigrants from Brazil, Christians that speak the freaking same language.

Is the equivalent of Brits moving to US.

It's enough to start making people wondering if it's really not a (((globalist))) conspiracy to destroy the West.

I'm sure it's not that simple, but at the very least it's a symptom of our disgusting post-modernist globalist culture suiciding itself. In the US where it started, progressives put the "Huddled masses yearning to breathe free" on the statue and we were programmed to believe "diversity is our strength" and accept all immigrants. And it seems fine to believe America is somehow special as a multi-ethnic nation until you look at the demographics of the UK, France, Sweden, and Germany and realize they're pulling that same shit in European ethnostates. And then you see they're trying to do the same thing in Japan, where yes they have a population problem but even though they could encourage Japanese people to have more children and improve things with automation you still have people telling them they need to import more uneducated foreigners and "refugees". Not just Japanese businesses, but foreign investment groups and professional journals telling them they will be better off if their population becomes "less Japanese".

It makes little sense unless you imagine it as some kind of coordinated global effort. But that would be crazy talk.

They probably see the writing on the wall.

Ecological collapse will make equatorial nations uninhabitable. Coming resource wars. Increasing cost of energy. Collapsing economies. Water shortage.

Low IQ populations incapable of creating their own functioning societies watching western nations over the internet and worshipping it like some sort of promised land.

The masses are coming. You have seen nothing yet. And I bet you that view is pretty clear from the top. So what should they do? Either they stop immigration and deport - but that would go against the narrative, and feminists would never agree and they are very much part of the power structure. Or they prime and prepare for what's coming, some last ditch doomed to failed attemt at social engineering, trying desperatly to brainwash people into accepting the destruction and subversion of their cultures, way of life, political and social systems, values and norms, ideals and aspirations. They're trying to make you love and revere and fear the low IQ masses who are about to flood your land in a deperate play hoping that a stable enough society can emerge. Because they know that unless forced by a narrative, if left free to your own will, you will never accept them or their ways, you need to be brainwashed. But the brainwashing isn't taking. Beucase they are fundamentally wrong in their assumtions. Humans are not social constructs. Nothing is. Everything has a rime and reason. They're failing, and they're getting nervous, and they're doubling down.

In a decade or two you're going to be attacked for saying it's crazy that we're about to elect islamists to power, "What's wrong with muslims being involved in the political process, you racist?". By the same people who today will tell you that "omg, are you serious, this will never happen, you paranoid idiot".

The census for my local area will tell you less than 5% are POC yet you go to any public place and over 50% are POC. We have mosques springing up everywhere for a supposedly small muslim population. When I take the bus I will often be the only white person. My gym is nearly 90% POC. Where I work is 50% or more Indians , yet they still insist they need more diversity.

Official statistics are bullshit. I doubt the England is even a majority Anglo Saxon country anymore.

Same is probably true for Portugal.

I'd like to take this opportunity to make this a visual reminder to you that as with Spain, Italy, Germany, Chile, Greece, Argentina, and others:

Right-wing authoritarianism won't stop Leftism, it stalls it, then gives it a green light to take power. Leftism can only be broken by breaking the concentrations of power that are targeted. An authoritarian system invites a conquest of Leftism. Portugal is no different.

You don't stab the beast, you starve it.

Take power in smaller portions, dissolve the institutions under you.

A strong-man avatar is actually an excellent weapon for eliminating government power. Support from other institutions can come from also rewarding other 'strong-man avatars' of other systems. Don't accept external institutional controls like corporate donations. Only work with individuals that others have to work through.

We need anti-parallel institutions based off of individualism and not collectivism and assembly. If you promote a libertarian approach to government, you'll effectively get individual avatars/weapons acting off of private interests to destroy public-sector institutional controls and methods. You also need to burn the system down underneath you and utterly replace it.

Every step of the way, promote individualism and your anti-parallel institutions. Make an effort to supplant and destroy previous institutions, and rig the public collectivist institutional systems against itself. For example, create mandatory sun-set clauses on all laws. Promote "reorganization through streamlining and reform" where you concentrate multiple bureaucracies into single bureaucracies, slashing the scope, cutting 80% of of the population, and cutting the budget. Use the budget cuts to then re-disseminate funds back to the tax payers as a "reallocation from government waste". Set laws that make the government constantly have to fight itself for any expanded jurisdiction.

If you really want to fuck the government system, end taxation. Promote full funding from either a for-profit government (given the assets it has), or through the purchasing of government bonds where the state is liable to it's investors. Again, sales only to individual constituents, not to everyone or abstract legal constructs.

This is sad to see. I never saw one muslim in the islands when I was last there. Christianity is still a focal point to the community. Never been to the mainland but looking at this I see no reason to.
