The original series was progressive for an era with more popular contemporaries like Beverly Hillbillies, Gomer Pyle USMC, and The Andy Griffith Show. As you've already figured out, progression is relative. What was pushing the envelope in the 60's is now practically wholesome and family-friendly 60 years later.
"Star Trek was always a woke show...it's not for you right wingers, yadda yadda yadda"
Not sure where the their idea that "this is/wasn't for you" came from. Maybe saying you wouldn't be the target audience of the day, or mentally connecting it to the modern regressive mantra (the part before begging you to make it profitable).
Modern Star Trek is an example of how post-Christian thinking has worked it's way into writing.
The interplay between Spock and McCoy in TOS is arguably where this kind of writing got its start. Cold, unfeeling logic almost always beats out heated emotions or instinct. You'll also see blind faith against probability rewarded, to be fair.
The argument could be made that there were different goals in mind between this stunt and the USSR propaganda.
This stunt is an advertisement aimed towards AWFL women, fluffed up by allied media as a progressive achievement. The USSR was appealing to the common man domestically and abroad.
It may not matter if the people not being targeted reject the respective media. Bezos already has a healthy number of allies and dedicated investors that won't waver because of some negative social media reaction.
Erm, excuse me, but you're supposed to forcibly split up the family in this scenario.
What's troubling is the overarching push to end online anonymity between this and what has been discussed in the UK.
Subheader:
Ubisoft may be forced to overhaul its data practices and scrap mandatory online connections for single-player titles.
Nice.
Second sentence of article body:
Just as fans were raving about Assassin's Creed Shadows and its stunning take on feudal Japan, a bombshell dropped:
So much wrong.
That testimony might be more convincing if the alleged victim wasn't able to speak it.
I might suggest there's a little more to that theory: The context within the local area.
By the time St. Floyd ascended, there had been a few other recent and controversial deaths by police in or near Minneapolis. This coming on top of the big rise of 'black lives matter' nationally.
Jamar Clark, killed after going after ambulance workers and stealing an officer's gun when they attempted to detain him.
Philandro Castile, failed to listen to officer's instruction to stop while pulling out a gun (presumed to merely present to officer since admitting to owning with permit).
Justine Damond, tried to get attention of officers in vehicle and drew fire from Somali officer shooting past his partner to the opposite window.
This interview from Slate has an adequate overview of how things progressed.
I would add that the initial video of Floyd made it seem like Chauvin’s actions were totally egregious. People were incensed over how long he kneeled 'on' Floyd, how bystanders essentially pleaded for mercy to deaf ears. Other officers just standing by (more or less).
Against your point, there were a number of conservatives who initially sympathized with Floyd. People didn't know about the criminal history (or the fentanyl I think) until after the worst rioting. Only the fake $20 bill, which arguably shouldn't have been a death sentence
'Could' yes. Be aware of where this is. Minneapolis is the site of St. Floyd's ascension. It is the area that is happily represented by Ilhan Omar. This doesn't change until the people do.

Why did Austin Metcalf's father send a black guy from "Team Black Males" to go confront this guy [Jake Lang]? what is going on
Here's the video:
Thanks for the context. I had just seen that she had a different confrontation yesterday:

This guy in a dress wanted me to apologize for using the word “babe.” Told him no. That I didn’t care if he was offended.
And then I dropped the word tr*ns, fast. Look what happened next.
Two times in a week! What are the chances?
You might not be wrong.
Reynolds, who is representing herself in her Brooklyn Federal Court age-discrimination case against the US Navy, claimed she was “sworn into” the Navy in Brooklyn in 2018 but “was never assigned anywhere or deployed.”
Reynolds filled out “enlistment paperwork” in 2019, according to the Navy, which had “no record of service” for her.
It’s time we stopped asking for permission, withdrew our labour, our brilliance, ourselves – and leave them to stew in their nostalgia. Let them keep their kingdoms, mistaking walls for strength and xenophobia for sovereignty. We’ll build something better.
You wonder when the supremacy rhetoric will finally get them to try making it out on their own.
By all means, yes, please do take off and make your utopia without white people. Take away the common friction between us and let one side fall apart.
Right after the Fuhrer's birthday, no less.
Yep.

Today I met with the Holy Father Pope Francis. I am grateful for his invitation to meet, and I pray for his good health.
Happy Easter!
He apparently showed the slightest nerve today by delaying some press conference held by the euphemism (or his family/representative?), simply by being there until forced out.
Who said cancer could only win once?
Well, he tried anyways.
He didn't go somewhere he wasn't wanted
With Kyle's case, he volunteered himself to protect property in a presumably hostile environment (or seeing from the other side, open carried to oppose a presumed peaceful protest). Obviously the property owner would be glad for this, but regressives would tell you that Kyle didn't belong there just like Karmello.
BernieVtuber seems to have it right (and apparently liked by the screenshotter).
Trying to bring positive attention to yourself can also bring negative attention from the envious, potential competitors, or those who dislike your taste. Lend in a culture that encourages conflict/competition and a wide variety of tastes, and you end up with several people who will want you to conform to the norm.
Next and possibly last Walsh film: What is Violence?
There's apparently a thing called the "fentanyl fold," when a user bends over, but supposedly it isn't exclusive to fent.

Dr. Daniel Ciccarone, UCSF professor of addiction medicine, said what he calls the “nod” is a common side effect of opioid use.
“It’s not much different than the experience of being in a boring lecture and falling asleep,” Ciccarone said. “It’s a version of losing consciousness. But not to the point of losing consciousness –– they’re still conscious.”
These nods have always happened to varying degrees with other opioids, particularly heroin. The nods with fentanyl, however, seem to be more extreme, Ciccarone noted. And it’s often a sign that a person has taken too strong a dose, he said.
“What you’re witnessing is the balance point between passing out –– when you lose all muscular control and are on the floor –– versus some small remnant of consciousness that is keeping the person upright,” he said.
Fentanyl, which can be up to 50 times more potent than heroin, can induce this “low point of consciousness,” which is believed to be euphoric, Ciccarone said.
“As opioids get stronger, the nod gets deeper,” he said. “The dials are just being turned down. Consciousness, breathing, muscular control are going down … and this is just one of the visible signs of it.”
Funny that it doesn't even mention the aliens. If she didn't mention racism, it could have been reframed to be against any current bad thing.
