Converso seems to blow all of these away judging by their features (check link below and scroll down to their comparison with other apps).

Here's a link: https://conversoapp.com/

I don't have a use for these apps so DYOR, but this one appears good because of certain features, like being able to delete a sent message on the recipient's phone, so signup info required, messages are deleted on their servers as soon as its sent (or so they claim. Again, DYOR), and a lot more.

Elon's a fraud, but people love him because he put "69% Government Funded Media" on the CBC's twitter profile (haha 69).

If you wonder why some of us are hopelessly black-pilled, look no further to how Elon is still worshiped by the so-called "right."

Isn't it all Twitch and Youtube?

Steam reviews for me. I wouldn't buy a game without Mostly Positive or Overwhelmingly Positive reviews.

Some guy lost weight eating fast food. He explained the logic behind it and, from what I recall, it's just that he kept his carbs low and calories around the daily minimum.

It's a documentary called "Fat Head" that's a rebuttal to Super Size Me. It's a lot deeper than just his experiment and he talks about how Government has been lying about what makes a healthy diet (e.g., the Food Pyramid is horrible and actually causes health problems) and a whole bunch of other stuff regarding health and diet.

Here's the documentary for anyone interested: https://youtu.be/evcNPfZlrZs

I don't see anything there that states that anonymous images will be deleted or even anonymous uploading will be prohibited.

And if you still don't believe me, I suggest you try uploading content anonymously. I just tried it and it works.

but ALL IMAGES UPLOADED WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT.

I couldn't find anything stating that in the link OP provided.

To the article? It's in the comments, look for it.

No, he didn't. I've kept tabs on his account for this very issue.

Before you think I'm a weirdo, it came up in an argument recently as to whether Trump was paying for Twitter even though he hadn't used it since being unbanned. It was just today his blue checkmark no longer shows up.

Personally, I just found out today about "Twitter Legacy" and "Twitter Blue" (the former being the free checkmark), but I always suspected that lots of these people weren't paying for their blue checkmarks.

Fun fact: Trump's account lost verification, but Obama's account still has it. I don't believe for one second that Obama paid for Twitter Blue.

Well that and it’s 24 dollars a month to one of the worlds richest men.

Zero dollars, but I won't fight you over it.

However this sets a bad precedent for those that were willing to pay and now will wtf.

IMO those people don't care. Unless they run an actual business, they're just influencers who see that blue checkmark as clout, regardless of whether they deserve it or not.

Paying for a blue checkmark was only a good thing for people who had actually earned it, but were being denied for having the wrong opinions, although Elon could've done that himself if he were truly benevolent.

Everyone else who paid for it is just a filthy casual trying to make it as an influencer, which is a disease in today's culture.

"paying" in quotes because there's no cost to adding, or maintaining, an HTML element to the side of their name.

not sure who advises him

Quoting a post I made a while back.

Almost every excuse for Trump centers around the idea that he's the biggest retard on this planet and doesn't know any better. The other excuse is that he's only pretending to be retarded and that it's all 4d chess (have you even read The Art of War!?)

I mean the 94 ban stood up in court didn't it.

The courts do not overrule the Constitution. The Constitution doesn't even give the Supreme Court the power to interpret the Constitution. One of the biggest violations of the Constitution took place when they gave themselves that power (Marbury v Madison).

And to think - you're far more knowledgeable of the Constitution than the average citizen, but even you believe that the SCOTUS gets to interpret the Constitution.

This is why we're hopeless and I'm blackpilled.

Is he "returning" to instagram? That's the part that's off. It doesn't look like he's gone anywhere.

He was banned from IG (and Facebook) then unbanned, but hadn't posted.

His post prior to the ban was over 118 weeks old at the time of this writing.

Facebook Inc has suspended former US President Donald Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts for two years.

Donald Trump got back on Instagram after 2 years and the first thing he did was sell NFTs

At 10pm at night, anyone near my door is suspicious on principle.

Shit, I wouldn't answer a door at 5pm if I wasn't expecting someone.

Trespassing is a crime, though a minor one, and doing so in a suspicious manner is absolutely grounds for being treated as a threat from step zero.

From everything I've read, it's perfectly legal to knock on a door or ring a doorbell and it's not considered trespassing. Some exclusions may apply if you have a "No Trespassing" sign, a "No Soliciting" sign (and you're soliciting), if you have gates/fence that the person must open to reach your door, or if the person's intention was to harass.

I don't want to get into a long-winded debate, so I'm ending it here. If you think it's about avoiding debate, I'll just say that I'm wrong and you're right.

With that said, for anyone reading, don't risk going to jail by shooting/killing someone who knocked on your door or rang your doorbell to get your attention and notify you of their presence. There's not a law against it and there's no judge/jury who's going to see it your way, either.

No, but seriously, this shit needs to stop. Red states won't be red much longer if this continues.

Standard thing to do before attempting to break into a house, ring the doorbell to see if anyone is home.

You could argue that. However, you must answer: what is the purpose of a door bell if not to notify the home owner that someone is at the door? That's its one and only purpose and that's why they sell them.

FWIW, since this will eventually come up, here's how I would've handled it:

  1. Because you're not expecting someone, arm yourself.
  2. Don't answer the door
  3. Wait for the person to leave.
  4. If they're not leaving and are attempting to gain unlawful entry, wait for there to be evidence of the unlawful entry and then unload on them.

Bonus points if you have 911 on the line just so they're aware you made an attempt to report it, but no one will hold it against you if you don't.

Either way, you should have the surprise advantage and you'll either drop them or the criminal(s) will likely try to run away since they don't know where they're being shot from.

I know this won't sway people one way or the other but, at the end of the day, someone ringing your door bell isn't grounds for you to shoot them, and you're just going to end up in prison if you think otherwise.

Lester said: ...

  • He had just laid down in bed when he heard the doorbell.

Not a good sign when he admits the door bell was rung.

Whether you agree with it or not (I do, fwiw) someone ringing your doorbell isn't grounds for you to shoot them.

The case will likely come down to whether there's proof the kid attempted to gain unlawful entry or if the jury believes the old dude that door knob was rattling.

FWIW, this is awfully similar to the Renesha McBride case.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Renisha_McBride

The murder of Renisha McBride, a 19-year-old African American teenager, occurred on November 2, 2013, in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, United States. Renisha McBride crashed her car while intoxicated at a street in Detroit, and then walked to a neighborhood in Dearborn Heights where she knocked on the door of a house. The homeowner, 54 year old Theodore Wafer, shot McBride with a shotgun. Wafer contended that the shooting was accidental and that he thought his home was being broken into after he heard her banging on his door at 4:42 in the morning

What's the point? They'd never live long enough to reach their official execution.

In which case, why does it matter to you?
