This is completely accurate, and I have personally observed it over the years. Another weird migration pattern I found, when I visited Puerto Rico, every third person I met (and basically all of the English speakers) were retirees from Pennsylvania. I guess they were trying to avoid the New Yorkers in Florida so went a little further.

As long as they don't cook Ralph over the edge by just never stopping counting in Atlanta and Savannah like the last two elections, we'll have a runoff this December where those libertarian votes SHOULD go to Herschel by logic. But libertarians confuse everybody all the time with how they vote, so who knows.

That event has roused emotions in me each time I've done it. There's something, peculiar, about seeing the game director smiling at you and directly thanking you for enjoying what he made.

"Never let 2020 happen again"

This encapsulates everything very neatly: Race riots. Media lies. Fraudulent election. Scam epidemic. Economic breakdown. Overt technocratic excess. Full and total assault on basic American rights (free speech, assembly, face your accuser, bear arms, and many others).

His only challenge will be to explain his part in the breakdown, but that is frankly a simple ask. Because the left has never let up on him and continue to blame him for every ill since he's been gone and continues their witch-hunt persecution of him in his own home years on, all he has to do is say:

"They began this in 2016. They were flummoxed and dismayed when we won. They schemed and seethed every day to destroy what we were trying to build. They ran a totally fraudulent congressionally backed quasi-legal assault against me personally for 4 solid years that started with them sending spies into my actual election campaign before I was even elected.

They failed at every turn. They tried impeachment after impeachment. Even attempted impeachment after I wasn't even president anymore, something that has never been done and likely isn't even technically possible, but they tried it. They failed. And failed and failed. And it drove them crazy.

In their totally deranged state, they unleashed every hellish and apocalyptic attack they could muster, not against me, but against you. They sent Antifa into your peaceful streets to loot and burn. They created a worldwide panic and engineered an economic collapse around a disease that we now know was not that bad, all for the sake of carnage. Misery and pain are their favorite weapons and they wield them mercilessly against the American people, not caring about the consequences so long as in all the havoc and mayhem they were able to Steal a Presidential Election.

Anyone who recognized what was going on, anyone who raised a hand in dissent, were quashed by Social Media Overlords working hand in hand with the American Government, the British Government, the CHINESE Government, who felt that bypassing the First Amendment was as easy as asking the 'private sector' to do it for them.

These Tech Tsars colluded to actively prevent ME, the actual current American President, from speaking truth to the public. That did not bother them in the slightest, they were gleeful and happy to do it. How much less, then, do you think they regard you individually? You are beneath their contempt. They wouldn't even care if you died.

As your next president, I promise you this: The gloves are off. We won't be draining the swamp this time. We'll be bulldozing it. No one guilty will be ignored, we will pursue justice for ourselves and all future generations. Elections will be made sacred. Law and Order will be restored. Big Media and Big Tech will be scrutinized, and their cushy deals and government connections will be laid bare and reconsidered publicly before you all.

We will not allow a culture of intimidation, bullying, fear, cancellation, fake-news, and fake-politics to become America's normal. We'll Make America Great Again. Again."

Just a little spitball though-experiment. I think it came out fairly well.

Just look at how fast they lynched Nikki Manaj for daring to ask a fucking question about mandatory jabs. They have to keep their farm animals under the closest of watch lest they illuminate the farce by showing even a semblance of individuality. Nothing sends a democrat into orbit faster than losing control of a black celebrity.

It's funny what they dismiss as outrageous without examination. Almost some sort of politically inclined pre-filter at play.

From the top:

  • Whether Obama's birth certificate was fake wasn't the scandal, what degree of fundamental and obvious thing would be ignored by the system and the media, WAS. And ultimately, what he submitted in lieu of a proper certificate was a "fuck you for asking" document. A provisional certificate from a scandalous era of Hawaii giving them out to anyone asking as a way of bypassing US immigration law. "Sanctuary Cities/States" aren't a new concept.
  • Antifa did start wildfires. Antifa IS a network with central planning and direction. Calling them "Antifa International" is shorthand conveyance of that reality. Unfortunately, Snopes, technical snark doesn't erase simple messaging that is correct.
  • Cultural Marxism: As Jung said famously, "People don't have Ideas. Ideas have people." Identifying the ideology that we oppose doesn't make them into a cabal of cigar smoking X-Files villains. Sorry, you're not that cool, communists. But sadly for the rest of us, you are quite real and an intense menace.

Throw the things you don't want to think about in with a list of made-up shit from movies and kooks. This was written by an intellectual ostrich.

CN programming has been trash for nearly a decade. They lost their audience slowly with every new garbage show, and quickly with every remake of an old show that shat all over itself on purpose to purge the 'wrong' fans. It was definitively wokeness at work.

They consistently added the wrong people over that time frame. A huge part of it was nepotistic 'friend-hiring' that started after Pendleton Ward hit it big and the "CalArts" schools were seen as a potential gold mine of new talent (late 00's). But over and over they leaned into politics, turned characters gay suddenly, put more women in the writing room for no other reason than to get a liberal rag to write a puff piece about them.

This happened in all animation at the same time, Disney and Nickelodeon suffered identical devolutions (from a lot of the same people, seriously CalArts grads are cancerous and unprofessional as a concrete rule). The difference with CN is that it is owned by a company that was bought out by a hatchet-man. And he is a-hatcheting with ruthless glee.

Was CN woke? Yes. Is that why viewership was suffering? Yes. Is that why it is cancelled? Technically no, but also yes. If it were doing well this wouldn't be happening, but it isn't doing well for the reasons given, and so Zazlov says "So Long Gay Bowser" and yeets them off the cliff.

If I were them, I'd avoid this story. I've read many a 'journalistic' article that seemed like a head-trauma patient wrote it. They'll fail whatever test they propose.

However, I reckon where this is really going is academic monitoring software installed on all your personal devices. Schools have already been pushing spyware shit that lets them activate your webcam and scan your room (even in college dorms). Now they'll want every file on your harddrive in case you're hiding an evil AI somewhere.

Evolve with the times. Standardized education was always a game to be beaten.

Throwing that guy out the window is correct here. If you're trying to say the first two things are less of a problem than JEWS then you are the twat. I assume your handle isn't ironic and you actually are a 'postmodernist' who is screaming out JEWS, and you should take that last panel as a warning to reel your neck back in instead of shitting up the place with your spam.

Yes, that is what is happening. It is the babies who are being aimed at. No adults need worry at all.

It is a semantic game. As they argue here, there is no censorship, only 'editorial discretion' evoking the notion that they are deciding what to publish based on many factors such as profitability rather than the mere disagreement with the content. But they betray the game by claiming that 'editorial discretion' applies after the content is already available (deleting a comment they don't like) when that is NOTHING like deciding what to publish in your newspaper that only has 20 pages... you're literally going into people's mailboxes and ripping out one of the pages after it was delivered in this analogy. That is not editorial anything, that is theft, and clearly CENSORSHIP.

It's the opposite, but sure, Vox. These laws restrict what those platforms can do TO their users and what they are allowed to constitute as bad behavior. Protecting citizens against platform bias and the ideological capture that has already taken place is here reframed as taking control of the platform itself. Only in the most technical of philosophical framing would this be true.

The fact is that these platforms have invited this kind of oversight by hiding behind federal protections designed to encourage free speech and abused the language of those to justify actually curtailing speech. Literal cake having + eating with constantly flaunted double standards and tongue wagging has led to this attempt to rein that abuse back in.

It is also painfully clear that the mainstream platforms have been pushed and encouraged by ONE of the major political parties to behave in just this way. Judicious reinterpretations of law, careful ignoring of bureaucratic policy outcomes, and media partnerships to fluff up the "but it's for the good of democracy" angle whenever Obama weaponizes Facebook ads to mine electorate data in the "most technically savvy campaign ever conducted" but the exact same behavior framed as the end of the world when a conservative firm runs a user poll in 2016.

This article is just another attempt at that. Tactics bad when Republicans want it, or new regulation has language that might actually stifle one of their beloved and profitable hustles.

Things that are racist according to this chart: segregation. Things that are also racist according to this chart: teaching math, verifying that math was learned, and NOT SEGREGATING.

I see you skipped logic in your curriculum as well.

Disney was allowed to buy Fox. There shouldn't be any monopoly investigations ever again.

Edit: I just noticed this was UK. This will not stop anything. Microsoft will release another "Windows N" as a middle finger.

The plot seems to be... white orcs are forcing black elves to dig a trench through an entire country to go unseen. Wide shot shows they're covering the trench (not even a tunnel, come on) with cloth... which is painfully obvious for miles. They could have marched through in a week, but no, laying the foundation for the great china wall makes them invisible for... years?

Sheeva and Sindel retcons / redesigns as DLC that were aggressively bad (Sindel), combative (both), and man-hating (Sheeva). Both written and marketed (don't know why they thought it was a good idea to put him up front in the PR) by a wackado new hire whose name I've since forgotten.

They were so sensitive about any criticism of these points they banned a player from an official tournament for naming his Sheeva variation "Why Did NRS do This?" Bunch of weak wristed anti-fun current year punks who baited me into buying a game then slipping that in after launch.

So now, I haven't spent any money on Multiversus, and I think God for that. Because I don't have to feel remorse now as I pull out and say goodbye to it.

Guyven 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don't rule out that there was that stuff, but I'm mainly referring to Sheeva and Sindel's treatment when they were added to the roster after I had bought the game. Their stories, characterization, and appearances were retconned into stupidity for modern-day political reasons. Two of my favorite characters are now, in the case of Sheeva, ugly and mannish as fuck, vociferously misandrist, and de-sexed. In the case of Sindel, de-sexed, uglified, and her redemption arc retconned as "she was evil the whole time" for a very stupid reasoning involving giving her total agency as a woman. "I was never duped into doing bad things, I was actually evil and you liking me when I came clean was the actual lie."

It especially sucked that Sheeva had an actual fun kit, but I was told in no uncertain terms in every round start and round end quote that she wasn't for me and she hated me and I should die.

Both were casualties of hiring a man-pretending-to-be-woman as a writer late into development. Fuck all of that noise.

Robocop and Rambo can't save a game that has already told me that it hates me. My fun is already killed.

Every player and commentator loved Velma calling the cops. Running from that cop car was hilarious and universally enjoyed. The people who didn't like it were not players in any serious sense, they were the viewers of the game's promotional vids on twitter and youtube. For THOSE assholes, they have done this. They also cater to this audience in their official discord, so of course it's all seal-clapping in the only places they listen.

Easy uninstall. I don't need to wait for a more 'egregious' bit of censorship. The table is already set, and I don't need to be here for it.

Biggest upside, I actually didn't spend money on a WB game that fucked me after the fact with patched-in woke stupidity this time. MK11 still burns my chaps.

Tencent poached their way into the proceedings by acquiring the Hong Kong development partner. Insinuation here is that they tried to leverage that into actual control of the game rights for the Tolkien IP, which I find easy to suspect was the whole point of insinuating themselves in the first place.

That said, the game would have been trash trying to reinforce the 'new' take on Tolkien, so good riddance.
