No, but seriously, this shit needs to stop. Red states won't be red much longer if this continues.
Arizona is already lost. Pray that Kari Lake is able to get anything done.
It's so fucking bad in Florida right now.
Yeah, now that I'm in Florida, stop the line!
Now? I've been here from the beginning. Get out.
I meant myself. I moved here for work and safety.
It's Florida, can't you use the anacondas and alligators as a barrier to stop the lefties coming in? You have enough of them.
Make it Florida's version of ninja warrior to move in there.
They tear down those ninja warrior areas, and even the poor neighborhoods for urban skyscrapers no one will live or work in.
Doesn't that just mean the alligators and Anacondas get new skyscrapers as you can redevelop the land there but they aren't exactly getting relocated..
There are 2 relevant points. The first is that there is a lot of ideological sorting going on with these moves. For instance, at least as of a few years ago (I haven't seen anything since) there were more Democrat voting native born Texans by percentage than transplants. Enough to have a Senator Beto but for the non-native Texans voting against him. The second would be that even a lot of these coastal Republicans (of which there are huge numbers) are more libertarian neo-con types. They do bring softer culture stances that then help create more of the spreading leftism we see across the country.
This is just personal experience, but sometimes it seems like conservatives from blue states can be more passionate than conservatives from red states. For example, I grew up in a solidly blue state. I actually had to live under the leftist idiocy of my totally blue government. It was bad when I was younger, but its steadily gotten worse. And I grew up in suburbia; the people out in the sticks hate the state government far more than I can imagine. Nonetheless, I have no tolerance for a lot of leftist points that other conservatives might be willing to humor.
Conversely, you have states like Utah. Utah is about as solidly red as they come, and it has a lot of great people. But, the establishment Republican Party has such stranglehold on the state. It's become RINO-central. The Republican Party can get away it, because they have no meaningful competition. I hope that primarying bad politicians becomes more mainstream, but that's how things are right now.
