He didn't do it to signal virtue. He did it do advance his career.

Culture is meant to be shared. I'm sure Mexicans have copied plenty in the past.

There's cryptocurrencies, but hardly anyone uses them for trade.

Bank to bank transfers are a thing. So are eChecks. You don't have to use Paypal to transfer money, Paypal just makes it easier.

You might not care, but being on easy to use services makes all the difference. If Arch only accepted bank transfers from the beginning, he would be broke.

It's got to be a humiliation ritual.

No, he's probably just following orders to end and bury it.

Politicians on both sides and many extremely wealthy people aren't going to allow themselves to be exposed as having had sex with minors as soon as the opportunity was presented to them.

It's entertainment-first, I guess?

Or maybe they're just lazy, lol.

Increasingly, men won't marry or sacrifice for women because they're not worth it. And nobody wants trans people.

So yeah, they both lose in the end. Everyone does, even men.

Some rando just put in the effort of going through his past lies and exposed them in a video and it exploded.

Still a much more useful YouTuber than most of the popular drama queens out there.

Nah, screw Mutahar. I'd much rather have 6 hours of the Kino Casino dunking on him.

You're right. My ideas wouldn't work. But I don't believe young people are wise enough to hold political power.

I'm Latin and have never been to the USA.

But back to the subject, I think that representative democracy as it was seen in the 20th century has run its course. I don't see why political voting should be considered a natural human inalienable right.

Instead it should be tied to responsibility, somehow. Starship Troopers' Heinlein did have a point, even though he tied his idea too much with military service and land owning.

What a stupid idea. If anything, voting age should be at least 21.

Or make it a matter of responsibility: get the ability to vote when you own land and/or have children. You know, when you are invested in the future.

Or get the ability to vote when you are tax positive, perhaps gaining it permanently after 20 years or so of being tax positive.

What you absolutely shouldn't do is let young useless idiots vote IMO.

W40K was always aromantic and asexual. Space marines are assumed to either not feel lust from the changes made to them or practice perfect abstinence as part of their discipline.

Lust and strong emotions are tied to a chaos god, after all.

EDIT - I just checked the link and it's just fan fiction. If properly in-universe, it would be the first act of a fall into chaos, no doubt.

What the fuck is this?

This is a known IP being squeezed. Or at least an attempt at it. It's kinda beautiful how incompetent they are, isn't it?

I thought she was good enough in Dune. I haven't liked her in anything else.

Contact your favorite youtubers and demand they make mirrors on alt sites. Otherwise, do without.

Using the name of God in vain doesn't mean not saying it. Using the name of God in vain means using it without reverence, respect, trivially, or for evil purposes. Like saying "Oh my God!" casually, or using his name for cursing people, or false swearing in his name.

No, it's a false belief. It is written that nobody can know the hour of the second coming. It cannot be predicted.
