Hey I mean it could always be worse. My favorite was when the NATO account last year posted a Ukrainian soldier wearing the Nazi Black Sun patch for International Women's Day.
And then deleted it afterwards because whoops can't have it known we're funding Nazis.
A joke among Russian war commentators is that it's legitimately hard to find pictures of Ukrainian soldiers without Nazi insignia. So perhaps NATO was just feeling the struggle.

It is fictional though. Ukraine is not a country. It has no historical existence, which is why Ukrainian nationalism is so laughable.
But Ingsoc is busy rewriting history. If you search for 'Vassily Grossman', Google will happily report to you that he was born in "Ukraine"... in the early 20th century.
Russia goes back centuries, ergo, it does have a historical existence.
