Think of it like a history book that begins with a chapter or two about writings from various religions on how the universe and Earth were created, and "heroes of old" like titans and monsters. Then it explains what all was going on in the world from the time God first spoke to Abram through the end of the Old Testament. I remember reading that Egypt cycled between greatness and crappiness throughout their dynasties. I think the Assyrians were a force to reckon with for centuries, too. And there was often fighting going on...our World War 1 is really closer to World War 100.
Currently reading Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky. Before that I read Archaeology and the Old Testament by Hoerth, and A Tale of Two Cities before that.
Strange combination but I like to switch it up between popular novels and history books.

The system is set up against all of us. Welfare not only pays for people unwilling to work, but is a major contributing factor for the rise of the single-parent family and all the bad things that come from that. Welfare is like the drug dealer on the street that so many people think and feel they need to survive. And the drug seems so good that even people who don't take it think it's great.
Stop the welfare and there will be a major withdrawal at first (an increase in crime and violence); but over time things will get better. Certainly better than when welfare was around.
It's all speculation; and polls are made to sway voters, not inform them. It may be an interesting read but I hope people aren't getting stressed over it.
I bought Parappa the Rapper in college for that reason. At first my roommates and I had a laugh over it...but the gameplay grew on us and later we started taking it seriously and played it to win it!
They do the same thing with legislation. They promised to pass some groundbreaking tax legislation but "we need the house and the senate to do it." Then they got them. Then they said "we just don't have the votes, we need a supermajority." Then they got very close to one. Then they said "ohh geez you know we still don't have enough votes. And we have other things going on so we'll circle back to this at some point."
Then voters got pissed with them. Then Dems took the house, senate and presidency with Obama. Then the GOP started promising things they knew they couldn't (or didn't want to) deliver all over again.

Not just overnight, but days. Ignoring the fact at least one state allows for three-day-late ballots, there can be all manner of shenanigans going on with computers having "issues" and politically charged election officials saying "we're not going to certify these results in favor of Trump because fuck you" backed up by judges saying "the plaintiffs contesting the democrat officials have no standing because fuck you."
That is literally the cope from the left. "Not ALL the numbers are down you fascist! In fact, go back to 2020 and we're way up!!!" It's almost like lifting scamdemic restrictions benefitted the jobs numbers somehow...
They know the importance of optics and imagery. I remember seeing old news footage of people marching in the streets holding up massive pictures of martyrs or the Ayatollah trying to get their side totally fired up and ready for fighting.

People laughed at hippies for being drugged out pleasure seekers; then hippies got older and filled our modern institutions. Polls are made to influence people. The historic formula in MSM polls is to have the democrat take a strong lead for much of the election so that people will question how popular their own beliefs are and hitch their star to a winner. Then as the election cometh, the polls slowly converge to a neck-and-neck race for two reasons: First is to provide cover in case the final tally is far different from the fake polls, and second is to get viewers staring at their television sets until they see which candidate will win in a photo finish.
Young starry-eyed graduates who think it's the coolest job in the world and have enough energy to work 80+ hour weeks for a lousy salary that's still better than food service.

I sometimes go to a 64-player server to decompress. It's enjoyable chaos all around; including the global voice chat where people are trolling each other or just making ridiculous idle conversation that would probably result in a ban in most other games.
Speaking of which, where did all those 80 million Democrat votes go? It's like a huge chunk of the entire base from 2020 stayed home? /s
