I have been pondering for a long time how easy it would be to come up with something to subvert facial recognition advances (at least temporarily) without it being as obvious as a mask and glasses.
Something along the lines of make up that reflects IR or normal glasses that are lined with emitters or something like that.

The line "We are fighting with the Harkkonen's" is a bit muddled. They are fighting along side the Harkkonen's? Against them? They aren't escaping with Shawshank or blowing up with the death star.

I often stand there wondering what answer I would get if I asked them to imagine how they would feel if they hadn't have had breakfast this morning....
I get the "you have to wait for an employee to check before you can cash out" prompt pretty well every other time I use self-checkout. The camera sees something that it flags as scam or un-scanned and I have to stand there and "wait for assistance".
This stuff reads like the out of touch crazies that you would find back in the day on Tumbler or DArt.
