Around the turn of the 20th century, secret societies were all the rage, that's something like a cross between a frat and the freemasons. They all had weird titles and robes. Some of them are still around. The KKK was modeled in the same vein.

Isn't diversity great? Every conflict in the world, played out in small, right outside your window.

"Dar'shun"? This has got to be a parody account, right?

Is that a meaningful difference?

We have always been at war with sexual preference.

The joke is of course that it's due to all of this "anti"-discrimination bullshit that white people are better behaved, at least in low-end jobs where you don't get because of connections.

As you say, you can kick a white man out pretty easily. So if a white man makes trouble, causes drama, doesn't do his job, whatever - he won't last long. You don't see shitty white people in low-end jobs that often because they'll get fired before you see them. On top of that, if a white man actually wants to keep his job, he'll do his best to at least stay out of sight.

If you fire a minority on the other hand, now you get to go explain to a judge why you didn't do it just cuz he black. It's not (yet?) generally that hard to win that provided you didn't actually fire him cuz he black, but it does take some time, money, and effort. That raises the threshold for taking action, which means minorities get away with more. The minorities in turn know this and feel free to make use of the situation.

Result: the white people are doing the bulk of the work and the minorities are causing most of trouble.

You do see shitty white people in high-end jobs - in that case it tends to be the grand poobah's idiot nephew or the like, whom nobody dares touch because of that. Those people are protected similarly to the minorities albeit in a different manner, and then the shittiness comes out.

No one in California has ever owned a slave. No one in California has ever been a slave.

Given how many immigrants there are and how widespread slavery sadly still is across the world, I really doubt this.

Of course that's not what they're talking about.

As much as I'd like to boycot these people, I'm already not enough of a hipster to buy anything from them in the first place.

So maybe they do this because the marketing department says all their customers are anti-Trump already.

It's no doubt the complaint about mold that got her into trouble.

There is very little difference between the views of men and women on abortion, and there hasn't been since at least the 70s. Women are slightly more likely to take an extreme stance (it should either be always legal or always illegal), and men are slightly more likely to say that it should be legal but restricted. But even that difference is small.

Moreover, overall support for abortion has changed little since the 70s.

I'm not sure. Yes, Antifa aren't going to want to stop, but let's not pretend the government isn't perfectly capable of making them stop.

The problem is it's all happening in Democrat states, and the Democrat state governments refuse to stop them. Trump isn't actually a dictator, he can't just order the state governments around. The Dems are allowing it to make Trump look bad. If Biden wins I wouldn't at all be surprised if they cracked down on it immediately. It'd make Biden look like the saviour to all the normal people who just want the rioting to stop.

Don't forget that most of the rioters are just there to have fun, basically. It's not politics for them, it's an excuse to act out and maybe steal some stuff. They're emboldened by the lack of government response. If there's even a hint of a crackdown being imminent, they'll all scatter; the actual hard core is probably tiny and easily arrested once the hangers-on leave.

These things are slow at the best of times. Certainly nothing is going to happen before November, and if Biden is elected then nothing at all will happen. Also, if you complain right now, you open yourself up to retaliation. If Trump wins you'll probably get yours after a few years, but if he loses you're SOL. If you're going to complain at all, you'd best wait until Trump gets his second term.

There's also the possibility that Trump just forgets about it. The permanent bureaucracy is pozzed, they're not going to cooperate of their own free will. Trump can make them, but he'll have to sit on top of it. If he just tells them to stop, assumes that means they'll stop, and doesn't look into it any further, then they obviously won't stop.

Ah. Whoosh, I guess. I hadn't seen that before.

They're succeeding now while hardly firing a shot, from the looks of things, because Europe won't defend itself.
