I follow a mod for HOI4 that's set in a 1960s America which slides into civil war & lurk on their server. The devteam is unabashedly far-left, even after they got rid of the original team lead (who incidentally was the founder of CHAZ) for being too openly crazy to the point of making the rest of them look bad, and flaunt the thought of burning down suburbia making their feminine penises hard - to the point that a focus icon showing exactly that was a emote on said Discord server for a while.
For the longest time I didn't quite get why they hated suburbs so much (I'm not American and don't specialize in post-1960 social developments in the States), and chalked it up to being some old leftist meme or an injoke among the devs, but this has given me the answer. Jives well with their expressed attitudes about white people in general, even if they have toned the mood (and especially the bizarre fetishisation of non-whites, particularly urban blacks) down significantly since they gave the old lead dev the boot. Like other ethno-masochists (damn I have to use that word a lot more) they just can't stand the thought of those evil settlers getting to lead happy, non-totally-destroyed and even somewhat fulfilling lives anywhere.
White people live in the suburbs and waste hours commuting to the city because despite all the jobs being in the city, it's unsafe for whites to live there unless they have the kind of money that'll let them live in a tower with round the clock security, or some other similiarly inaccessible-to-break-ins type place.
A nice read, although the author could have been more succinct. I do like the term "vibrants" for ethnic minorities.
The way I would say it is that America stopped creating organic entertainment and culture, everything made comes with an agenda to influence people in some distinct way. Either to make people buy more, or to push their beliefs in some direction.
Japan largely hasn't created entertainment like that. Many creators make what they want to make for their own sake, and because they live in a quite homogeneous society that means they are able to satisfy a large audience and make a profit. This leads to media that feels more genuine, what people call "soul", as well as covering a greater variety so nearly everybody will have some kind of entertainment that satisfies them quite a lot.
Americans who lack that kind of in group cohesion can grasp it even if it's in a foreign product. For instance look at how many anime (and JRPGs) are about friendship saving the day. That's a message about staying together as a people group, and making sure you are helping build up society instead of destroy it.
It's weird and sad to think that heritage America will be turning to foreign media for entertainment, news, and communication. Hopefully it's just a temporary fallback while we assemble more alternative platforms and outlets.
Though notice how no one accuses the Japanese of "cultural appropriation" of Americana since 1945 ....
That being said, they pick and choose what they want, and turn it into something uniquely theirs .. and their entertainment can be said to simply not seek to change their culture, but to reinforce and celebrate it, and that's the difference between their entertainment and ours lately.
The same can be said for the shit written by and for blacks. I mean, come on, are they being told to be better people in their entertainment? Or are their shows just a celebration of ebonics and ghetto culture?
And, if you think about it, it's probably for very similar reasons to those outlined above.
There is little meaning to be found in the media produced for young black men.
And they too feel anomie. They are forced to, by leftist propaganda that constantly browbeats them with the message that they're an oppressed outsider, that will never be accepted by evil white culture.
Black Panther was also unintentional propaganda on the tenets of ethno-nationalism and strong borders and how those form the backbone of a peaceful and prosperous nation.
Up until the superhero hijinks kicked in, anyway.
Of course, the irony of the situation was completely lost by the "We Wuz Kangs" and "Diversity means no whites!" crowds.
Though notice how no one accuses the Japanese of "cultural appropriation" of Americana since 1945.
They probably dont want to admit that for the most part Japan likes Americana. Serious, you see it in Anime from time to time: They show America as a loud, brash, sometimes obnoxious person who nevertheless stands up for what is right and can be counted on in a tough spot at the end of the day. If Hollywood portrayed the US that way, the usual suspects would have a freaking aneurism and fly into apoplectic rage.
Also, slightly off topic but brought up in there, there is something I have been thinking about with the whole "Declining demographics" thing. I am starting to wonder if that is just another case of urban/rural divide at play. I know what the national stats are, but at least where I live I still see plenty of children around, with some families doing WAY more than their needed 2.3 children (there is a neighbor of mine with 4, which means by numbers alone they are already picking up slack).
I have to wonder if that applies in most western nations at the moment, and that part of the reason people think nations are dying is because the places that make the culture are all urban and liberal, and are not having children, while all of the unsung parts of the country that are looked down on as dumb hicks are still living their lives the same way they always have.
Yeah, I like Hetalia, too. Your description was pretty much America's character, spot on. Thing about "anime" is this: While the animated cartoon as a concept has been around for hundreds of years (Europeans started making dirty flip books out of page margins pretty much as soon as books became cheap, accessible, and popular), it was 100% an art form brought to its full realization in the USA, with Winsor McKay, Sullivan/Mesmer, the Fleischers, and yes, Disney/Iwerks. When I was a kid, the only Japanese animation I really remember being around was Kimba and Astroboy, both by the same author who was himself inspired by Disney. So Japanese animation itself is an example of Japanified Americana thrown back at Americans .. and Americans love it. Just like America in Hetalia would. How meta.
(I hate using special terms to denote who did what. To me, a comic book is a comic book and a cartoon is a cartoon no matter where it's from, and using special lingo is fuckin' racist. Doesn't matter what sort of audience it's aimed at, either. Either I like it or I don't, and it oughtn't matter where it's from, right?)
And all that "declining nations" shit is a load of hooey from corporations who think they need to make twice as much next year as they did this year, or they're not "successful" somehow, and think the only way to do it is to make sure humans keep doubling THEIR population as quickly as possible. This started in the late 1980s, when the effects of effective birth control was just starting to be shown, and population growth in the West was normalizing. Oh, yeah, the Baby Boom? Fuckers got hooked on selling to all those kids in the 1950s, and they thought the Boomers should have tons and tons of kids, too ........ because they're fuckin' ignorant of population dynamics (even without the Pill, it would have been only natural for birth rates to settle down. This sort of thing happens after mass deaths in various species.) Anyway, so that's when they started screeching about "declining birth rates", "debunking" the population bomb (if human generations were shorter than 20 years it'd be more obvious. If you were to see human explosion in the rat population, you'd be fucking alarmed. Just because of quicker generation turnover happening before your very eyeballs), all so they could stuff the West with mass immigration and chain migration and all that other crap, coupled with "waaaah, telling african beggars to use birth control is raycist" garbage. Oh, and when Canada brought in mass immigration (it was Mulroney who did that, btw, AFTER taking away our Baby Bonus cheques!), the job market turned right from a worker's market, to an employer's one. It was all a scam for cheap labour.
Besides corporatists pushing globalism (low paying jobs running very moderately low on supply? import migrants to remedy the problem and then some instead of allowing market forces to play out), the other premise of "declining populations" AFAIK seems to be an incredibly tenuous and unsustainable economic model of the young propping up the elderly.
It's 1 thing when a child supports his or her parents; it's another to ask them to support "social security", but in reality asking for contributions to 1 massive tax paid slush fund used for all types of governmental purposes. Irrespective of how tenable the program is in of itself, obviously the latter poses irrecoverable harm, and not even considering hyper inflation.
Well, that was certainly an arduous read. I hate 4chan formatting then I get to realize how shitty my eyesight is trying to read it made into a giant image.
The points on anime pretty much reflect why I started watching it. I never tried it before last year, but American media has just fallen way, way off a cliff. Quit trying to sell me alphabet people or merchandise, and just make a good story with good characters. Anime sticks to character development and tried-and-true formats. At least in the short foray I've been into it. I really wish I hadn't thrown it off as weird for so long and never given it a chance. That's an odd one for me, as I've never cared about "acting my age" with respect to entertainment, so I can't blame it on being near 40 and watching kids cartoons, because I never cared about that. I guess I didn't like the extremely stereotypical formats of the art style and never looked beyond that.
The whole suburbia part was a bit interesting. I'm really weird in that I live in a fairly diverse suburb, but the only reason I think it works out is it's not very economically diverse and isn't forced by the government to be. Being pushed out of the city/totally urban lifestyle is wholly based on cultural issues that the the fault of liberals and government. I could see myself living in a city if it wasn't for that. I don't hate the city lifestyle and I've enjoyed myself in nicer, not ghetto, cities (e.g. Stockholm). Instead, I'm pretty sure at some point I get pushed totally into the country and I'll adapt to that. I'm not moving to another typical suburb.
I'm not even gonna bother trying to read it. Screencapping is not an art, but it at least requires enough care to ensure that most screens can fit the width of the image. Needing to scroll in all four directions to read a bunch of text is a straight Nope.
Ending your family's line with yourself is a pretty meaningless life. This is addressed in the first couple posts. Whats the point of acquiring resources throughout your life if not to make your descendants better off? You can't take it with you when you die.
The sole meaning of life is not reproduction, but to say that reproduction is not a goal is pure folly. You're blinding yourself with your laser focus on the ineptitude and sometimes evil of women (which i agree with more often than not)
Because that is pure hedonism/narcissism. If you believe the world is fucked, that the mores of society are completely gone and we're in a state of anomie, then its your moral obligation to fight to fix that. How you do so is up to you, I suppose, but giving up to a life of hedonism only supports the ruination of the world, it only supports the goal of feminists.
And yes, I suppose you could have a fulfilling goal-oriented life without any reproduction. An ascetic/monastic life had worked quite well in the past. But again, those devoted themselves in service of a higher power, in recording knowledge for future generations. What does jerking off, consooming product, and shitposting on internet forums give you or accomplish, beyond short-term gratification?
It passes the time and keeps me safe from all their tactics. What else do I need?
If you think existing and living are the same, I'm not sure what to tell you.
Saying that you've given up on a meaningful life because people in the past fucked up their obligations is pure cowardice. You're passing the buck. Hiding yourself away until you can no longer.
Oh you'll only fight when they come for you personally? Neat, it's definitely far too late then. Fuck, it might be too late now, but being blackpilled is pathetic. How do you expect anything to change for the better if you're not going to put in even a modicum of effort yourself. Do you expect someone else to save the world for you? Probably not actually, as it seems you've already given up entirely
Life's goal is reproduction.
Any life that doesn't do it simply cease to be.
Yes, you can point to 'higher' pursuits like science and discovery, but if there's not enough reproduction going on, this is all for naught as there will soon be no one left to inherit the fruits such work.
In the same way that every society, no matter how advanced and civilized, is only a few missed meals away from descending into chaos and barbarism, the cycle of birth and death means that no matter how numerous its population, no society is ever more than a century away from a population collapse if they fail to reproduce.
Whites will become ethnic minorities in their own countries within the next 20-50 years. I predict that unless there is major change soon, then by 2100, there will be be very few majority white governments left on earth.
Ain't that the truth.

Also explains much of the hate for rural people and flyover states.
Lots of white people, many of whom won't submit to the decrees and proscriptions imparted by their coastal betters.
It really is.
White people live in the suburbs and waste hours commuting to the city because despite all the jobs being in the city, it's unsafe for whites to live there unless they have the kind of money that'll let them live in a tower with round the clock security, or some other similiarly inaccessible-to-break-ins type place.

Met plenty watching the shit out of anime though.

Why post a screenshot of text when you could have just posted the text?
Posting screecap of chan post has more soul in it than posting a pasta of it.
^ This person knows stuff.
May the blessings be upon you for this text version.
Its good, would be nice to have the text itself so we could adjust the formatting and make it more readable.

No. It means a generation waste their lives taking care of the elderly instead of having children, causing a feedback loop and increasing poverty.
