They could have given her three 10s (for whatever clown world reason) and people would still be mocking that spectacularly uncoordinated display.
I remember renting games when I was a kid. Game renting was how I found out Pikmin was worth playing, just from the box art grabbing my attention.
You know, people nowadays love to throw out sales numbers as to why certain classic games weren't actually as popular as their following would have you believe. But they always ignore the fact that rentals and game sharing were a huge thing back in the day.
"Hail, hail Robonia! A country I didn't make up!"
All five of them.
Can you spell what you can't define?
I really is a strange phenomenon. I can't imagine how exhausting it must be to constantly avoid being genuine.
I know some of them censor "no no words" like kill and suicide, because the internet is for literal infants according to our overlords....
Super Mario Bros Wonder was alright.
Death of The Author only applies to authors they want dead.
The faces are unsettling to me. It's clear they're trying to ape the DCAU style, but there's something missing in the way they move.
Then again, maybe I'm just an overly analytic animation sperg, and I'm seeing things to confirm my bias.
They're either evil, or so disgustingly incompetent the results are just as bad as if they were evil. (E.G. The Secret Service.)
Unironically, yes. It's like spoiling a kid. You think you're helping them, but you're actually stunting their development and making things worse.
Public Flogging. These people live with no fear.
I can think of several games with peak voice acting. Unfortunately, they're all from the 90s and 2000s. So, you know, back when gaming was unambiguously good.
God wants to forgive everyone, but some people are going to be separated from him for eternity. Why? Because they don't want to repent. Mercy can only be given to those who actively repent. We're called to offer forgiveness to all, but it only works if they genuinely want it.
Look at the parable of the man who's debt to the King was forgiven. When he turned around and squeezed his own debtor, the King immediately rescinded his own forgiveness and held him accountable, because he was not repentant. It's a two way street.
It happened. It sucked. Everyone involved is dead. Nobody is doing it now, so things are good. The end.
It's the obsession with records and being remembered combined with the participation trophy mentality. They forget that most of the time, the people we actually remember as "the first" actually did something genuinely impressive, like Neil Armstrong being the first man on the moon. By creating an infinite number of mundane "Firsts" to claim, the value of those records dissolves to sheer inflation.
Okay, Kylo Ren,
- The closest thing to a Mega Man Metroidvania are the ZX games. Or X Corrupted, if we're talking fangames. The Classic and X games are all stage-select based.
- You talk like I don't play other games. Why am I not also allowed to be a fan of one particular franchise?
Goodbye, ever getting a good Mega Man game ever again....
I know the odds were already slim, but MAN.
There's another quote, I can't remember who said it. It basically boils down to "The person who wants to prevent people from escaping is, by nature, a jailer."
I have claimed that Escape is one of the main functions of fairy-stories, and since I do not disapprove of them, it is plain that I do not accept the tone of scorn or pity with which 'Escape' is now so often used. Why should a man be scorned if, finding himself in prison, he tries to get out and go home? Or if he cannot do so, he thinks and talks about other topics than jailers and prison-walls?
-J. R. R. Tolkien
You misunderstand. He's saying that Lightsabers are the only thing Disney thinks is iconic.
My parents have a story about when I was a toddler, my preferred candidate was "Mr. Clinton."
Which passage is a forgery?
I have one that I made... A decade ago, at this point. I barely touched it, never saw the appeal in Twitter, even before it went off the rails.
