Our economy is going to be completely fucked. They want to pause everything while at the same time accelerating all this nonsense.

lapalapa 20 points ago +20 / -0

Time to buy BTC.

exilde 7 points ago +7 / -0

On one hand, yes. On the other, Dogecoin is worth a penny.

lapalapa 6 points ago +6 / -0

Bitcoin has almost doubled in value since a month ago. it's going to keep rising as bad news in the USA keep developing.

exilde 10 points ago +10 / -0

Dogecoin is a penny.

Regardless of your opinion on the future of crypto, only irrational exuberance discounts a bubble here.

lapalapa 1 point ago +1 / -0

You do you, buddy. I have less trust in the USD now.

exilde 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'll buy back in around 7-10k, but it's pretty classic mania. As little trust as I have in the USD, the zombie trudges on, and will continue to for awhile.

Grumman 6 points ago +7 / -1

Time to sell Bitcoin. Bitcoin belongs to the CCP - the mining is all done on Chinese hardware at Chinese power plants. China's already been exploiting COVID as cover to destroy Hong Kong, and with Biden in the White House they're probably going to do the same to Bitcoin.

ShadistIsACuck 3 points ago +3 / -0

The tether shit is going to fuck the market sooner or later

TheBubba 2 points ago +2 / -0

I've been saying Bitcoin is shit for this reason among others. I'm a huge crypto believer, but it has to be a crypto that is truly decentralized. No way I'm trusting anything that's concentrated in China (or concentrated anywhere). Seeing how easy it is for companies to be compromised by SJWs I don't trust any concentration for something like a global monetary system.

It's a shame that bitcoin became the go to crypto simply because it was first.

lapalapa 1 point ago +1 / -0

The CCP doesn't have 51% of Bitcoin's computing power.

Grumman 1 point ago +1 / -0

They have over 70%. That the hardware doesn't belong to them is a legal fiction that will be swept aside when the totalitarian communist dictatorship arrests the owners for money laundering and confiscates their stuff.

lapalapa 1 point ago +1 / -0

You may have a point.

TheImpossible1 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because they totally don't know people are doing that.

lapalapa 1 point ago +1 / -0

You'd be safer from USD inflation.

NihilistCaregiver 7 points ago +10 / -3

Total opposite. Stock markets and housing markets will probably do incredibly well in the next few years because anything else would make them look bad.

It's like all the people who said Twitter would literally die off after they banned Trump... does not work that way.

onetruephilosoraptor [S] 36 points ago +36 / -0

They will push MMT policies.

MMT policies are unsustainable and they will result in massive hyperinflation.

The economy will be fucked.

There is no way to go full money printer go brrr and not face the consequences.

They can prop up the stock market for a little while but it will still pop.

The housing market will undoubtedly get demolished under Biden/Harris.

Wizardslayer 4 points ago +4 / -0

The time to buy real estate is now. The housing market is going to go nuts once another round of subprime mortgaging starts. Just need to dump all the property you got before the inevitable collapse in 6 years.

the_nybbler 4 points ago +6 / -2

Even Biden isn't dumb enough to do MMT. Certainly Yellen isn't.

NihilistCaregiver 4 points ago +9 / -5

The US uses its superpower status to support the inflation. The warhawks in Biden's cabinet will have some role in asserting US dominance to back up the dollar.

I'm not saying this to defend Biden.. I just have a hard time believing doom and gloom stories about the economy tanking just because Democrats are running things.

onetruephilosoraptor [S] 47 points ago +47 / -0

The Democrats of today are not behaving like they did in 2008 or 2012.

That is the problem.

They have gone full tilt on crushing opposition, pushing their woke religion and forcing all of their policies through.

You won't get Obama's third term.

This will be something far worse.

Look at Biden's Cabinet picks and compare it to Obama 08 and Obama 12.

You are vastly underestimating what is coming.

NihilistCaregiver 16 points ago +16 / -0

You are vastly underestimating what is coming.

Probably. If things get bad.. they get bad.. it's not like people in the US can escape anywhere. Cubans fleeing communism just had to make it to Miami.

70 million Trump voters have nowhere to go.

fisterbot92 16 points ago +17 / -1

Except to war or the gulags

Knight1_of_Sunset 5 points ago +5 / -0

Except to war

The commies should be very careful on what they wish for.

TheImpossible1 11 points ago +11 / -0

Biden's picks

Harris' picks.

realerfunction 15 points ago +16 / -1

not even. there's someone controlling the both of them.

xleb2 1 point ago +1 / -0

current_horror 29 points ago +29 / -0

These people aren't democrats. They're globalist communists. They think redistributing America's quality of life to the third world is their sacred duty.

Unknownsailor 6 points ago +6 / -0

There is a term for international communists already: comintern, short for communist international. Soviet Union controlled organization that advocated for world communism.

Our grandparents knew the term, its time we know it too.

Dereliction 4 points ago +4 / -0

Isn't the modern incarnation, "Globalist?"

deleted 12 points ago +12 / -0
Unknownsailor 4 points ago +4 / -0

Look at it this way: Those trannies and fat black ladies will be our opposition in the upcoming festivities.

Is MMT "Modern Monetary Theory"? It is the only definition I see that makes sense in context.

mikeman20 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wizardslayer 11 points ago +11 / -0

Biden already said they're going to incentivize giving mortgages to everyone again. It is going be the housing boom/bubble all over again.

TheImpossible1 7 points ago +7 / -0

Hmmm, fudging the numbers like Chyna. Interesting theory.

JustHereForTheSalmon 1 point ago +1 / -0

They'll do the same kind of fuckery that had Clinton "balance the budget."

Spoiler: it was smoke and mirrors. Accounting tricks "balanced the budget", not actually balancing spending & taxes.

Veritas, the soviet newspaper, would talk about record harvests made possible only by the grit of comrades that were using state-techniques for farming. The people standing in line to the state food market would read this, then finally make it inside and see bare shelves.

Housing market will be "great" but no one is buying or selling. Stock market will be "great" and hitting new records but there will be equal new records in the price of essentials like gas, food, etc.

NihilistCaregiver 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes exactly. Even if it's all a charade, the markets won't crash or fail.. unless they can definitively prove it on Trump, but even then the mainstream would ask why Biden didn't stop the bleed when he could have.

That charade is not just about optics for politics either. The entire nation functions on the notion of stability.. that each day is no different than the last.. which is what allows interest-earning monetary functions to exist, and this is what fuels the government to give a shit.

The purpose of power is to get more power, but without money there is not much power to be had. The democrats like power, and therefore need there to be money.

Somewhere in Beijing there's an analyst laughing at us right now.

onetruephilosoraptor [S] 20 points ago +20 / -0

They wanted this stupidity pushed in the U.S. and they funded it and got it to happen.

current_horror 22 points ago +22 / -0

This began long before China was even a player.

onetruephilosoraptor [S] 15 points ago +15 / -0

I agree with you on that.

Nowadays China is just one group out of many funding them and pushing division to weaken the U.S.

Unknownsailor 12 points ago +12 / -0

Considering that Biden is bought and paid for by CCP money, the premier of Chinese Communist Party is laughing at us. He knows that Biden is going to bring back the same globalist policies that asset stripped middle America for 30 years.

That is the real reason establishment Washington D.C. was so angry at Trump, he was determined to derail the corruption and graft everyone was getting from the global elite.

MargarineMongoose 24 points ago +24 / -0

I swear the government is declaring economic war on white men. I'm sick of this shit. Who do I gotta fist fight to make this shit stop?

Unknownsailor 15 points ago +16 / -1

Do what I am doing: raise your middle finger to the leeches, and refuse to produce. Find a way to live on taxable income that is below the standard deduction on income taxes.

The entire world runs on the backs of White America. It is time to go on strike.

lolfail9001 9 points ago +17 / -8

Here's a black pill: nobody. Without surviving at least a decade or two of proper commie misery, you won't have enough people who will value freedom you (in most generic sense) gave up so easily now.

In best case scenario, after that decade your people might realize this sucks.

In worst case, everyone who could wake up and act will get disarmed by that time and it will extend your "good" times by another few decades.

Good luck folks, all signs tell me you will need it very much

onetruephilosoraptor [S] 22 points ago +26 / -4

Your "blackpill" is just unnecessary demoralization. This kind of soul crushing shit is the message they want to push on the public.

At the speed things are accelerating, decades are far too large of a unit of measure.

Things will be decided much sooner.

Also, what makes you think you too won't be suffering in these horrific conditions.

Globalism is everywhere. Where is a place you could live in that is immune to this?

Knight1_of_Sunset 4 points ago +5 / -1

At the speed things are accelerating, decades are far too large of a unit of measure.

Agreed, especially if the commies are absolutely serious about pushing their insane policies so quickly and it's not just talk.

They are turning up the heat on the pot too high, too fast and the frogs are absolutely going to jump out like crazy. This is their fatal mistake and I hope it will crush them big time once the chips are down.

current_horror 9 points ago +9 / -0

There's a preference cascade coming. The moment a critical mass of white people decide that they don't give a flying fuck about being called racist, things will begin to move very quickly.

cccpneveragain 2 points ago +2 / -0

I used to think the same thing that it might be a decade of shit first. But a lot of that is based on history and the type of revolution needed to fix this historically has taken time to get enough support.

What's different here is how crazy they are pushing things. I expected a year or two of quiet scheming to let things calm down while they use that time and their propaganda to convince more people that it's all going to be ok under their rule. Sort of like how Bezmenov talked about normalization. They seemed to totally skip that. Instead they've got a huge population of agitated people that they aren't trying to calm down but agitate more.

I still think the turnaround will be slower than most of us expect, but not something people will put up with for decades.

lolfail9001 -8 points ago +6 / -14

Your "blackpill" is just unnecessary demoralization.

If you (once again, generic) can be affected by demoralization this shallow, you just confirm my point that you lack the will.

At the speed things are accelerating, decades are far too large of a unit of measure.

History knows examples of accelerations like that and people were still willing to put up with it for a decade before taking action. I guess the good thing for US is that there is no external force on this rock strong enough to suppress it's internal turmoil outside of direct participation in World War. Another good thing is that unlike previous examples, this is somewhat new for most living Americans, so you guys might put up with it a bit less time.

Also, what makes you think you too won't be suffering in these horrific conditions.

To start with, my own living conditions by American standards are barely superior to those of homeless. There's no way down for me beyond my own government going full commie again. Which is not impossible, but still seems somewhat unlikely.

Where is a place you could live in that is immune to this?

Nowhere, but as i said before, my standard of living is already low.

onetruephilosoraptor [S] 13 points ago +13 / -0

Sorry to hear about your current living conditions.

Demoralization and blackpills won't help any of us improve the current state of things.

History shows us that no totalitarian regime can rule permanently.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best is all one can do.

exilde 4 points ago +4 / -0

There's no who. The most important thing is to remember the most corrosive elements of our old society, and those who propagate it, when we reconstitute our methods of government. This nation is likely to dissolve. I think it's prudent to consider the possibility.

TheImpossible1 -3 points ago +1 / -4

Nobody, fedpost shit won't do anything. What we have to do is cripple their machine.

They want equality so badly, we should all go on strike.

Either they'll take our place and kill us off or the world will fall apart and they'll fall with it.

The problem of course is getting the numbers. It'll get easier the more they hurt the economy.

onetruephilosoraptor [S] 22 points ago +22 / -0

Well what did we expect anyway?

Everything is going to be fucked beyond belief.

the_nybbler 11 points ago +11 / -0

Aside from that being meaningless word salad along the lines of "constructing a building around the music note C-flat", there's one burning question it raises:

Is it better to invest in precious metals, or canned food and ammo?

almond_activator 7 points ago +7 / -0

Precious metals will get you as far as consent. You'll survive as long as there isn't severe scarcity.

Food, water, and ammo will carry you as far as your morals will allow when, not if, severe scarcity rears its ugly head.

Buy both, but remember: scarcity applies to food, water purification, and ammo. It'll be gone long before the rest of the world realizes they need to buy it.

A2BS 1 point ago +1 / -0

That wordsalad sounds like a cool architectural project for those who know a lot about soundwaves and the sort, it's more like "planning a military invasion where we try to maximize successful backflips by our soldiers". You can hit your stupid goal, but doing so will almost exclusively lead to everyone dying.
