The Incal, by Jodorowsky and Mobius. Book five, 'The Fifth Essence' especially, but the whole series really. After Mobius was hired by Besson to do design work for The Fifth Element, he joined Jodorowsky's plagarism lawsuit against Besson (which they lost).
Fantastic books, probably Jodorowsky's best comics. Valerian and Laureline are like an unacknowledged shadow cast over much of modern sci-fi. Star Wars, adaptations of Dune, and half the shit that ripped them off can be traced back to Valerian, but the Incal is a clear inspiration for The Fifth Element.
There's a 'local difficulty' which slowly increases over time. The higher it gets the greater likelyhood for lots of things like numbers of mobs able to pick up and hold items/weapons... don't know if it effects the fishing loot tables but it probably (?) does.
TPB still has seeded a few collections of Valerian, Blueberry, XIII, and Asterix (picked up a few months back when a thread here about french comics caught my interest).
Takes a little digging but some stuff is to be found. I was only looking for english editions, not sure what if anythihng's there in french.
Also weird timing I just got a copy of Paradise but haven't seen Prometheus or Covenant, was curious to watch the fan edit first just of curiosity.
Recently watched the 'spicediver' fan edit of David Lynch's Dune and it was a million times better than that dumpster fire of a film. Planning on watching a hobbit trilogy fan edit called the tolkien cut soon too.
Do not buy a new high efficiency washing machine if you can in any way avoid it. Bought one new in 2016 and it died in 2021. Buy used/learn to repair what you can and keep that 30 year old ge chugging as long as you can.
American retard here... how much pumpkin do you use? 1 butternut or equivalent? Here we have easiest access to 15oz (425g) or 29oz (822g) cans and I have no idea how to figure out how much to use.
