Immersive fiction — no matter the setting — needs to be believable within the context of the world in which its set. A baseline level of realism is required otherwise it becomes nonsensical. I wish they would find a reasonable middle ground. I play games for escapism and immersion. Scantily clad women frolicking around as fan service kills immersion just as much as women who are indistinguishable from men. This is why I just can't enjoy Korean games. I want to see characters that are reasonable and realistic to the setting of the game.

I don't want developers to shove their fan-service down my throat any more than their gender-androgyny nonsense.

You really only have two choices:

I'm convinced they just put those signs up to get people to slow down, similar to how police will park an empty car on the side of the highway to make people slow down, or how businesses will install fake cameras to prevent shoplifting.
