On completly unrealted note, you can ignore creator by clicking on his name and then on cogwell icon in top-right corner.
On the main store page you have a cogwheel on the sale banners as well so you can ignore the entire sale.
Coincidentally that same wheel is not present in the sale page, only "wishlist" is there but I'd say going in to the games individually to ignore is worth it.

I went to the Steam site and it's like a livestream and they managed to gather up the entire small handful of people who actually want to be called latinx to pretend to be game devs.

Surprised it took them this long. With how long Steam has been an effective monopoly, you'd think they'd have made moves to subvert it years earlier.
It didn't really start becoming a problem until a couple years ago when they hit the tipping point. Valve bought up Campo Santo, who are basically only known for being woke and developing the walking simulator FIrewatch, back in 2018. Most of us saw that as the writing on the wall of Valve (and subsequently, Steam, since the two are inextricable) going down the wokeness path. It's only proved itself out, with more and more woke indie bullshit getting pushed toward the front page of Steam.
I’m shocked they managed to stay above it for so long. That is certainly a testament to their recruiting and HR. But also, why buy out Campo Santo?
I'd say it's more of a testament to the flat structure that Valve has used as its management and development strategy being able to withstand incursion. Unfortunately, the extra wokeness that got brought along with Campo Santo pushed it over the edge, as the cult of SocJus had previously started to infect the whole place. We saw it creeping in with Valve's Greenlight and other small-creator programs, and much like cancer, unless you catch it early it'll spread and take over the whole place.
As for "Why Campo Santo?", that's a question that's up for debate. I recall a few articles saying something along the lines of Valve buying up studios because the studio had some skills or tech they wanted (like the AI in Led 4 Dead), but Campo wasn't exactly reinventing the wheel with Firewatch. At best, they pulled off a boondoggle by getting the wokenistas to all circle-jerk over their walking simulator, so maybe some SJW that had gotten their foot in the door decided that Valve needed a new Storytelling unit or some similar bullshit. Either way, the only thing they've done since they got there is work on Half Life: Alyx and produce a few stills for another walking sim they're supposedly working on.

You were acting as though Epic is somehow a better alternative, when they already added a pro BLM lecture to Fortnite. So not only are they not a "less woke" alternative, but they also offer an overall inferior service.
I wasn't talking about Valve there, I was simply pointing out that you are wrong about Epic being a less woke alternative. Between Epic being 40% owned by the CCP, and their overt support of BLM means they're only a better alternative if you like communism.
There are no digital software distribution platforms that aren't taken over by cultural marxist interests. This war is lost.
Buy direct from the developer, if possible. Encourage them to self-distribute so they don't have to turn over a % to pimps. Avoid the megamalls that are Steam and Epic, for the same reason one should probably avoid megamalls IRL as well.
And, well, there's a lesson here about "separating the art from the artist". And that lesson is that it fucking doesn't work since it keeps your enemies funded.
It is only lost if we give up.
Now is a ripe time for an entrepreneur to start a new and better digital software distribution platform than even Steam. Hopefully, they will succeed.
