For being mostly controlling a single main character (compared to stuff like Dynasty Warriors with bloated casts), I'd say so. Each stance has its own combos and effects:

  • Earth Stance: Defense and Counterattacks

  • Water Stance: Swift, wide sweeping attacks

  • Wind Stance: Ranged magical attacks, advantageous against demons

  • Fire Stance: Full-on strength, increases in power the less HP you have

  • Void Stance: Inhumanly-fast Iaito, its pace can only be maintained as long as you have high HP

And then there's all sorts of gemcraft magic and the Servants you have fighting alongside you, allowing you to (for a short time), play as a different character. Like all Musou games, it'll mostly be simple fodder enemies; it's the leaders, greater demons, and opposing Servants you have to play skillfully against.

How do you feel about Musou? Fate/Samurai Remnant was a pretty decent character-driven game that used the Omega Force combat style, bonus if you're a fan of the TypeMoon franchise.

Possibly. Would make sense in the timeframe. Weren't the Portuguese one of the larger slave markets?

The second coming of Pope Johanna.

Even "retainer to Nobunaga" is too good a title, when great men like Monkey held that title.

Yeah, I remember that too. That said, the Phantom Thieves' Personas were, if not thievery, themed around deception.

It feels weird seeing you call him "monkey." "Monkey" was Hideyoshi Toyotomi, who WAS one of Nobunaga's retainers.

Cool it with the antisemitism.

They were also warned "get woke, go broke." Media corps aren't making profit on ANYTHING right now. Nobody is listening, and they continue to question why they are failing.

Even in the most generous allowance, he would've only been a slave to Portuguese Jesuits trying to form relations with the Japanese. And apparently the research shows that Nobunaga never even met any Portuguese until MONTHS before his demise? No goddamn way could you fit in any story of "Yasuke being bought by Nobunaga and becoming a badass warrior retainer."

"Yasuke" is the modern "Pope Johanna." A figure someone tries desperately to prop up, when there is more than enough evidence to refute their entire existence.

Edit: Yes, I bring up Pope Johanna because she just became an important figure in the latest FGO (english) chapter. Where it actually acknowledges that was all she was.

Wait, why is it their fault? Are they the ones deciding where to set them up? I figured they were a tech contractor, with their client (the respective cities) being the one to determine where the placement goes.

They stopped being Japanese the moment HQ was moved to California. But you knew that.

The only thing I've seen block work on is topics created by the blocked individuals. Not their comments in other topics.

And the gameplay was GOOD.

SHUT THE FUCK UP

CHAOS

(I pirated both this and FF7Rm while they were EGS exclusive. This was the only one I bought when it released on Steam, and I didn't even bother finishing FF7Rm)

I hope your take on this is right. That's the path I'd like to see them go down. Screw making games for "global audiences," when all they wanted in the first place was amazing stuff you made for Japanese audiences.

It's supposed to be something like "Chooty" or "Shooty," but I honestly don't give a damn, he's shown he doesn't deserve that respect.

And this is why Reggie Broccoli was right about transporters. Not to mention Thomas Riker.

Before opening article

Come on, the guy in the thumbnail doesn't look that bad.

After opening article

Kill it with fire. A goddamn lazy slob like me isn't even close to their level of obesity. That's pretty fucking bad, and I am in no shape to call myself healthy (but I'm working on it, currently running keto diet to help lose weight, about halfway to my target after two months).

EDIT: Alright, to be fair, if these guys are going for bodybuilding/strength training, it's not entirely out of the question. They need the weight to pull that off. All top weightlifters do look pretty chunky. If they aren't building muscle under all that fat, holy shit, they are NOT healthy.

I probably am going to have to consider some sort of Linux OS in the future, after complaining about how invasive into your activity so many popular things are, yet here I am still using Windows.
