There are useful idiots supporting this who are lower on the totem pole but this is about the establishment maintaining power. You flood your country with foreigners who will buy things and take on debt. This keeps the debt based economy going effectively kicking the can down the road. Even more the government gives the foreigners handouts each month and luxury hotel rooms, now the establishment has just bought support from the new arrivals. Next comes the amnesty where these hordes are given the right to vote. The native White population’s political power is now diluted and they’re surrounded by savages who support the establishment.

There is a ton of great AI research and open source models coming out of China. The models from what I’ve seen are usually quite uncensored, at least when inference is run in English. Tencent just released a text to video model that would make Trust and Safety departments in the West piss their pants.
