She says that quotes from their communications cited have both of them specifically referring to "the Russians" when talking about their backers.

IIRC the Steele Dossier made similar statements about Trump's communications.

I don't believe this for a second. You wouldn't refer to "The Russians" being your funders. You'd say "Putin" or the name of the russian organization doing the funding. If you're a complicit spy/propagandist you don't say this AT ALL because you want to be on the up and up and know you're being spied on.

My guess is the actual quotes are more along the lines of "We've got to make sure our funding sources aren't coming from the Russians."

The New York Times IS wrongthink.

I've seen the same thing. I've wondered how much of it is Amazon just preferring the Chinese garbage and how much it's the major brand companies want you to just use their own websites and avoid the "Amazon tax"

Same with Walmart+

It's REALLY interesting because I noticed "Tenet Media" was becoming a prominent thing over the past couple of months. It had always been there in the background (they setup some of the conventions that Tim Pool and some of the other conservative commentators were at last year) but it felt like they were gaining traction and prominence in the streamer space.

I didn't see any hint of "ideological" purity (ala Daily Wire) with whom they were promoting and frankly this all smells of them rerunning the "russia, russia, russia" playbook to attack an effective media firm that could turn more votes.

That the charges were brought by the same corrupt Garland who tried to bury the Hunter Biden investigation, sends out the goon squad to hunt down anybody who doesn't toe the uniparty state and also ignored any and all Ukraine corruption (including the current, zombie President, Biden)... I really don't give this any credence at all.

Been doing this for years. Bob Roberts was an anti-Bush Sr. Movie released just before the election.

Which was ironic because it fit Bill Clinton’s campaign to a T, but the ideology it mocked was all conservative and “conservatives evil”

They stopped selling those? I have one that I actually did keep in my wallet but most of the ink wiped off.

Maybe not "free thinkers" so much as "fedora wearing atheists".

I saw a microcosm of that on Digg where a bunch of "free thinking atheists" started gaming the moderation system to boost their socio-communist ideas. For all their "free thinking" because they rejected conformity and the constraints of "morality and Christianity" but enforced upon themselves the dogmatic beliefs of atheism and socialism.

LGBTQ123 community too. They're so liberal and free thinking but you hit the programming/brainwashing tripwire and boom, it's all NPC talk and conformity.

The guy used to be an independent thinker and now he's a dyed in the wool NPC captured by the mind virus!

It’s so easy to say that we’re all one world and that there shouldn’t be anti-Semitism, there shouldn’t be racism — it’s so easy to be lovey-dovey and peacenik. But I say this without any qualifications: I’ve never experienced any of that (hatred). Never. So every time I’m making an argument that has anything to do with race or misogyny or anti-Semitism, I want to say back to me, “Wait a minute, Penn, you grew up cis male white in Massachusetts — I think you need to shut up.”

I completely have not used the word Libertarian in describing myself since I got an email during lockdown where a person from a Libertarian organization wrote to me and said, “We’re doing an anti-mask demonstration in Vegas, and obviously we’d like you to head it.” I looked at that email and I went, “The fact they sent me this email is something I need to be very ashamed of, and I need to change.”

You younglings...

Let me tell you the story of Dan Quayle, VP candidate who got pilloried for WEEKS in the press because he did a photo-op of running a grade school spelling bee because the kid spelled it as P-O-T-A-T-O but the spelling on the card he was reading from was P-O-T-A-T-O-E and he said the kid was wrong.

DAN QUAYLE CRUSHES CHILDS DREAMS FOR SPELLING POTATO IN THE AMERICAN WAY!

And of course the related slew of SNL and late night jokes.

Russia has not yet run out of money. But, outside the big cities, the problems of spiralling inflation, goods shortages and labour shortages, as emigration exacerbates the impact of conscription and of the diversion of manpower to wartime production, are becoming impossible to disguise, despite the central bank’s best attempts to present the world with optimistic figures.

Conscription aside, how is that any different from the entire west at the moment?

The entire 4,600-person village of Nelson in Caerphilly – which itself was named after a pub – was flagged in a draft version of the audit.

Yes… they’re unpersoning an entire village that had nothing to do with naming the village because wrongthink. “Change the name racists and we might come visit!”

Also flagged was Gladstone’s Library in Hawarden, Flintshire, a memorial library for William Gladstone, a four-time prime minister whose father received compensation for his Caribbean investments when slavery was abolished.

But vote for Kamala…

I bought an XBox Series X (an upgrade from my Xbox One S) in the midst of Covid with the plan of doing some more gaming and... I haven't touched it in nearly 3 years now.

None of the games out there are even worth looking at.

If you had told younger self me that I'd become disenchanted with playing video games...
