I thought they were different people because of the tattoo on the clavicle of the one on the right, but it might be the same person with the image mirrored on one side such that the tattoo is under the blue robe on the left image.

That's someone's daughter, after all.

Are these two even adults yet? Their faces have that pudgy softness going on still. Please tell me this isn't another pair of girls who haven't even finished puberty and are now sterilized by the regime nobody is willing to rule 2.

Win11 requires a gen8 or later intel chip and a similarly modern AMD chip in order to support the level of security (and backdoors) required. There isn't any other reason for this requirement, even chips from twenty years ago can run Win10. Gen7 isn't that old, if you bought a new PC as little as four years ago you could have gen7 and be unable to run Win11.

Thanks to Valve and their work on Proton, you can run almost every modern game on Linux. And you could already run older games on the platform. Standard office software is also no longer tied to Windows, what with everything being web based anymore.

It really might be time to end that thirty-year relationship with Microsoft. I'm certainly not going to spend hundreds on new hardware in order to continue it when that hardware is not dramatically better than what I've already got. My primary gaming pc is gen4 and still hasn't hit the wall yet thanks to video cards being the real bottleneck for gaming and the tech underlying and supporting those hasn't changed dramatically since PCIe was introduced in the mid 2000s.

Setting all other things Jester aside, I actually do like ctrl-left. I hate that they call themselves 'progressive', as if they were progressing towards anything other than maximal degeneracy and decay. The ctrl-left label encapsulates their insane authoritarianism quite nicely to me.

And this is why I keep pushing the idea that we must also be zealots.

Don't hire danger hairs. Don't help danger hairs. Hurt (in all non-rule2 ways) danger hairs at every opportunity.

Right now, going along with these freaks is the easy path. We must make that hard, so the morons who always take the easy road are forced to actually make a choice.

Men can be women, true.

Vaccines can have side effects, 'misinformation'.

I need a new provider of similar functionality, open to suggestions.

Sir! Dwarf fortress has Z levels, and Rimworld does not. It is but a distant reflection of the glory of Dwarf Fortress.

In space.

Normies don't like to think, debates are literally painful to them. Normies entering a hobby pretty much spells the end of continuity, complexity, grognard-ity, and any other aspect which is necessarily details oriented.

The youtube downloader tool, and its better fork yt-dlp, can archive almost any video link you throw at it. Every time I find a video that I think is useful, it gets archived using this tool. Twitter, reddit, youtube, bitchute, doesn't matter.

You'll also want ffmpeg, just download the 'essentials' zip file. Place the yt-dlp and ffmpeg executables in the same folder, and open a command prompt in that location. Then just use

yt-dlp.exe <paste in url of video>

It will download the highest available quality of that video and audio, and stich them together into one file with ffmpeg.

I used this to archive all those zoom clips of that pedophile professor talking about how hes not sure that sex with a one year old is bad because there is no proof it harms the child.

Two kinds of trannies.

One actually does have dysphoria and is legitimately mentally ill. Those are the ones you described, and they will do whatever they have to in order to pass. They are a tiny minority of the tiny minority, and they will keep their mouths shut because talking about this attracts attention to their status which is painful.

The other group are autogynephilic. They get off on inserting themselves as the woman in their fantasies, and that fantasy requires your buy in. They are comfortable with their own bodies and will almost certainly keep their dicks. They will loudly proclaim their status because your discomfort feeds their fetishes. This is the group empowered by LGBT organizations currently.

Young girls calling themselves trans/non-binary are neither group. They are victims our society has failed, who bought the lie that the pains of puberty can be evaded by choosing to not be a woman. The people enabling and encouraging this group are literally harming children and need to be rule 2ed.

I supported gay marriage and laughed at the slippery slope argument.

But it is absolutely undeniable that the slope done slipped. The holy rollers were right, and I was wrong.

The closet is open and turns out there were monsters inside of it after all. I will 100% throw a few percent of the population under the bus if it means protecting children from the insanity I've witnessed firsthand. Five years man. Five years. Thats all it took.

Edit: And don't think it was a sudden pivot, the 'T' was added to LGBT over a decade before public support for gay marriage reached a majority. These organizations included this insanity and the moment they won that victory they pivoted to pushing the current madness. It's the same organizations, people, and funds. They are not separable.

Edit2: Under the bus is a metaphor, not a call for rule 2 on a rule 16. Back in the closet, everybody knows but nobody flaunts it. Shame again instead of pride. The pride of a small percentage of adults isn't worth permanent damage to a small percentage of children.

Weather you see it or not, this is laying the legal groundwork to support the idea that children can consent to things of a sexual nature. It is happening simultaneously to aggressive rollouts of sex education materials targeted at elementary schools. I don't want to out myself, but I have seen and handled such materials firsthand.

This shit has escalated extremely quickly since the supreme court legalized gay marriage, and watching it happen right in front of my eyes with people I thought were sane adults has done more than anything else to convince this atheist that we need the bible-thumpers around to keep literal evil at bay.

Rights only extend as far as there is willingness to use violence to secure them.

The critical error of most western populations is believing that they can outsource that violence to the government.

mharmless 24 points ago +24 / -0

Too late. This delusion is being reinforced in our children and has been for at least five years now. We're witnessing the output of this insanity, and the pipeline is hardly empty. Even if we could halt this right now with a snap of the fingers, we're still looking at a damaged generation.

Behemoth, the chick with the man face. Although an internet search tells me it was a friend of the lead dev, and also that they pulled up at the last second and made the character fully female due to feedback from Beta backers like myself. There was mixed pronoun dialog for this character still at launch, and apparently that got cleaned up at some point post launch. So I guess that's a win and I didn't even know we'd won it. Nice.

Iron Harvest is in the humble right now, and Age of Darkness has the best pitch of the three. I'll grab one of those after I wrap up with Rogue Lords, thanks for the suggestions.

The tranny mechwarrior is one of your starting four and based on the tranny lead developer. Might be possible to dodge that with mods, but regardless the game also makes you pick your pronouns when you start, which was my first encounter with that bullshit.

I was a kickstarter backer for Shadowrun and BattleTech, but I won't be doing so for Hairbrained studios again. I was not a bottom tier pledge for either product, but damned if I'm going to overpay to be lectured to by leftists in my entertainment.

The Hijab engineer might have gone unnoticed without the tranny insertion putting me on guard, because you're right that it would have otherwise been fairly unremarkable in setting.

Got any particularly good new properties to recommend? I'm playing Rogue Lords right now but will be fishing for another title in a few weeks or so.

Amen to Victoria 3. Man I played the hell out of Victoria II. My favorite run I triggered the civil war early and crushed the south, then invaded Mexico and added another seven states or so. A few administrations later I launched an invasion of China and by the time the game ended Ghanzhou was the most productive state in the Union.

Canada was there too.

Distant Worlds 2 is on my radar. Distant Worlds was fucking great, loved how it tried to simulate population and supply lines in a space setting. I can't think of another space game where disrupting enemy logistics is a thing you can do with noticeable impact on their ability to wage war. Not exactly a pretty game, to be expected given its age.

And of course, Frostpunk 2, also already mentioned. The first was a great game, quite hard and I enjoyed my time with it. It is rare to have a city building game you can actually lose.

I guess building and strategy games are harder to shove woke shit into, so guess I'm lucky that is my preference. Although somehow BattleTech managed to fit in a tranny pilot and a hijab wearing engineer, so who knows.

Edit: how fucking sad is it that everything I'm looking forward to is a sequel? I hate that new properties are automatically suspect in this day and age.

$800 is what I paid for my acer nitro 5 a year ago and it crushes everything I throw at it. Has a 1650ti GPU in there, which is plenty for basically anything you're going to do at 1080p.

In fact, you're going to be hard pressed to find a laptop that isn't a 1080p display at that price point, which means essentially anything with a dedicated GPU will be just fine.

Edit: If you plan to attach a VR headset to it then you should aim slightly higher for a 2060 or 3060.

I bought this game on GoG last year and enjoyed about 12 hours with it. Kind of like a reverse darkest dungeon, where you are the bad guys and fighting your way out from underground while upgrading your dark lord lair. The length of each 'campaign' was closer to a slay the spire run, however.

It was in early access then, and it has a DLC now that I have not played, but there was absolutely nothing woke in there at the time and I have it flagged to come back to again for another playthrough. Certainly worth picking up for zero dollars.
