When I first saw Ye in the short description of the article, I thought NR had succumbed to using made-up pronouns.

That or Kanye's going through a really bad phase.

Horseshoe gonna horseshoe.

She's smart enough to realize it's not the government's job to save her, but too stupid to realize it's not anyone else's either.

It's a screenshot from /pol/, right? Same chance poster never had an OF account and thought it would be funny to preemptively discourage her simps by claiming he wasted $15.

Or poster is bullshitting in an attempt to make people say "no way" and spend $15 to see if it's true as a weird marketing scheme.

Don't take anything at face value.

If the selfie is Dutch angle and the screenshot is Dutch angle the exact negative angle, is it still Dutch angle? The image is oriented properly now.

Disagree on that part. There are fictional characters whose fictional actions still garner a "wow, what a whore."

THAT is the real distinction here. The fictional ones are sexy but they are off raiding tombs or fighting angels. If 2B's character was that she took lewd selfies to try to get $4.99 out of simps, she'd be a whore. But she's not. She's destroying machine lifeforms for the glory of mankind. She just looks gorgeous while doing it.

There's nothing to reconcile. The disgust is a result of their actions, not appearance.

But seriously, watch this and keep a straight face: https://orifice.ai/testing-123/ (NSFW, duh)

Credit to whoever edited OP though. Using the bracelets to hide the seam between the different video layers is a fun trick.

I think people are watching his reviews with the wrong expectations. He's a writer and a movie buff. His complaints are almost about writing: plot holes, characterization, pacing, bad dialog etc.

I've always got the impression that he's not against The Message because of the message is unethical, but because its inclusion is almost always done in an incompetent way that fucks up something about the writing itself. If you took a non-historical IP and made everyone a black woman w/o swapping an existing character or fucking with some established lore, I don't think he'd care all that much. Same with making them all women; as long as they were written as humans and not infallible Mary Sues.

He was fawning over Blue Eye Samurai, which is "diverse whamen vs. the evil white men," but they have her fall down sometimes and picked a setting that isn't completely at odds with that story setup. That was enough to get it a pass from him.

Like has been said in other posts: the flaws he finds, he explains very well. But he's effectively blind to any woke stuff that doesn't outright destroy the script. He's not Gary or Az.

"HOW DARE YOU ADVOCATE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN!" - t. retards on Twitter whose timelines are half posts fantasizing about hitting JK Rowling

I assume it's just not really built for it. Iron Dome is primarily to intercept rockets. They're hot and follow a predictable trajectory. I'm sure it can intercept UAVs if it's small-planed sized stuff. If it's a swarm of nimble little guys like Ukraine is using - I'd think considerably harder to intercept.

But for whatever it's worth, they're claiming they intercepted the majority of them, but they didn't say specifically by Iron Dome. They say they intercepted them over Iraq and Jordan so probably some other system or aircraft?

More than 200 drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles were fired from Iran

Assuming one interceptor per threat, that'd be something like $20-30m in munitions.

Edit: I should have known.

Statement by Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III on Iran's Strikes Against Israel April 13, 2024
At the direction of President Biden, U.S. forces in the Middle East on April 13 intercepted dozens of missiles and UAVs en route to Israel, launched from Iran, Iraq, Syria and Yemen. Our forces remain postured to protect U.S. troops and partners in the region, provide further support for Israel's defense, and enhance regional stability.

So shot down with something likely more expensive than Iron Dome and with the US paying for it instead of Israel. Though I assume the US probably pays for Iron Dome too...

I'm not sure if it's a shitpost or not. Making their picture a character (Otome Saotome) from a raunchy comedy who is a literal rebel artist drawing sexy things underground in a puritanical society where they've been banned... and then arguing that sexy characters are bad is quite an achievement of cognitive dissonance.

The main problem with this is she's arguing against a complete strawman. The "sanitized, clean beauty" thing is not what anyone is demanding. Sure it looks good on a character like 2B who's appearance is deliberately at odds with the environment - but the only issues people had with Tomb Raider (2013)'s design was that it was an unnecessary redesign of Lara. If you'd put that design in an original IP, no one was going "Ew! You've gotten some mud and blood on her face. I hate this game now!"

Gamers aren't asking for nothing blowup dolls and porn stars. Just stop giving female MC's deliberately unattractive body and face proportions. Then you can make them as filthy, brutal, and inelegant as you want. No one will mind. No one had an issue with HZD1 Aloy. No one liked Nikocado-Avocado-face Aloy.

C1 and C2 are fine statements. Just don't expect it to be well received or financially successful. You're still allowed to make what you want to make. You just can't demand that people buy it or like it.

Not sure if joking. It's from the founding father whose legacy got dragged through the mud by being turning into a shitty musical.

invited roughly 60 graduating law students for a celebratory dinner

You're talking like this professor ran background on each student or specifically invited her because of her position. This sounds like he just invited the graduating class as a whole.

Rather than just declining, this lady premeditated a way hijack it for her own cause.
That said, a law dean/professor at Berkley? There's a 0.0000001% chance he didn't deserve this anyway.

graduating law students

Ungraduate her.

So that had always been the plan.
We had even done a criminal defense consult with the National Lawyers Guild...

Not surprising in the least.

Go for it. Just as long as you hate them proportional to the actions of their adhereants. One disagrees with you and might say some unpleasant things about you, one beheads anyone who disagrees with them, and the other will undermine and destroy your society regardless of what you agree with.

Even if you're at odds with religiosity in general, try to allocate your disdain as reality calls for it.

When you pull the camera back far enough, not many. Even the ones who aren't personally scamming are usually helping you with needless regulations that were lobbied for by the same group that charges the consultants to be "certified" in their area. Or by some company that locks their documentation to paying consultants, forcing you to go through them to accomplish basic things. Who do you think goes to an Oracle or Salesforce convention? Why would those even have conventions without that artificially sustained consultant class?

On the other hand, security consultants and that sort can be okay. Situations where you explicitly want to test with an outsider.

If they're leaving the dick intact, I don't think there would be any "plumbing" to speak of. I guess it would essentially be man-made jumbo belly button in an awkward spot...

The funny part it would be less of a mutilation than their usual approach.

This sounds like a rather clear condemnation of abortion and alimony/child support

Nitpick, but since alimony is spousal support (not child support) it's not related to children or that proclamation one way or the other.

abortion

Pretty sure the Church has always condemned abortion.

All the egregious, despicable shit aside... how do you manage to get hired by the CIA when you'll happily just run your mouth about everything to some random person especially when it's not even subtle that you're being pumped for info? This guy shouldn't even be in the same room with the word "intelligence."

If historical stereotypes were true, famously freedom-loving Americans wouldn't have ever allowed themselves to be put under nationwide house arrest over a cold.

Taking a historical sense of national character for granted leads to complacency and disappointment. I hope you're right, but I figure they're just as likely to say shikata ga nai and bow to the globalists "otherwise our companies can't compete internationally."
