I remember during Trump’s first time, when “kids in cages” was all the rage, I saw a reporter walk through a detention facility and she saw the showers and said “oh my god, showers, just like at concentration camps.” I raged at screen over that one.
Even weirder was the “Elsa and Anna totally represented lesbian love” crowd. You know, because two SISTERS can’t care about each other without fucking. I’m convinced that all of these people should NOT be allowed to have children. They’re so obsessively coombrained that they can’t separate sexual desire from love, and so there’s a 100% chance they’ll molest their children. In their diseased minds, if they love their kids, how could they NOT fuck them?
My fallback on this was the controversy around the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why. That was a show about a girl who committed suicide. There had to be warnings put in front of it and there was massive national discourse over the dangers of addressing suicide in a TV show. Youths are so impressionable that even being exposed to the concept of suicide would result in offing themselves en masse (a concept mocked in the movie Heathers in 1988). But nobody challenged that. Yet when you have a show like Euphoria pushing transness, which coincided with transification of youths, nobody questioned whether it was an effect of them being impressionable rather than acceptance. Weird how that worked.
My favorite was when I asked a leftist, who’d been complaining about the audacity of that woman who pretended to be black, why changing gender was okay but not race. They explained that you can’t become black because being black encompasses a history of racial oppression and cultural heritage that you simply can’t be part of by tanning. I asked how a man occupy a history of suffrage, feminism, and patriarchal oppression simply by putting on some lipstick and declaring he’s a woman. I was told that’s different because it’s about gender.
I’m sure the five people in the world who never heard of James Bond and would have NOT watched these movies because they showed guns on the posters but WON’T be upset the movies have guns in them will be pleasantly surprised.
