Evil cannot create, it can only subvert and corrupt what Good has made. That's why the entertainment industry seems to despise fans of the source material and makes what seems to be arbitrary ridiculous changes. They see something that people like, something Good, and they start slavering, "yessss, we must corrrupt it to our own!"

Not even joking. That is the thought process to many of them: "I am not creative enough to make my own successful IP, so I will take an existing one, and pervert it into being closer to my own ideas and ideology."

I am.

Often for the worse. Rarely for the better. Usually when the manga isn't done yet, but also when the manga goes too long for one season, so they try to change the story to fit within one anime season.

In the current season, The Beginning After The End is getting a lot of flack for changing characterization of the main character to be more psychopathic and stoic to a retarded degree. The original had him need to be the cold ruler out of necessity. The anime instead has him wondering "why does that woman hold that dying man? What purpose does such an act hold?" as if he's never seen another living human before.

A similar change was done in Classroom Of The Elite, where they basically eliminate all emotion and desire from the MC, while in the novels he acknowledges the feelings and suppresses them, rather than simply not having them, which significantly changes how the character is portrayed. (And also makes some of his decisions which WERE, frankly, based on emotion, look even more bizarre and wild since he never shows an ounce of it in the anime prior or after those points.)

On a positive point one, Chrno Crusade outpaced the source material, and made up their ending wholesale. Religious anime so... Satan tries to pop up (explaining why so many demons were earlier in the series), and the church and their pet demon send him back to hell with the power of guns and violence, and the world is safe. Very safe ending, but satisfactory. In the source material? Martian alien skinwalkers PRETENDING to be demons because they're bible otaku. Yeah. It... doesn't work. Now, they just invented a logical ending BEFORE the original ending was made, so it's a different situation, but it clearly did diverge from source material, and wound up much better because of it.

He DOES have major platforms on CNN, NBC, NYT, etc. And from what Lefties told me, if you ever platform anyone for any reason (but ESPECIALLY being supportive of their views!) who goes against any part of the ideology, the entire platform should be shut down!

While it wasn't as short-lived as some of those, I had a PSP. Japanese market it was successful, but American market it was very short-lived indeed. I still play Final Fantasy Duodecim on it from time to time.

Freemium gooner phone games can get hair and fingers right now, for weekly-released slop. The commercial stuff adds that in to make people less afraid of the tech, "proper" tech already exists, and exists plentifully enough to make said phone games. Alphabet agencies working in tandem with Alphabet corporation might not be able to do magic, but they can certainly do a couple minutes of video with high quality when combined with modern film editing software and techniques, given six years to work on it.

They gotta have constantly new fresh off the planes and boats ones, because even the ones who've only lived here 10 years get sick of that party.

If it costs the COMPANY half a billion dollars at the box office, but Blackrock bribes the DIRECTOR directly for ten million dollars, it's net profit to the director to do it.

Hate 'em, but only because we ain't 'em. Every single province and state full of proper patriots would love to have what Quebec has.

Imagine being such a disingenuous loser that basic logic literally cripples you.

On the bright side, this is scientific evidence that, yes, proper belief in Christ possibly can literally cause demons to be damaged by mere strength of faith alone without any actions.

For what it's worth, apparently a "13 year old" aspiring scholar was arrested over this. In a real news article, he was described as "a brown male", which isn't necessarily a specific race but could simply be a descriptor of skin color.

The fact it was apparently filmed makes me think this was very premeditated.

Argentinosaurus.

Dinosaurs are a lot like Orks, they're known for being the biggest and the stompiest. And so, logically, Argentinosaurus, who could theoretically actually simply stomp on a smaller-built T-Rex its so big, is the biggest and stompiest of them all.

And the third checker got a final number 5. Three different numbers! Also the three biggest human-incentivised numbers.

I have a feeling their numbers go up in line with the deadline, and are meant to pass the deadline at just before the end of it, going up onto key psychology numbers, and is completely unrelated to the actual number of donors. Could be wrong, but seems on-schedule for a "just barely".

That number, 48530, is extremely unlikely. "0"s as ending numbers don't happen all that often, but humans love seeing them.

But to be fair to them, I went to their website, and saw 48699 as the number, which is higher than in the screenshot. But 99 is the LEAST likely number from 1-100, numbers-audit-speaking (math is fascinating, how natural courses of things make certain numbers more or less likely to occur in nature).

On the OTHER side of fairness, that screenshot asked for the same amount of money, but in a different denomination. If they "need" money to keep going, why would they be tracking people donating 4USD the same as people donating 15GBP, instead of a running currency total in USD?

It's been translated over and over, and at best we can get a couple varied versions and interpretations. Humans are fallible, after all, and humans made those copies.

I prefer the life lesson of telling a kid "never judge a book by its cover, everyone says that." and then showing them "Math for Grade 3", and asking them what's inside it. The correct answer is elementary math, because people are lying to you. Judge things based on their covers, that's why covers exist. People, too, present themselves in specific ways: A woman in a wedding dress is probably going to a wedding, not a funeral. Judge. Judge as much and as often as you can.

But remember that even though everyone is saying "never judge a book by its cover", those same people made that cover. They, too, judge based on covers. Everyone does. So make sure you're presenting well, too. They will judge you based on your cover, just as you judge them on theirs. "Judge not, lest ye be judged" is crazy, because you are ALREADY judged. It's on you to be aware of it.

A possible scenario:

Canada sends actors/directors, musicians, and sportsmen to the USA, indoctrinated in a self-destructive ideology. Over time, they share this self-destruction with the American public. This erodes public everything as they're culture-defining roles. This reduces their preference for military superpower-dom, and they cut back significantly in the next 100 years, which then allows a real militant nation to attack them in some manner. Thus, it could be said Canada made a "dent".

Also, the phrase should be "make a dent, let alone win". The smaller one first with that turn of phrase.

Either the 26th Chinese province, or the 51st USA state. "Sovereignty" went out the window the moment they voted for more Trudeau, now Canada is up for sale, it's just who is willing to buy the needs-demo-building to get the land value.

They make what sells, and you'll consume product no matter your leanings. Catering to all markets doesn't mean making one product for everyone, it means making many products to cover every demo.

Okay, sure.

To that I say "fuck that". States rights means state oppressions, sometimes. Trump promised to remove tax on tips, he should do so federally and do so promptly and efficiently. He shouldn't stick his dick into State Rights and independence. Even if it would be a good thing. No one should. Not just because it would take much longer and then likely never pass, but because there's purviews in government, and that should be outside his.
