In 1973 it meant "superchimp".

Superchimps are "docile, obedient and uninquisitive" and are perfect for "housekeeping, elementary cooking, tool-carrying and dozens of other routine jobs".

So we know at least his brain is missing.

In the 2016 election Google and Media were caught flat footed. They were told 99% chance Hillary wins and they believed it.

Since then Google sees it as their core mission to prevent another Trump and the mass media is down from 1/4 conservative to 4%.

These are powerful forces, on the other hand Kamala is profoundly dumb.

Well humor is subjective, but that's a really low bar isn't it?

One might say it's the best of the worst...

Their lefty opinions are kept on the more subtle side so it doesn't bother me too too much.

The problem is they just have nothing interesting to say. Their Prequel critique was low-hanging fruit, but it was interesting to see enumeration of all the ways it sucked.

I can't think of anything where I've said "huh that's a great point I never thought of that", which is what I want from them. Their takes are pedestrian and I couldn't care less about them laughing at some bad movie on VHS nobody has ever heard of.

edit: actually I can think of exactly one thing, when they called Best of Both Worlds a Riker Episode. The whole thing is Riker's character growth, becoming captain, throwing the book away, and a non-pussy reason for staying #1 in later seasons. This is the kind of thing I wish they did more of.

Something I am 100% totally sure of now is there is way more to the story and it's not nearly as black and white as we're told.

Biden should put his hat in the ring at the convention, convince the delegates he's the best choice for President.

It's possible we would have Icarus'd our way too close to the sun without them.

fauxgnaws 2 points ago +2 / -0

We don't know how much of the fraud was directed by Biden.

It was probably several different components (mob ballots, harvesting, fraudulent counting, etc) and any of them now directed by Jill Biden will be against Kamala or whoever the superdelegates pick.

Jill is a women scorned and you know she's livid right now and will never forgive.

7
fauxgnaws 7 points ago +7 / -0

Oh Hillary is running, right now, you can count on that. She's behind the scenes talking to superdelegates and pulling strings. We might not see public signs of it except for a cryptic tweet or two, but it's happening.

In her mind Trump is damaged by 8 years of attacks, her image has recovered by people forgetting that she's awful, and Biden could win from his basement.

She's like a cat with the Presidency dangled in front of her. She simply can't resist trying to pounce on it.

Also the VP has plenty of time to read The_Donald for what people are saying and pass it back to the Donald.

As far as I know the only bad thing about Vance is his eyes make him look like he's wearing eyeliner.

Probably not specifically related to delegates, but the Russia-gate Democrat fixer firm making a big mistake right after the events of this week is probably related.

Like I bet behind the scenes they've been scrambling over something nefarious and that's what let this mistake happen.

The main thing a death penalty does is establish that there is an ultimate price.

Having an ultimate punishment affects society on a deep instinctual level. Communities know there is a beast and if they don't get their act together they'll wake it. Having a death penalty is peace through strength.

Lesser people and children naturally push the limits just to find out where the limits are; they can't just know through reason like normal civilized adults. That's why the real problem we're facing is the lack of corporal but really lack of any punishment in schools and by parents.

A stitch in time is an elementary school teacher bitch slapping the worst troublemaker in the class or dragging them out by their hair. Kids shouldn't be afraid of their teachers, but they should fear their wrath.

โ€œBoth the โ€˜Attack on Trumpโ€™ cover and the โ€˜What Unites Usโ€™ cover are scheduled to be printed with the Aug. 5 TIME magazine,โ€ the spokeswoman confirmed to The Federalist. She did not specify how many of the copies sent to third-party sellers would have the Trump-focused front page instead of the black-and-white cover.

I'm guessing they put the fist picture in stores, maybe not in NY or CA, send the empty wasteland picture to subscribers (who are all liberal).

Per my other comment then they're not paying for the picture for the liberal subscribers who will hate it anyway.

fauxgnaws 5 points ago +6 / -1

Devil's Advocate, somebody has copyright on that photo.

His camera didn't make a shutter sound it went cha-ching!

It's possible he demanded too much money from TIME and they wouldn't sell enough newsstand copies to make it worth it. Not like anybody is going to subscribe to TIME to get this issue.

Liberals are on a precarious ledge.

First step is "was this really an assassination attempt??!"
Second step is "are we the bad guys for wanting that all along?"
Third step is "yes" and they're falling off the cliff.

This is why they are so resistant to taking that first step.

5
fauxgnaws 5 points ago +5 / -0

Exactly. Their logic is not cause then effect, it's effect then cause.

Once you look for it in the left you'll see it everywhere.

For instance they say more blacks are pulled over for speeding so therefore the cause is racism. So they institute expensive and expansive controls and find out... more blacks are speeding, and in exactly the proportion they are given speeding tickets.

Or the wage gap, women are paid less therefore discrimination when the reality is they're collectively just doing less.

The black female Supreme Court member did this in oral arguments, saying that fewer blacks in some government role was proof of systemic discrimination against blacks, which is this same backwards logic. So it even affects the 'top minds' on the left.

The public knows what 'don't miss next time' means and they are against it, but they don't know that drag queen story hour is a creepy crossdresser with his dong hanging out.

That's the difference.

When people know what the left is doing they're against it. That's the Red Pill. The point of these cancellations shouldn't be to change the left but to show people who they are.

White House was in panic mode after the assassination attempt. They had to involve Biden because it was so serious and to coordinate the coverup. Somebody gives him covid.

3-5 days for symptoms, checks out.

There's zero risk to him as they'll give him monoclonal antibodies and whatnot. If he dies it's because he was deep stated.

But I think they just want a reason why he can't answer difficult questions about the assassination attempt.

I like how the only reason to ever watch Timcast is the other people and then he talks over them constantly.

Seamus Coughlin is a real Christian and this video is 'turn the other cheek'.

I prefer the one where Scooby shreds woke-Velma into a thousand pieces.

Then you're wrestling with a pig.

The right needs to take away the left's weapons, not pick up the same ones and try to out-crazy them. The left by their nature will always be more crazy and willing to burn it all down and win that fight.

Their tactical nuke is the apology / playing nice. "You hurt my feelings" -> "Oh I'm so sorry I didn't mean to" needs to change to "fucking good, go cry about it you baby". This was the change Trump was elected to accomplish with his 'mean tweets' and if he had his proper 2020 term maybe he would have even finished the job. Jeb: You can't "insult your way to the Presidency" -- normally true -- but he did because that's what we needed to correct the Left's bad behavior.

Watch the infamous "Trump has no chill at the 9th GOP debate". This is the perfect encapsulation of why Trump won and how to handle leftists. This guy made it thinking it was an attack and deleted it because people kept assuming he was MAGA and he couldn't take it.

It's like with a kid throwing a tantrum, you don't throw a much larger tantrum and try to out tantrum them. You signal to them that you don't care that they are crying and wailing, they still have to eat their brussel sprouts. Once their crying doesn't work they stop throwing tantrums.

The left aren't losing their minds about grandma fired by Home Depot, they're losing their shit because nobody cares about their whining victimhood about it.

tl;dr guess this was simply too long a post. I'll try to be more concise next time.

Are you dense? Of course they wouldn't use a cell phone. This is why I told you to chill out and think for a second.

Cell is an existential example showing how dumb 'but mah metal roof' is as a reason. Communication over a few hundred meters is not hard. It's an absolutely moronic reason to argue again such a thing.

You have to build the machine, and you have to tune the machine with a gun. It's a lot of work and a lot of testing.

The machine can be a gun. Now you're not saying only a sniper can measure the weather, you've changed your argument to 'but they'd have to test it!'. Of course they would test such a thing. Another absolutely thoughtless comment on your part.

Yes, I'm triggered that you would be silly enough to suggest synchronous fire from simultaneous shooters; or worse: drone snipers.

I never said drone, which is significantly harder - you're creating strawman after strawman because you're wrong and you know it.

Look I'll help you out. There's one good argument against such a thing existing, and that's that you might have a hard time finding qualified people to create something that's only practical purpose is political assassination. But the technology for it not existing is not an argument against it.

fauxgnaws 2 points ago +2 / -0

Talk to any sniper about how much you have to know about the temperature of your gun, the air, the terrain, humidity, the Coriolis Effect, and more.

In other words, things that are easily measured and quantified. Like you think a human can factor in the rotation of the earth better than something that knows the position down to the inch and angle to the arcsecond?

There's no feat of skill that a machine can't be made to do better than a person. The only question is if somebody has reason to make it.

That electrical signal better not have any interference... on a metal roof.

You're being totally irrational. Cell towers 50 miles away can get signal through a metal roof transmitted with milliwatts of power. What an insane cope.

There's a reason we just used a bomb on that Iranian General.

Because we didn't have anybody a few hundred meters away? Jesus you're like triggered for some reason. I don't know why, but slow your breathing and think for a few seconds.

It seems totally doable to have an automated sniper gun for this kind of fixed target.

Set it up, give it the wind speed and range, and it makes the perfect shot at any time without concern for breathing or heartbeat. Have the automated trigger shoot when the patsy shoots. Even much farther away the bullet will go faster than reaction time.

How would clandestine groups not have something like this? It seems so obvious. One that can track somebody in a motorcade or moving around, that might be too big and clumsy to deploy but something that can take a perfect fixed shot?

Smarter Every Day has made this kind of thing in their garage to show bullets hitting each other and other stuff like that.
