I remember going into a restaurant to pick up our dinner order for the family and i begrudgingly put on a mask and when i went in not a single person behind the counter was wearing one and they were all smiling, then i felt like the asshole. Maybe they try to change that at some point, but I suspect that given the clusterfuck that vaccine logistics were in the early days that some people who were vaccinated back in December and January won't show up in computer systems to be able to get a passport.

Didn't make a lot of sense to me at the time, since they were far more stringent in their requirements for getting one than a drivers' license.
The only place I've been to that actually scans a license is Bevmo, and I don't think those barcodes have much in the way of security features to actually ensure they're generated by a state government.
