All addictions cause loneliness and isolation. Most addictions start from external factors, genetics, or trauma. From chems to gambling, you don’t take the addiction away to cure it. All you do is make people get it illegally and create black markets. You need to cure what is causing it.
Instead of blanket banning porn, let’s look the problem as to why it’s popular.
Women have been told 1 out of 3 men will physically rape you. They have also been told men need to make 6 figures, be 6 feet, have 6 inches, and have a 6 pack to be a good “partner.” Women are also told they need to make money and provide nothing for a man.
Men have been called unwanted in every aspect outside of their money. Men have also been told to move over and let women into every aspect of their life other than physical contact with them (not just sex, but even a hug is considered rape if unwarranted 5-10 years later.)
We have a loneliness epidemic that a generation of mistrust and ignorance of what the definition of a relationships is and how they work. Porn is just a symptom of this bigger issue.

You are right that a lot of kids lost non-verbal communications but many lost the ability to verbally communicate to others. The lockdowns created something akin to an environmental based non-verbal autism. As a replacement, these robots will make it worst by a long shot. As a slow progression to talking to other kids, it would be a great first step to get them to communicate again.
I might be in the minority but these might help those kids who had to even quarantine away from their friends and families for that stupid cold.

This goes along side other medical treatments and social support. Cold turkey has such a strain on a body, it’s only used in short term addicts. Long term addicts that go cold can cause heart attacks.
Cutting pornography from intense addicts will result in them getting hooked on another vice. There’s a reason why digital gambling/gatcha games have become extremely popular now.
