Russia is way way more sexualized. Prostitution and cheating are normalized for almost a century. If you read classic Russian literature like Master and Margarita you will see it was totally normal even way back.

Russian women far outnumber men and they have to go to extreme sexual extremes to get a mate. Almost all the big famous E girls and nude models are from Russia. It's no accident I assure you.

I'm not convinced, I think this was a subtle jab by a based department. If they were trying to support her I would expect some soft science degree or ecology or something.

That's not quite the same as your initial comment. Basically if the number of female children is at least 1, it raises the likely ESG score.

That is to say having subsequent male children will not then lower the score.

A subtle difference I grant, but an important one.

McFaul can't even speak Russian well despite supposedly being a professor.

I think the US has about as much to do with Maidan as Russia did in our election: which is to say not much. I'm frankly amazed at the duality view of folks here: the government is incompetent but somehow organized a coup with info warfare. My experience with the government is they couldn't organize a coup out of a wet paper bag.

Not really so, in fact if you look at the Obama administration under McFaul they actually loved Russia. Honestly all of this can be traced back to the huckster McFaul's totally failed "Russian Reset". Even the videos of him pushing the big goofy reset button have been mysteriously scrubbed from youtube. Most all our current issues with Russia can be traced back to this so-called "expert" who totally trashed the relative calm we'd had in the preceding decade.

And how can we forget the Obama quip to Romney "The 1980's called, they want their foreign policy back"? The repubs could just play that on repeat, but they don't.

You two certainly have that in common - wanting to show your loyalty.

But a better question in his case is why? You clearly don't understand the economic cash flow in Russia so I will explain - Moscow and it's regions produce very little especially in terms of food. The more southern regions is where most of that occurs.

The intent of their move is to position themselves for ultimately splitting the country. It is sadly inevitable at this point as your "Tsar" has no heirs and has killed anyone capable.

For what it's worth I'm glad you have some love for Russia, but the long term prospects of the country are incredibly grim and made worse by this adventurism. There is no way to recoup the costs and it likely is going to end with the country eventually splitting into different warlords.

Your argument that Chechens aren't a monolith but Ukraine deserves to burn is logically inconsistent.

The fact of the matter is that monoliths don't exist, but it's largely immaterial as we are talking about the majority opinion in regions. Yes you can always find outliers, but the majority of Chechens have no love for Russia.

You should ask yourself why they would suddenly align with this action.

Slav4U 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ukraine was independent, but more or less yes. In both cases it's probably not right to level the place because of it.

2
Slav4U 2 points ago +2 / -0

They waged an actual terroristic war for independence. That's about as monolithic as it gets.

Your ignorance knows no bounds. Please read some actual history, preferably in Russian.

This is hilariously retarded, because Chechens have long been the "anti Russian terrorists."

You know absolutely nothing about Russia and the Slavic people.

It's the way of both Ukraine and Russia really. I think there's no question it's a meat grinder though.

This guy is obviously pro Ukrainian, but maintains good maps and casualty counts. You can see the situation in Bakhamut is indeed looking like it will soon fall.

Worth the follow:

Absolutely. Their tactics are still the same meat grinder from the Soviet days. Truly sad.

Of course the arm chair generals here think that it will be a glorious victory, never mind thinking "what comes after" with the massive bill in blood and treasure they couldn't afford even with zero resistance.

Russian population never even recovered from "The Great Patriotic War". Similar now, between folks fleeing and casualties they won't have enough men to run things. Despite popular myth, they have significant immigration from the 'stans, however just like in the US it is slowly changing the culture.

Truly the worst thing about this stupid war is it's destroying Russia. Even if they win, they lose.

Reminds me of my friend arguing with a girl at a bar in Moscow. She was claiming the Soviets won WW2 because they lost millions of people. He said "you call that winning?". There was no response.

Difficult for me to judge perhaps, but visiting some neighbors they actually had TVs installed in the kitchen just to watch CNN. I believe a lot of the commuting normies who want to believe they are educated will listen to NPR in the car.

Maybe I should say "normies who actually vote" rather than the unwashed hordes who don't care about news at all.

That NPR article griping about Florida not allowing kids to have their genitals mutilated has some good news:

"It's hard not to feel like we're losing on a daily basis, which can be very demoralizing. It really does take a toll," she says. "All we can do is keep fighting."

I don't really read NPR, but appreciate the link to normie land, frightening as it is.

There's definitely a bit of subtext here folks are missing. The relationship with Russia is not as rosy as it may appear, and Lukashenko has been fending off attempts at annexation for a while now. It's no doubt he's also under increasing pressure to send his own military into Ukraine.

This looks like he expects it to get worse.

Hey, give the guy a break. It's Monday and he's posting from the St Pete troll farm hoping the gig will hold off his draft notice long enough while he earns the rubles to get his family out.

All his post times are 9 to 5 St Petersburg time. Lolololol

The classic "stop hitting yourself" meme. As always, the retarded kindergarten foreign policy, "do what we want or we kill you".

Equally shocking when people don't want to be killed. This is exactly why Russia continues to fail unfortunately. They could be so much more.

Tell that to the corpses in Georgia. The area was never developed or rebuilt or anything. It makes no sense to YOU is what you mean to say though, and that's because you don't understand the Slavic mindset is very different. It is much more emotional than westerners are used to. As an example, the guy who made the AK-47 really wanted to be a poet in life, a common goal among men. It is literally a mentality that will "cut off the nose to spite the face" and we in the west are not used to it, and fabricate logical reasons when they are in fact acting emotionally. Once you understand that, then it will begin to make sense.

The Russians have no intention of rebuilding anything, only to create more corpses and ghost towns. Again, just look at what happened in Georgia and you have your answer.

You want to believe they are in the right here and can't see the reality. The truth is most Russians have family in Ukraine and vice versa. Most Russians don't really want to kill their aunty or die trying just to go into eternal debt and be ostracized from the world.

Being dead is not a net benefit. You clearly aren't familiar with the history of Russia taking over countries and what happens after. Even in recent history look at Abkhazia. Whole town's just wiped off the map.

The Ukrainians know full well what happens if they lose.
