From the trailer the only things that worry me are the weird 20th century pixie haircut on the love interest at the party and perpetuating the myth that Napoleon just started blasting historic monuments in Egypt, but otherwise looks great. This might be the first film in a while I actually pay money to see.
To go off of the reconstruction aspect of what you said, I recommend researching the election of 1876. It has a lot of the wacky antics and controversy that 2020 had, but with both parties making shady backroom deals to decide the president in exchange for political favors like removing aspects of reconstruction. Not that they would ever do that again...
This is so horrible and you have my deepest sympathies for what you have had to go through.
This kind of stuff is exactly what I fear from my family and why I have ensured that I am completely independent from them since I turned 18. The covid nonsense has just made everything even worse. My family used to be fairly logical and reasonable, but more and more has happened to seemingly indoctrinate them down this path that pushes them away from me.
I hope that you are able to find new people and pets to provide the support that you deserve in your life.
I just don't see it personally. CP77's worst offenses were annoying web celebrity cameos. Those came nowhere close to the woke mess that is was the outer worlds. Although Cyberpunk ran fine on my pc so that probably biased my experience of the game.
It's been a long time since I've researched the French Revolution, but I recall the Titus Cut being a very short fad and not styled the same way, and usually with the hair worn "up" to make it look shorter than it actually was. Thanks for bringing that up though I had forgotten about it.
