I am actually kind of entertained by any attempt to portray trans people in cartoon form. I just love imagining the artists agonizing over the question of how to make them clearly trans, but not be “offensively” stereotypical (nearly impossible) and yet also make all of them “pass” because all trans kooks think they are turning into beautiful women or big strong men and not clownish freaks. I’ve noticed a lot of art just plays the fantasy game and makes them look like their alleged “new” gender but uses context or storyline to convey that they are trans. This is obviously not like real life but that’s never worried the Movement.

Agreed, and in the 21st century a lot of the “circus” is getting people riled up over meaningless BS related to popular entertainment rather than just straight up providing entertainment — I think the powerful have realized they can do more with less that way, i.e. provide fewer shows/movies/etc. but extend their ability to distract people by pushing the “controversy” related to them. Social media algorithms push content that is “controversial” but is largely empty and meaningless (articles about the Barbie movie at the moment, Velma and She Hulk and Rings of Power before), and old media obliges too by writing about such nonsense. The powers that be want you arguing some dumbass point over a TV show or a movie, because then you definitely aren’t seeing how you’re being screwed over in real life.

As an enlightened equity/social justice activist, I agree this game has too much naughty content. Keep that stuff in the public schools where it belongs.

I’m convinced the reason lefties are so freaked over AI is that it reveals how their own statements and rhetoric are basically just variations following from meme-spread patterns they recognize.

This is why no one needs to buy the whole lefty argument that Barbie disproves “go woke, go broke.” Fine, you had a single woke hit. Blind squirrels, broken clocks, etc., almost nothing is without its exceptions. But there’s plenty of evidence in that statement’s favor, to include Bud Light, Velma, and others from just the last year.

I’ve been noticing a lot of talk lately recognizing that the “racists” and “bigots” see non-white people as people to a greater extent than the “anti-racists.” I don’t go in with either side there, but if I were a black guy I’d have a lot trouble seeing “shut up and let me speak for your whole race while you smile and nod” as being better than “this is my land, you guys go over there and do whatever you want.”

The “bigoted views on gender” part really makes me laugh. It’s such a tell that their experience of black peoples is limited to Twitter and the theoretical view of “Black Voices” (that all say the same thing) celebrated by critical theory SJWism

There is no doubt in my mind she has some narcissistic sexual disorder if the mind - maybe not a debilitating one (most aren’t) but one that can be dangerous when combined with incredible power, like she has as the face and leader of a pop culture business machine. These things tend to show differently in men and women: in men it tends to be a look-at-me showiness about the women you bed, while in women it’s more about look at how sexy I am. Just look up any interview Lizzo has done and she is very singleminded in that way - yeah her art is about body positivity in a general, inspirational sense but her real personality is better summed up in the very famous “I’m the new beauty standard” quote. There is a HUGE difference between “love yourself no matter what you look like!” and “yo, you KNOW you wanna fuck me, cheeeyah!” and Lizzo is sick with the latter. And if she wasn’t rich famous and powerful, probably no one, or very few people would ever be hurt by her disorder. But she is, and so she’s hurt a lot of people just because she (a) can, and (b) loves it. It’s the only logical explanation for why she gets a pass as a fatass but her dancers get fired for being too fat: “I’m hot and you’re not (even though we are the same)” — a sexuality-centered narcissistic disorder. And I’d be saying this whether she was a man or a woman: I hope this scandal fucking ends her. She is sick and twisted and some of us have known this for a while even as her fans were blinded by the public face she showed, it’s been more than obvious. I hope this kills her career, permanently.

Is that a woman woman or a “woman” woman? It’s hard to tell from the picture or just in general in the captured industries, which includes journalism

What do we figure, another week before this same stuff comes from people actually connected with the movie, rather than done twitter dipshit? Certainly it seems to be the go-to strategy once any Current Year thing fails.

As their art and imagery reveals, they think a “Muslim” is a pudgy, mildly brown woman who wears a simple headscarf to go with her raised-fist or rainbow flag t-shirt. Cue their surprise when their attempt to gaslight everyone, to include themselves, does not reflect reality.

Didn’t our side spend the entire Woke Era to date telling lefties that the alleged alliance between Muslims and queers within the wider “oppressed” mass was tenuous at best? I guess sometimes the 800 pound gorilla in the room decides to get up and do 800-pound gorilla type things.

Hades wasn't perfect, but he was the least bad of the Greek gods.

He’s the original “I just want to grill” figure. As he came to be identified with the devil in the popular imagination a bit later on, you might say “I just want to grill sinners.”

Be fair, it might be over 50 percent male attendance if you stop pretending the trannies who went are women.

NYT is literally named after the duke of york, the most prolific slave trader in the history of all of the americas.

This is actually hilarious. We see where the line is drawn for renaming things that were named for slave owners/ traffickers/etc. Schools, parks, animal species, YES, states, NO, too much trouble. What would all those douchey blue haired liberals who brag about being “New Yorkers” within seven minutes of moving there think if they knew they were citing some white devil slavemaster?!?

I once saw a Facebook comment where a guy said “I hate white people” and then went into a three-paragraph explanation of “Obviously, I don’t mean ALL white peoples, just the ones that…” But I figure if your clarification is more than two times longer than the initial statement, you might as well come up with a better and more (allegedly) “accurate” initial statement that conveys what you say your real point is. Otherwise you’re playing the motte and bailey game which apart from being fallacious is also incredibly cowardly.

Must be one of those “I revoked my consent retroactively” situations. If only she and the victim were in the same college, she could get him kicked out through a Title IX proceeding.

I’m a reasonably avid reader and it seems to me that publishing was the first industry to become fully captured by that femininity-made-religion that the ongoing Woke movement essentially is. Like, it’s been dominated by women and the specific female-lefty worldview that now runs everything since about 2000 or so, in my estimation — long before the movement took over all society more generally. Companies just don’t tend to put out “male” or “male-oriented” books that much anymore, unless the author was already established before the takeover. There’s nothing stopping dudes from writing the books they to see published, there’s just a much harder road to getting into covers and getting recognized to the point where the average bookstore will order them.

The “preference” is so “outdated” that I’ve never heard any parent in any of the last three generations express it.

Leftists HATE when you point out stuff they say or do, or have said or done. It’s why they rage so much at LibsofTikTok, which simply reposts lefty content exactly how a lefty uploaded it. They even have a ready made excuse about how posting their shit exactly how they posted it makes them “unsafe” somehow. Fuck them. They want the ultimate form of illegitimate “safety” — the right to say and do whatever they want but never, ever face criticism or counterargument, while retaining every right to criticize anyone not in their little social cult. I suppose they are so used to that kind of ecosystem in school that they are confused when out in the real world they find that everyone criticized everyone.
