Subjective doesn't mean useless

Journos reviews/scores are unreliable because of financial or political incentive & game journos nowadays don't even like games.

As long as you are aware of a bias- especially if it aligns with yours- you will still be better informed than going in blind. If a friend or trusted reviewer says they like/dislike a game, a scale is useful for quantifying how much.

It doesn't need to be a perfect system to be useful.

Scores from journalists don't mean anything. Scores on a personal scale are accurate measures of their enjoyment of a product. Subjective doesn't mean useless, only biased to an individual's preference.

A 6/10 would be an oasis in a desert of 2's at this point. An 8 is practically legendary in <current year>

mogs Dustborn

My guy, literal shovelware and asset flips are mogging Dustborn. It's hardly possible to be more mogged without releasing the game in secret. XD

I'm pretty sure you don't get into the "big club" without them having dirt on you.

You can't make me excited for the new phase without getting me excited to watch every preceding shitshow I would need to endure to get up to date on all the references.

tl;dr fat fucking chance

We need you to attend our movies

We know. That's why it's funny and we're not going even harder.

I mean to say they fear we might find out what they ACTUALLY deserve rather than the tip of the iceberg they are getting punished for now.

1
Indipendepede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Exactly. We aren't engaging in cancel culture. They are facing consequences for violent speech.

1
Indipendepede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Simple; this isn't cancel culture, this is consequences for terrible behaviour. Labelling something cancel culture should be reserved for punishment over inconsequential transgressions.

That's not cancel culture; that's consequences. Part of your duty- maybe even explicitly stated in the hiring contract- in being a teacher is to not be a danger to children. Being a pedo naturally falls into that category and is why background checks are required when working with children.

it's been done so much on the left, the return volley is now scary to them

They aren't afraid because of what they imagine we might do, but because of what they think they deserve.

Nah, cancel culture was and should always mean "getting fired for legal behaviour outside of work". Unless you are committing criminal or damaging acts, you shouldn't have to worry about losing your livelihood. Even then, as they often do, criminals should be able to earn a living after time served.

Not to mention the scenario deliberately left out the collateral death and injury from shooting Trump

23
Indipendepede 23 points ago +23 / -0

To believe it was staged, you would need the kind of firearm illiteracy that lets you believe cops should disarm criminals by shooting the weapons out of their hands. Sadly, the description "firearm illiterate" fits leftards perfectly.

That's because it's not Conservative, it's Con-servative. Con-tainment.

You could be fully jabbed with all the boosters and vaxmaxxing, but still find mandatory medical "treatments" objectionable.

The filthy proles have ruined MY democracy!

I guess "the continent" is a new euphemism for globohomo or whatever shadowy cabal those faggots are a part of, 'cuz it's sure as hell not in the interests of Europeans.

The best way to get perspective is to find someone with 100IQ and realise about 1/2 the world population is at least as stupid or worse.

psychic stench

I misread that as trench and, yeah, there's a huge, gaping chasm between humanoid animal characters and furries. It's like the difference between a character that's black and a black character; people can sense the intention of the author behind their work and instinctually reject fringe preferences. Luckily, it often percolates throughout their work and is as easily identifiable as other red flags of corruption like CalArts.
