I think having a gun in such a situation is and should be protected by the Constitution though. Don't get me wrong, I'm not losing sleep over it. He was almost undoubtedly a terrible person. But the administration needs to get its messaging right.

To be fair, I wouldn't blame him for reaching for his holster after a shot went off.

But the issue with many people is they look at this and everything else through the lens of "ICE are bad and are out to start trouble." People seem convinced ICE started this altercation for no reason other than looking at it through that lens. The videos we have are quite short and absolutely do not show the start of this guy's interactions with these officers. Which likely doesn't affect most people's assessments on whether or not it was a good shoot, but it 100% affects whether they choose to give a single shit about it or not.

I agree but there has undeniably been messaging from the feds implying the gun itself was the problem without painting the picture of the greater context.

Agreed wholeheartedly. But instead of being upfront and honest about that reality, many are trying to frame it as the shooting was justified because he had a gun. I think that needs to be nipped in the bud whenever possible.

Another consideration is the unfortunate reality that the American people are probably too stupid to understand the nuanced reality, so from a PR standpoint digging in one's heels and pretending there was no wrongdoing may have been the correct move.

Sticky situation overall. When the initial backlash has died down I think there should be an investigation and if they want to claim the officer thought the guy reached for the gun, that's one thing, but I don't think it's good for them to maintain it's justified because he had a gun.

Also it is hard to shake the feeling that everytbing is being handled this way to achieve a poor results to backlash ratio so that they lose the midterms without making all that much ground on deportations.

Nose aside, pretty bad physiognomy overall. Definitely looks like the kind of person to put himself in danger to protect our based illegal aliens and defend them against the heckin' fascists.

spiritually raped

Honestly an amazing way of putting it.

Bouldabassed 8 points ago +8 / -0

Yep. Personally it seems like a bad shoot but ICE's mission is critical and legitimate and play stupid games win stupid prizes. But this is still bad in that it will be used to propagandize normies against ICE.

That is the local troll, do not feed. Regardless of whether this was a good or bad shoot, the fact that he implies the dyke shooting was not justified should tip you off. Easy litmus test.

Bouldabassed 10 points ago +10 / -0

Definitely much more ambiguous / closer to the line than the incident with that dyke. Potentially a bad shoot. If the officer that secured the guy's gun had yelled that he had secured the weapon, the officer who mag dumped may not have gotten trigger happy.

But either way, if you approach ICE with the intent to confront them and obstruct them when they are executing their (legitimate) mission, and you have a gun on your belt, it's a case of play stupid games win stupid prizes. You have hordes of leftoid thugs completely brainwashed by propaganda out agitating and obstructing, and I'd wager most of these agents have not been trained for a lot of these tense and extremely hostile situations.

Unfortunate situation, but we can't let normies be propagandized into hating ICE over shit like this. And anyone who thinks the op to make that happen hasn't been making good ground lately is sadly mistaken.

Part of me likes those notifications because I expressly go out of my way to avoid anything with that listing. Similarly, I've seen a few products at the grocery store with "woman owned" on the packaging. No thanks, I'll pass.

We need to get normie white men on board with that mentality. If even a small fraction of white men did this, sales would tank and make it quickly not worth it.

Now I understand why I enjoy my time in Vietnam so much. Every dollar is worth like $26,000!

Gen X? You sure? Because this is a boomer tier meme.

That empty, vapid, mentally gone look

To be fair if he is trying to look like the average modern woman, he is doing at least that part correctly.

Yep. I am about the single most pro Japanese person you could ever find but the notion that internment camps were unjustified is laughable to me.

Oooh that definitely doesnt surprise me. I didn't go there this past time, but I was there a couple years back and it definitely seems like the type of place that would be impacted first.

Agreed. It kind of screams "I am harping on this for political reasons after being quiet about it for 4 years like a good little boy."

Where do they bump into said Nigerians? I didn't see a single one.

Not saying Trump's intentions are pure or good, but Powell is, at best, a political hack. Likely much worse. He cut rates right before the election to help Kamala despite there being no justifiable reason to do so. For a couple decades at this point there has been different criteria for interest rates depending on who is in office and Powell has absolutely continued that policy.

Orange man brought it all on himself but it's a bit disingenuous seeing as the dude shouted "pedophile defender." He isn't asking about the Epstein files. He didn't shout "why hasn't your DOJ complied with the lawful order to disclose everything they have?" Hard to expect any other response even if it's his own fault he is in this situation.

I was there just a couple months ago for 2 weeks and didn't really see any. At most maybe a few that were clearly American niggaboo tourists. Not to say that they don't exist or that it isn't an issue, but I wouldn't let it dissuade a trip there yet.

I've seen some very good looking half black half white kids that aren't famous people, but I think it's fair to say that the standard deviation is extremely high and perhaps more tilted to the negative end of the distribution.

Yeah, for those who forgot, theDonald sub got banned for threats against police lmao. Probably one of the funniest reasons they could have chosen.

Yes, international law is indeed fake and gay. The strong will do what they can and what they want. That is how it has always been and how it will always be. Doesn't mean I agree or am on board with more world policing though unless it has actual legitimate benefits for actual Americans. But spare me the crocodile tears over muh international law or muh sovereignty.

I think a lot of it is that many people are indeed revolting against overt woke retardation because so many people are sick of it. But that doesn't make them based bastions of sanity and reason. Many of those same people would eat up woke slop that's just a little bit more covert than the most over the top stuff. What might seem blatant to you or me might not be to most normies; they are not exactly known for being smart and discerning.

For example, if normies see a black disabled queer person portrayed as some super badass? Many probably would roll their eyes and think it's cringe. But being more subtle by always portraying black people and families in a good light and white dads as deadbeats? Who are they, Sherlock Holmes? Something like that is way too subtle for most normies, even many with woke fatigue, because they aren't based enough to even think to begin to look for it, no matter how obvious or blatant it may be to people like us.

Sometimes I wish I were an accelerationist because then I could at least take some solace in the incoming Dem trifecta after 2028 but as it stands any positive things this administration has actually done will be wiped out and the bad ones will probably be allowed to continue. Not trying to black pill, but shit is grim.
