They need to be shown 2023 theatrical box offices, and be told that the people "telling them what the global audience wants" are the same sort of people that fanatically endorse what ended up being the absolute failures of 2023.
It's not even necessarily a bad idea, but you know how it goes with "revolutionizing green ideas:"
-
Government throws way too much money at an idea
-
The rest of the public starts to see that it's too much trouble for its worth, or even worse, the production costs and effects are more damaging than a lifetime of what it's supposed to replace.
-
Government attempts regulation and mandates anyway.
Nintendo is the only one with a good chance at surviving. It still retains its Japanese roots (unlike Playstation), and while it might go a bit too far in protecting its brand at times, it doesn't try to be a monopolous behemoth like Microsoft.
Not many people care that Nintendo platforms have been lower-tech than the competitors, as long as their target audience still views the games as innovative and/or fun.
Hell House, Poltergeist, and Sector 7 Pillar are unforgivable. I was done with the game just before Wall climb.
World is so fucking small, the biggest reason it's padded out to be such a long game is everything slows you down to an obnoxious degree. They made a 40 hour game out of the original opening which I could complete in THREE HOURS. The "twist" is fucking retarded, and doesn't even make sense!
Hell no, I am not sinking money into this shit, even with PC modding options allowing me to have Tifa wearing Nyotengu's unzipped leather suit.
Which eventually reaches the point where your individual Mons are meaningless because you can only win battles using the EXE fusion.
Yeah, definitely a major issue. And I think EXE had a limit to once per day? Boss battles really were impossible without it. That said, one of my most exciting moments was being defeated somewhere, getting pissed about it, only for the main theme to start with a whole bunch of visual effects, as apparently EXE was automatically triggered (and that was how I even learned about it). Straight out of a goddamn anime turnabout moment.
Makes me appreciate Granblue Relink even more, it already had an additional content roadmap where they've confirmed what's coming as free content, but not what might be coming as paid content, yet even the free content is looking pretty nice: an ultimate quest in March, two new playable characters in April, no details yet for May, but there will be more coming.
Elaborate kanji
"It means 'Strength'"
I know two or three different Kanji that can have that sort of meaning, and it wouldn't be any of them.
