Just to be clear, are you theorizing that the innocent bystander was murdered as part of the plot or that the shooting didn't happen and the bystander/actor is hidden away somewhere? If the former, did a second shooter murder the guy to make it believable? Was the 20yo patsy in on it or did he think he was really gonna shoot the president? Was he shooting blanks? Did they kill him or was that faked too?

I lean anarcho-capitalist and don't want any taxes. That said, I would be ok with a property tax assessed once like when you buy a vehicle. For example $30,000 on a $250,000 lot put to an escrow account you can pay off over time and then that's it. Your children don't have to pay anything. Things like police and fire are service fees and should be calculated apart from that.

They both literally "grew the beard" and became Trumpian. I suppose to the extent it means he now votes our way because he knows he has to then that's good enough, but I'd keep an eye on him. I won't pretend he has any personal convictions or wouldn't hesitate to change his stripes when the wind blows the other way.

My experience with school was that teachers designed the classroom to be whatever was most comfortable or "fun" for them, not the students. We had one teacher who moved everything around the room every few months because she liked the fresh feeling you get from redecorating.
