I have an old one of those cheap file safes in a closet. I figured if I am ever burglarized it's a diversion, maybe they think they got my safe and quit looking around that hard. Only thing in it is a picture of Nancy Pelosi that I got in the mail as some sort of campaign prop back during Covid "14 days means eternity" time.
I figure if I'm being hunted by the government I'm already screwed anyway. They don't need contents of a safe to lock me up for no reason.
My argument is the patch itself is copyrighted work. It's essentially a mod and in many cases its legal to make and distribute patches. If I make a Skyrim mod with unique IP inside it, I can freely distribute it as I see fit as long as I don't include any Bethesda property as part of the distribution. Bethesda cannot confiscate and distribute it as a DLC though.
Yeah I'm grasping at straws for curiosity sake, I know there's no chance in Yell a judge would even attempt to look at it fairly.
I wonder if this were actually play out in a fair court wouldn't it be theft? At least in the US if I were to legally purchase the old game and create a patch for it to remove the DRM that's something I'm allowed to do. At which point I'd have a totally legal copyrighted work I could distribute. The crime isn't until someone uses it to patch an illegally owned copy of the game. So now Rockstar is stealing someone else's copyrighted work and distributing it?
I'm going to be with you, if that kid becomes a monster, most of the blame lies on women.
My guns aren't even in a safe. I don't see the value if you aren't trying to lock them up from people welcome in your home. They are right next to the safe though. The way I see if they've made it that far either I'm not home or I've already been shot and killed. I keep a safe to protect documents, backups, and cash from fire mainly.
I mean I avoid a ton of long videos too. It's quality of content though. Like even things I agree with, some of the autist videos posted on here tend to ramble badly. Like an hour of video "Joe Biden is bad. Bad, Joe Biden is. The President is bad. Did I say Joe Biden is bad?" Like it's an hour of going on and on without adding much additional knowledge to make me interested. Gaming stuff is tough. If it's a new game I'm likely to skip around, look for gameplay, see it, and bail. I came into that video wanting to see gameplay though. Im generally not interested if you like the game, unless ive watched you enough to know we share interests. If I'm learning about an old system, how a game was made, etc. I'll stick around way too long.
Last time I went in Barnes and Noble (about a year ago) there was so little in there anyway. It might as well be a kids bookstore with some anime and woman's books in it. Sad state of affairs.
Side note, I'm familiar with Sowell and seen a lot about him online, but I've never read any of his books. What's a good first one?
Did you see the other part?! She threw her garbage in the garbage can! Warm up ol' sparky! Even if not still legal in Canada this horrible terrorist is too bad for assisted suicide!
These people in question listen to that awful monotone black ghetto garbage about dicks and pussies. Probably through their phone speaker.
When I bought a safe, electronic just seemed ridiculous. Just extra batteries to deal with. It's not that hard to put in a simple combination on a mechanical lock, I can have it open in 15 seconds without trying to go fast. Electronic safe is fixing a problem that doesn't exist. Mine is just a fire safe too, it wouldn't be that tough to keep out someone with tools. A big expensive high security safe? I don't want no electronic shit.
While not the same "streamer" as I was thinking (i.e. Twitch), the point I was going to make still stands. I'm not sure streamers have been good for anything. They are like a disease.
Everything is being dumbed down for attention span, it's insane.
The French would probably start burning down schools over this. French Canadians? Who knows.
Holy shit, my water bill was $52.52 a few months ago. I can't believe I paid that and didn't submit it to the news as evidence of hate crimes.
Already, wow fast.
What I saw it did look very much too black.
The real war would be the one after the race when they fight over their coffee seasonings.
I can't remember who made the old WRC games, but I know they won't be better with EA.
I tried NFS Unbound recently. Holy shit is that a bad game. I couldn't get away from the awful angsty teen story for so long I gave up. I go back and play the latest Most Wanted from 10ish years ago. Wow, it wanted me to drive around and have fun with cars. How far things have fallen.
Maybe The Crew Motorfest will be good.
I tend to agree. I just don't want the government having hands in things. I think porn and degeneracy is a huge problem. Bad parenting is even more of a problem, but we can't legislate it into place.
I've bought ammo and accessories online and I don't recall any additional checks. It was just like buying anything else online. I think they just left it at my door just like any other purchase. I've bought ammo at the store too, they just check it out like anything else generally. I don't even think there's an age requirement albeit I've not been underage in a long time and never tried it. I'm in Texas. It may be different in other states.
I believe for all/most online gun purchase you have to have a legal licensed firearm dealer (FFL dealer) to have the online purchase sent to and then they will do whatever checks required before handing the gun over. There's also some limited accessories like silencers that require a tax stamp. I will say particularly on the 2nd point the 2A community is not happy with it.
I have Game Pass paid through June. Right now I'm 70/30 in favor of extending it another year if the Christmas sales on subscriptions are good enough. Last year it cost me $95 for a year and I got more than $95 worth of gaming from it.
So I won't be buying it, but I can play it. I might try it out after Thanksgiving. I'm sure I will eventually even if it's a year or two from now. Honestly I waver on how much I'm interested. I loved Fallout. Lukewarm on Elder Scrolls. Starfield just looks boring to me. I don't "roleplay" a made up character in my head, so being dropped with what feels like generic person into generic sci-fi space world doesn't catch my attention. Fallout has a feel to the world--the cold war era theme, the real old music, etc. That's what gets me. Not the characters or the just ok story. Starfield looks to offer me none of that unless I want some high school kid's bored at school drawing on a notebook of a space place with some "atmospheric" music we downloaded somewhere playing.
On top of that I'm just too busy. I've got something planned about every other weekend on average until late February and I'm playing Witcher 3 expansions and Atomic Heart right now with a not short list of half finished stuff behind it. I play with my cousin on weeknights most of the time. Time is just too short to pick up another long grindy RPG.
I use Fedora Linux w/ KDE desktop. I prefer the KDE desktop. Although if I were to suggest a beginner user I'd probably steer them towards a Ubuntu Linux just for ease of learning. Browser I still just use Brave because I like it the best.. otherwise the same stuff. I don't game on Linux yet though.
Been told multiple times how I’ve needed a Covid test. “Why?”, I say. They never have an answer. If I don’t need medical attention, then it’s useless in actionable information.
These are not the actions of an oppressed people. They are actions of an entitled people. I really hope one of these idiots pull this in some place where they practice caning. That's really what they need, to be humiliated and beaten into their place.
I would at least suggest taking care to use proper grammar when publicly commenting on the use of grammar.
I wonder how many dildos are in Giuliani's collection.
I've actually poked through the campaign some recently. It's not awful but it's still meh. I like it better than Halo 5 campaign. I don't care for the open world. Multiplayer is boring and there's no reason to play it over Master Chief Collection really. At least Halo 5 offered the warzone game mode that I found really fun. Infinite is just generic.
The aesthetic really keeps drawing me to Lies of P. I wish it wasn't a soulslike, because well I don't like them, but I'm going to have to at least give it a shot.
