That's true enough; I guess I just have a certain level of skill and/or training in mind when I think of someone labelled a 'professional'.
I suppose there is a certain level of skill involved in making sure the camera is pointed to and focussed directly on your ringpiece, so in that light I must concede OnlyThots are indeed pros.
I love when people downvote factual statements on here; reminds me of my time on Reddit.
Australia is most certainly a commie shithole. I came here from Scotland, and I'm starting to think it's following me around.
From Microsoft? I'm sure we'll see a GamePass price increase as well as news about other developers/publishers they plan to swallow in order to have us all locked to their platform.
Sony? I can't think of a damned thing. Maybe some PSVR2 games that'll actually make the headset worthwhile. Or a price cut. Or both.
Nintendo? I want to know where the fuck Metroid Prime 4 is.
Times like this I think I'm basically done with gaming, and it's 50% thanks to companies putting out absolute shit. 25% is on games 'media' praising said shit. Remaining 25% on the gaming community for rewarding companies by preordering the shit and buying the season pass.
This is the only real purpose behind documents of this type. I waded through shitloads of mandatory 'training' like this when I was working replenishment in a supermarket.
"You signed off the 'lift with your knees' training session, so your spinal compression from years of lifting half your bodyweight around the store daily is just your own problem."
I was prescribed them years ago, took one pill and never ever again; I felt like dogshit afterwards. For me, exercise, sunlight, better diet and cutting out negative influences worked way better as a cure for depression.
My favourite of the listed potential side-effects was, hilariously, 'suicidal thoughts'. Just what you need in an anti-depressant.
They did the same to the BBC, who put out a 'deboonking' article shortly thereafter.
"We're not state-funded media, ackshually, we're funded by the TV license fee which is totally not another name for a tax that the British taxpayer is forced to pay."
Is it possible a substantial proportion of that was spent developing the game engine itself? I remember reading this started out as a tech demo or something.
Surely even Squeenix would shitcan a game running into this level of budget overrun; especially on a new IP.
Cheers man, I'll check those out.
There are still some games out there that are enjoyable to play; I think I just get a bit disheartened when I see games get 8 or 9/10 review scores and I play them and wonder if it's me that's missing something or if the industry's just fucked.
