I do, it's not my original old one I nuked that in 2020. I'm pretty silent on there but I do find it to be an okay place to follow things. It can be annoying at times, but it is much less speech-limited with Musk in control. Perfect, no, but in 2020 it was a cesspool of current thing only. Lesson learned though, I am much more limited in what I follow, I don't need a bunch of people telling me what to think .

Are you sure you need a phone number? Mine is set up without one, and my current account is post-Elon. I think you can just use an e-mail.

I don't see how it could have ever been a net negative for him. He needs to be on there, that's part of how he ever got his appeal in 2016.

It's just like Musk telling the EU to fuck their own face, publicly right here in the open. The brash comment gets attention and endears you to those people just wishing someone would come out and say what they are thinking.

There were some women's sports that have interested me in the past too, particularly things that I'd say in the US trended more towards women, volleyball for example. Canoe slalom does sound like a cool event, break dancing not so much.

Damn, I was just thinking if he told them to go fuck themselves and sticks with it, I would go buy a year of his premium service. He might have just done that.

Granted I apply the "offers you no possible working solutions" to the constant jabbering about Jews as well. I agree, there's way too much Jewish representation in tons of things, yet everyone that goes on about it has offered me nothing actionable, ever. I'm still not sure what they want me to do about the Jews, other than be agitated. You'll find from many of my posts here, I don't waste energy sitting around agitated about things.

Everything they mention is why I don’t watch the Olympics anymore, and I used to watch daily back probably pre-Trump. It’s not how they think though because I hate women’s sports or whatever. I used to enjoy several of them in the Olympics.

What have I heard about the Olympics this year? Something about mocking Christians, several things about trannies, and the only word about men’s sports being the name LeBron. It’s not about competition or the best man winning, or America kicking ass, it’s about politics, the plight of the downtrodden negro, suck the feminine penis. Just as modern games have left me, so have the Olympics.

Yeah, I simplified it a bit. Even more simplified but along the lines of where you’re going: feminine thought patterns have become prevalent and not tempered at all.

Not even just with this topic, but things like you are supposed to coddle a tranny and tell them they are normal, when the best thing would be to tell them they are crazy and help them get away from it. There is no longer the attitude of taking the tough road in a situation, “for their own good,” because that would be an atrocity too.

“they have a hanging tree” for people like him

For lying sacks of shit? Yes we should have some of such trees.

Second place is the first loser.

I probably have this attitude because even though I'm white, the Asian grading standards discussed here very much applied to me. If they'd had all this modern shit where your parents could see your individual grades online, I'd 100% have been dead by murder or suicide by the age of 15. I used to have to explain why I'd get 90-something grades if they knew about it, and one time I got a C in a class, I literally modified the report card to hide it.

The funny thing is they probably could have just asked and been allowed to. If I had to guess it's a raging leftist that would be happy to let them.

They are the highest powers of the government though, that would be far too respectful, they take what they want and fuck you for having a problem with it. If it wasn't in media, they would have told her to fuck off.

The entire reason any of this works and exists is because of women voting, making decisions, etc. A man looks at these stories and puts together some logic. A lot of what is being reported doesn't make sense. A lot of this would have been a stretch even for a nutcase like Pol Pot. So it's dismissed as bullshit.

Women on the other hand, it goes right to their all-controlling emotion center. "Awwwww the little babies shouldn't be baked in ovens that's horrible awwww, I bet they are not treating the poor little bitty kitty cats right either awwww. I'm so glad I'm such a good person to have such empathy."

If you’ve ever had to work with many of them, that’s not the only thing they aren’t any good at. They are basically just like their customer service offshores, never really rude but you’ve left having given up on getting anything useful accomplished. I’d take one muzzle Arab import over a dozen Indians, because while the former is still annoying, they can at least understand complex concepts.

I spent a ton of time in the early 2000s in extremely poor southern rural areas. I was a tech contractor working at small schools. I know of a couple that had as much tech as the college I was in at the time despite having 150 students combined through all 12 grades. City people are clueless and just assume they are superior.

They don’t need a Kinkos either, that’s not how stuff works in small towns. The guy at the post office or the secretary at their kids school would totally copy something for them no big deal.

Of course the clip on his voice is "Vance questions witnessses on the effectiveness of Russian sanctions." They leave no stone unturned in forming their propaganda.

Is it one of those things that never really gets discussed beyond the side comments in support of migration by that one liberal? That's how I find much of the conversation in the US. Particularly if it's something like work, the women and soymen will throw you under the bus so fast over anything outside of the approved programming, and with HR being so infiltrated, you're done. I was a bit surprised to hear some commentary on the Indians vs Guardians (baseball team renamed for "racism" if you didn't know) at a work related event lately, but it was also all 40+ straight white men involved, a group that would find tattling over some words to be a pussy thing to do.

Lucky for me, my friend group says what they want almost to the level of here.

Yeah, when I was digging more I saw the typical mask statement just a couple years ago. I immediately discard the intelligence of anyone who says "We know that masks reduce spread." I've never been to any such con, but they all outed themselves over the last five years with their all-in adherence to the mask and vax posse.

Maybe was cool in the past at least.

I've tried to tell people (mainly family boomers) that the polls are nothing but manipulation tactics. Most of the news is anymore. They are reflecting in the polls what they have decided is best for you to see to get the outcome they want. That being beside the fact that a poll is only as good as the group being polled. Go poll people at a gay parade on their thoughts on gay marriage, what do you think the answer will be?

I wish I had any idea who I thought would win the election. I know a bunch of people doubted me in 2016 when I said Trump would win. I usually have a pretty good gut feeling, but 2020 broke that, and I get a worse feeling about Trump's prospects for this year than I did in 2020. But that's just stupidity anyway. In the end, I try to set it all aside and not let politics live rent free in my head. Do the best I can with the overripe lemons I'm served, and move on.

Yeah, I'm having to screw with it right now because a now defunct company reported a bunch of shit to the IRS as having zero basis. Pain in the ass. I've made a point of not hiding from the tax man prior to that too.

I can't decide on crypto investing for the future. I don't currently have much at all, but if I do continue going forward then it's going to be very limited trades for buy-and-hold investment sake.

If it was easy enough, I'd love to use it for paying for things, the documentation will kill you though. I would for something that's been de-banked though. I don't even know what this content in question is other than something anime/manga related. I'm glad they gave the finger to the banks though.

It's brutal when you look at it from a clean slate and it very much gives me validation that Youtube decides who they want to be popular. I'll go watch a random tech video and immediately it's steering me to only top channels. It is an algorithm, because it improves over time, although I do still get the weird one-offs. I think you might be on to something, it ties a lot more to things about history, because I noticed more politics at a time I'd been watching some Cold War things. I guess they have to make sure to inform me the truth about "real Communism."

I don't need to be excited. It takes a whole 15 minutes of my time to vote for him.

In the end, do I think Trump is going to go in and go scorched earth like he should? No. I think it will be mostly like the first. He is barely different now from what I can tell he was in 2019 despite all the shit since then.

I do believe he's pro domestic energy production and anti foreign wars, both of which things the current rulers fucked up the second they got in. Also both things I really like. Outside of that, I mean what am I supposed to do, vote for Harris?

I don't really log into to Youtube and my browser (Librewolf) is pretty hostile to it's tracking. So I end up having fresh recommendations quite a bit. You can tell, because it's all mainstream shit when it resets, then it will morph into things closer to what I watch.

It's extremely rare that I watch political content on Youtube, I just don't care for rants of guys with Jesus hair agitating me. So I assume that's why I am pretty much never curated into a group being offered propaganda.

For the sake of the argument assuming US because I know about, you're right crypto is an absolute clusterfuck. The taxes is only on gains though. You don't just lose 1/5th of your money immediately.

Example, if I were to send you one Bitcoin today, you sell it and convert to dollars today. The only taxes you would owe would be on the difference between the value of the coin when you received it and the value of the coin when you sold it. For a quick transaction like that it's unlikely to be much. It might even be a loss, in which case you get reverse treatment on taxes. So you get a bitcoin from me worth $60k, you sell it for $60.1k, you pay 24% tax on the additional $100, for a tax of $24. Technically yes, you'd owe taxes on getting $60k worth of Bitcoin from me, but you'd always owe those taxes no matter what I used to give you that $60k.

Most of the pain with respect to the US at least is documentation. It's a huge fucking pain in the ass to track and document all of this for tax purposes, particularly so if you're buying and spending small amounts of crypto. Technically if I spend $10 of crypto on the internet, that's a taxable sale, so I have to have a line item on my tax form for that $10 sale, and account for when I acquired it and for how much. Do that 100x and it gets out of hand very quickly. That's part of the reason I went away from using it to pay for things, the much larger reason being so many more normal places quit accepting it.

You're right it's too volatile for someone to be playing around with for rent money. Anyone who has to think about scraping together rent money probably needs to focus their energy on something else entirely. I actually see the value of crypto as a transactional engine, if it can ever get to that. There's tons of hurdles of course. I don't really like it as a "currency" because of the volatility.

Why aren’t they trying crypto at all? It’s a perfect use case.

Read the whole article, still have no idea WTF they were supposed to have made. DEFCON badge?

I know whatever it is, it’s not going to work correctly. So, I hope it’s something to do with the FBI.

So, I looked it up. WTF it’s some conference? Looks like a conference for those kids in online gaming who tell you they’ve stole your IP address, tell you it’s 192.168.1.12, and they are totally going to DDOS you. After which you’re getting banned because their Dad works at Microsoft. They’ve grown up into LARPing as hackers who know just as little as they did back then.
