Everyone currently getting work in Hollywood has sold their soul.

I don't understand why there are so many trans people in the military. Were they trans going in or were they just weirdos who had too much exposure to dicks in the barracks? Is it a tactic to get promoted? It seems to be extremely effective.

Also, listening to the community does not necessarily mean blindly obeying. Gamers love hate and will dog pile anything that gets whatever laser pointer pointed at it. But if your game mechanic legitimately sucks they'll point it out. Stupid nitpicks like "let us pet the cat" are a given but I've seen legitimately good ideas pop up.

Fuck rebooting games, they need to reboot studios.

Clear out the DEI hires and promoters, purge the HR departments and bring back the project managers who give a shit about quality rather than pronoun quantity. Privately owned and answerable to nobody. No "concerned board members", no consultancy caterers. Give the community a microphone and actually listen to it instead of hiring some diaper enthusiast to monitor a subreddit.

I know these things are impossible. We need a surge in new, privatized game development.

Damn, they called the player characters "Freegunners"?

That's cringey as fuck.

You might be joking but I love this movie for the campy, desperate flaws it has. It's the Godfather of "so bad it's good" and great for just having something on the screen to fall asleep to.

Every one of these are things these same people have cried were evil, dastardly tactics of far-right abuse, supremacy, and HATE.

Yet these are in the game as points of pride, justice, and virtuous signature moves used by ultra liberals.

Maybe PROJECT was too OP and had to be cut from the game.

Haunting: Starring Polterguy, 1993. Keep the isometric camera, rework the respawn segments in the afterlife.

The Darkness, 2007

Space Marine, 2011

I know it's newer, but I'd love to see Arkham Knight updated for modern hardware.

I'll never forget that they said he was "full of life" and "sharp as a tack" on the day of the debate where he destroyed his career by being neither. Earlier this year, the press secretary Raggedy Ann woman claimed he clocked in a 187 on an IQ test, making him the most intelligent man to ever hold the office (they had this declared false when it was time to start demanding he be replaced).

He could kick a turd down his pants leg on stage in front of the world and they'd rave about how he was lazer-focused on his speech and how he healthy and firm his stool is, proving his commitment to eating properly.

They can't touch anything having to do with Islam unless they get it 100% right and the Muslims are the protagonists, otherwise they come to the studio and throw a little peaceful tantrum.

Almost like it was made by a bunch of... talentless freaks.

It's such a random label that obviously doesn't apply. It's like some exec went to their studio to give them all a lecture about this flop and now they're carrying that phrase with them to unleash it on anyone who crosses them, like a schoolyard bully unloading what their parents called them onto the other kids.

Someone did the math and every copy this game sold cost Sony somewhere around $217,000 after development costs.

They can't even get the PSN store in coherent shape. It's just random shit listed in no particular order, yet we're the talentless ones.

Possibly, sure. I hate to use the term but personalities are on a spectrum and it would take a study to sort it all out. Part of me would be afraid to read the results because we might find out that there are a growing number of people who think only in emojis.

I think about the amount of people who have no internal monologue a lot. If having it is the actual wiring of the brain or just a different kind of filter that demands everything be articulated in case it needs to be spoken. They say only half of everyone has it and neither side knows the other exists. It's unnerving.

I've also heard that a lot of people think in printed words, seeing their thoughts lined up in their mind in real time like newspaper type.

These things can't be a measure of intelligence, there are way too many people who are genuinely smart that fall into either category. It just seems strange.

Is this person in the chair controlling that other operator by remote like some kind of golem Frankenstein?

If you see this girl's face in close-up shots, it looks like they made her mixed race too. If I'm wrong it's just awful facial design.

Cinemablend just dropped an article about how it's "such a shame to hear this" because the turd gargler of a writer they employ got emotionally invested in having the cliffhangers resolved and was hopeful they'd include a young Palpatine, even though that would fuck up the timeline by a few decades. It reads like a love letter some 15 year old would drop in his lover's locker after being dumped.

"...Still, given how the Star Wars franchise is one of the key cornerstones of the Mouse House’s streaming service, I assumed that would have given The Acolyte some leeway to run at least another season, if not several. Clearly I was wrong... I sincerely hope that Star Wars doesn’t abandon this corner of the franchise. Namely, it’s be great if these cliffhangers could be resolved in either a book, a series of books or a comic series... These are questions that deserve to be answered rather than just ignored."

Playing with squeakers (kids) was always a red flag that you were about to have an awful time, and now kids are dumber and more arrogant than ever. So many games are toxic by default just because they don't do enough to make griefing difficult. Unless a game has a devout following after a few years which tends to favor good team play after the tards have got tired of it (think Deep Rock Galactic), then fuck it.

Equally entertaining are the reviews for Dustborn, which releases the same day. The game is complete shit but it's essentially "DEI: The Game" with a strong "fuck conservatives" slant. The action in the game is literally fighting with words as you yell at people. The villains are white people following a bad president. Not kidding.

It's complete shit but they're trying to rate it as high as possible because DEI. The struggle is that it's so bad they can't justify any scores higher than around a 7. Reviews will say things like "succeeds as an artistic project" and "tells a compelling story" while also dropping subtle hints like "fails as a video game" and "deserves compassion".

In as far as hordes of zombies got with the technology of the time and coordination of the AI and general variety.

Also because they didn't become zombies from a bee sting.

This game was never that good. Remaster it all you want, but it was one of those games that made a lot of mistakes that other games had to learn from. Short of rebuilding some very annoying game mechanics, this won't be as successful as the resident evil remakes.

Left 4 Dead came out two years after this and made it obsolete unless you're extremely into tongue-in-cheek stuff like running on top of the zombies' heads or in-game cosplay.
