To be fair, the people who regularly read the Atlantic are responsible for the inflation. Of course, I doubt the article actually addresses that.

Fallout TV show is unlikely to succeed even without wokeness IMO.

One major aspect of the games is just exploring around and finding things, and doing what you want. Locking that in to film removes that whole aspect, so that cuts my interest.

But the main thing that a TV show will not do is the fact that most Fallout factions/societies have both plusses and minuses (discounting FO3, but at least Bethesda returned a bit to morally grey in The Pitt). Even The Master, for all his insanity, had a point about Super Mutants being better suited for surviving than humans (well, for the 10% or so who kept their minds afterwards). Even 10-20 years ago, Hollywood would probably not have been able to actually make morally gray factions, and I certainly don't expect them to do it now.

Add in modern wokeness, and it's going to be flat out awful.

Given that Disney's owned Marvel since 2009, both of those failures fall on The Mouse.

Based on the preview videos I saw, it looked like a mediocre Age of Sigmar reskin of Dawn of War 2, so I didn't bother looking into it any more.

Oh dear. Someone get Yahoo Answers on the line, because this artist desperately needs "how is babby formed" answered.

We saw it back in February. Look at what happened when Don Lemon said Nikki Haley was past her prime.

I guess they have a set number of ads they're supposed to run this year, and since they decided to pull the ads off Twitter (due to Media Matters) the only place they can put them is in their games?

Zero surprise factor here.

Option 1 was it was intentionally permitted.

Option 2 was there was a catastrophic failure of Israeli and US (and possibly the rest of the 5 eyes network) intelligence services to have heard nothing about this.

This is the reason IMO. Dude took one step towards the edge of the plantation, and the knives have come out.

This. Are conditions in Gaza miserable? Likely yes. Is much of it self-inflicted by the people in power there? Also yes.

There are reasons why all of the Arab nations around refuse to take these people in.

Let's be honest, it's more surprising how cucked Australia is when their natural wildlife is the most alpha thing available.

That is sadly simple. Look at Australia voting maps. Nearly all the cucked voters just live in a couple carefully curated coastal cities and just ignore the rest of the continent.

Hey, now. The Emus won the war, why do they need to be subjected to that kind of treatment?

3
ailurus 3 points ago +3 / -0

On the one hand, I agree with you.

The problem with that, though, is that China's government is aware of how close to the edge of the cliff they are. And, faced with the choice between "let everything implode" and "massive military campaign before everything collapses" I don't see how they would possibly choose option 1.

Oh, there is a LizardZuck? Then 10/10, game of the year.

I am sorely disappointed by the lack of mention of lizardmen bosses, but at least you can save the frogs from becoming gay.

If he does even half the things he said he wants to do, the meltdowns will be glorious. Heck, even a quarter of the things.

Well, I'll be. The madmen actually did it. They created the ultimate lefty slogan!

An utterly insane comparison on the surface, that make absolute zero sense.

But if you put on enough tinfoil hats, take enough crazy pills and turn on enough Q-Anon videos at high enough volume it does actually make some sense (though, not in a way they intended I think):

  1. "Reproductive Justice" just means free, limitless access to abortion.

  2. Some of the lefties just want to slaughter children by means of said abortion

  3. When the Israelites moved into Canaan post-Exodus, they displaced most of the native population and their deities

  4. One of those deities was Moloch, who was (by all accounts) a big fan to child sacrifice

  5. By removing Israel, they can thereby bring back sacrifices to Moloch

Therefore, "Reproductive Justice means Free Palestine" means that they want to set up child sacrifice cults in the Levant!

Didn't it come out like 2 years ago? Even if it had been a good game, how does that warrant a remaster already?

4
ailurus 4 points ago +4 / -0

Nah, they'd only slaughter the men. Most of the women would get to find out what it's really like to be in a society that treats them like it's the Handmaid's Tale.

ailurus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Nah, it's not that bad, yet.

a) Manifest v2 shutdown has been promised for years now Sure, it will come but Google has pushed it back several times already (though I'm sure it will come eventually)

b) Manifest v3 does hurt, yes. But you've got options of uBlock origin light, adguard, ghostery, and probably others to choose from for adblocking. Plus, unless the Brave browser shuts down entirely I'm sure they'll keep working on their shields and adblocking as much as possible.

c) There are browser alternatives. While Mozilla is pozzed, there are several good Firefox forks - Waterfox, Librewolf, Pale Moon, probably more. (Heck, not even sure I'd call Pale Moon a fork anymore as it has been 6-7 years since it was mostly different). And, though I am loathe for many reasons to give Apple anything, Safari is still it's own thing, not Chromium (though I've no idea of the extension availability on it).

d) People are indeed making their own browsers from scratch. Two I know of are Flow and Ladybird though again, no idea of the adblock functionality they will have.

e) PiHoles and similar exist, and while they do not stop things like in-line Youtube ads they do stop a lot of the most obnoxious ones.

f) If all else fails, we can all just go back to Lynx like it's 1993.

And probably more stuff. Will things change some, yes. But life finds a way.

Probably because the mob has, for years now, been able to get institutional support for the Cause of the Week by begging Daddy DNC. And now Daddy DNC is hesitant so they're throwing a tantrum.

And add in that the electric grids provably cannot handle adding even a moderate amount of electric vehicles, and that charging stations are still not available in many places, and that even with subsidies EVs are more expensive. Now throw China's social credit system on top (where, among other things, you're kicked off public transit if you are too naughty) and this is undoubtedly just an attempt to get more control over people and reduce their freedom of movement.

Wow classic+ is releasing at the end of november actually. They're calling it "Season of Discovery" and they've hidden a bunch of baubles in the game world for goys to "discover".

virtually all of the baubles are just abilities from later expansions you can swap in and out, and yet people are thinking it is revolutionary

I can drive to work in 10-15 minutes.

I could theoretically take a bus to work instead. If all the routes arrive/depart at the scheduled times, it would take me 34 minutes. However, that involves switching between two busses, so if the first bus is 5 minutes late and thus I miss the second bus it will take me 1 hr 34 minutes.

Screw the bus.

Anyone still shopping at Target after everything they've done is either blind or in favor of this stuff.
